Nick was amazing! Good communication, showed up as promised and on time, and did the work - had all the right tools and finished a complex job in just a few hours. He was polite and tidy, and used the right materials to meet fire code regulations. I asked for advice about other jobs and he provided good guidance, with a mind to making things look right, function well, and avoid spending too much. I got quotes from other plumbing companies that were much higher and came with a lot of sales pressure, caveats and long lead times. This was one of my best contractor experiences in a multi-part, months-long renovation. Highly recommended!

Had a disaster dealing with another company listed here where they bent my pot filler, installed the wrong part, and had water leaking behind the wall. Along with a faulty drain installation for my dishwasher where the water was back washing into the dishwasher. Nick comes and promptly fixes it. Puts in the right part for the pot filler, tightens it without bending it and fixes the leak behind the wall. Although the first fix wasn't 100% successful (not his fault, the part provided was not the best), he diagnosed it quickly, went to a specialty plumbing store, came back and fixed it. Straight to the point with no issues. Would strongly recommend for any job.

We called Nick, who was very insightful , and asked us the right questions about our situation. He was patient and heard us out, and came as promised to examine and diagnose the damage to our drywall next to the tub & shower as a seepage issue and identified the likely cause as water leaking from the corner of the bathtub and the shower doors into the adjacent wall. He also inspected our faucets and shower connections in both bathrooms and fixed two minor issues that, if not repaired, would have caused major damage in the future. What I appreciated the most about Nick was his knowledge and his step-wise approach that eliminated the need to open up the drywall and the ceiling of our laundry room below that showed signs of a slow leak, for identifying the cause. He also referred us to a reputable contractor who could do the repair work without us having to needlessly spend additional money on plumbing repair. He was quick and very efficient. We know we have found a reliable plumber whose services we will be sure to use in the future

Nick did a great job on doing the rough-in for our basement Reno. He was great to work with and flexible in terms of times. He also did a great job replacing the copper plumbing with Pex piping. Would recommend to anyone!

We had a clogged drain in our kitchen sink and had tried numerous times to use Drano but this was unsuccessful. We called Nick at Van Horne Plumbing and he "snaked" the drain and removed all the debris. He was very professional and efficient and wore PPE during the service call. We will definitely use him again for any plumbing issues.
