    Pool Heater Replaced

My heater started to make some odd noises and would not fire up. Turns out it was water leaking into the heat exchanger and so I needed a new heater. I shopped online to get an idea of the cost of a new heater. I then called Total Tech. Not only did they give me a excellent price on a new unit, but they installed it that same day despite the fact that their install crew was done for the day. Once again, I am very pleased with their commitment to service!!!

    Pool pump

Many thanks to Dave and his staff for their help this year in replacing our pool pump. Although still under warranty, the install company was no longer in service. Dave took action and helped get our warranty sorted and the pump replaced. We have always been happy with the service at Total Tech and this was just one more example of outstanding service!

    Oakville cleaning

These guys are completely IRRESPONSIBLE. They came to clean the pool drained water and left my jets running with no phone call. When I returned him in the evening the jets were running dry. When I called next day they were argumentative about it not happening. All my neighbours who were over for a party could testify that they did do it. The owner was supposed to call me next day and no call. And the topping was the pool was still dirty in addition to leave the jets on dry and ruining the motor and could have ignited a fire. STAY AWAY

No-show for pool Maintence over holidays

I hired them to maintain my pool during our holidays. I went for the twice-a-week service which included pool water testing and vacuuming, chemicals, etc. I had someone staying at the house to enjoy the pool so I wanted to make sure it was in good condition during our absence. The employee at Total Tech assured me service would start that Thursday. No one ever showed up during the last 18 days since I made the call and I am now home to a green pool and a very disappointed and frustrated houseguest. What made me more angry though is the response I got when I called to find out what happened. I suppose they had the young store employee call me back and say it was a problem with the person entering it into the computer and they could send someone out now to do the maintenance... at my cost. I declined thank you very much ! I am here now...

We truly are very sorry for dropping the ball on our end. There was a mistake in the way the associate entered the record resulting in your pool not being added to the list. It was human error and we have re-trained the employee on the process. We did call and offer to clean your pool up immediately and at absolutely no charge to you after explaining the mistake.we certainly would not charge fro this. One of our senior managers did attempt to contact you yesterday as well. We strive to provide the highest level of service and regret any inconvenience this has caused you. Please do not hesitate to contact me at 905-825-1389. Dave

    Pool Installation and Opening

When we decided to install a pool in our garden we received plans and quotes from several local prominent providers and a national one. We decided to proceed with Total Tech Pools Inc based on the package providing a complete solution with landscaping that made good use of pool size and effective living space. The pricing was competitive and the components utilized were top quality. The weather didn't cooperate out of the gate however Total Tech and their dedicated install team from Rosa & Rosa made each day count and completed the build and landscaping in three weeks from dig to opening. As each day progressed we could see the plans taking shape and have to say the finished product exceeded our expectations and then some. All in all, a quality build, quality products from quality people. Paul & Marion

    Pool opening

Extremely poor customer and tech service. I've been using them for last 3 years for pool opening and closing. There were no issues first year (except for a broken pump basket). Since last year they had problems with installing properly one of the drain plugs, resulting in constant water leak. They came back last year to fix it. This year same issue with the plug, in addition to poorly washed water bags and cover. They came back to rewash the bags and try to instal the plug properly. Plug kept on leaking. I was for a month in Europe, called them now and asked to return and fix the plug leakage. I was told by a very unpleasant rep that I could do it myself or they would have to charge me $150 service fee. I thanked them for their business and told them they are losing a customer due to their lousy service. Customer service rep said they were fine with it. Will definitely look for a different company to deal with pool opening and closing. During summer they hire high school kids who don't have much idea about the pool service business.

Hi Joanna, We are sorry you feel you had a negative pool opening and water bag cleaning experience. According to our records, our team returned within five days of your call to clean the water bags and deck again. When you called we were only trying to help by minimizing any cost to you as this was not related to your pool opening several months ago. Furthermore , while we do have a couple of high school students working in the store assisting with carry out etc. we do not have any in the field. Our staff are all highly trained and most are certified and have passed exams etc. If you have additional questions or concerns about our services, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss them with you. Please get in contact with us at info@totaltechpools.com or call us at 905-825-1389.

Fixing My Pool Pump And Outstanding Customer Service

We recently a year ago moved our business to Total Tech Pools. We had been with another smaller supplier, and frankly were sold items for our pool that we clearly didn't need. This poor experience had left a bad taste in our mouth with regard to any pool company. However, we have had the complete opposite experience with Total Tech Pools. We had faith in their team right away, and we ended up buying a new pump and heater, which we are very pleased with. Plus one thing that people don't often think about, but even the outside professionals who they recommend are top notch. The electricians who they recommended were light years better than any other electricians that came to do work for us. I think that says something about a company. Okay, here is the main reason I have decided to write today. Unfortunately, I have been out of work for a few months, and as such, the last thing we need are extra expenses. When last week I shut off my pump, and it made a funny noise, and then would not come on again. There was an error message that came up. When I went into Total Tech, I told them of the problem and the error message, and they were convinced that something somehow had gotten stuck in he impeller. Like every company, they have a service charge to come to your house to make a call. I told them I really couldn't afford the charge because of my current circumstance, and I asked if someone could show me what I needed to do to fix the problem myself. At that time, Joshua whom I was dealing with asked if I would be home tomorrow and that he would send someone to fix the problem at no charge. I was blown away, as I was not expecting that at all. Anyway, their service man did come out, and my wife said he was super professional and had our pump up and running very quickly. And indeed there was a small wood chip that was stuck in the impeller. Anyway, a big thank you to Total Tech Pools, as they truly understand the meaning of Customer Service and Support!!

    Pool service

Thank you to Dave and the entire team at Total Tech Pools! My salt water pool is now in perfect working condition after years of running it as a chlorine pool. Dave came out to determine what the issue was and immediately new that the board had to be replaced. The next day they were back to install it, 2 days later they followed up to ensure that everything was working properly. The customer service that Total Tech Pools provides is exceptional! Everyone there is very knowledgeable and very friendly and eager to help, they always ensure that all my questions are answered completely. It is a pleasure to deal with them and I would recommend this company to anyone. Sandra

    Answer from pro:

Thanks Sandra! I am so pleased we were able to repair your salt generator at minimal cost and hope you continue to enjoy the pool this summer. I know it gets a lot of use !

    Hard working dudes installing pump

Derek and Drew did a outstanding job. Unlike the last time they completed installing the pump even though no one was home and answered our questions. They also installed it in a short period of time.
