    Lawn care

    Was given a "to good to be true package" to re gain my service and trust do 2 previous cancelation. Was not given what I paid for. Called office and was given attitude bye several people plus nothing but excuses. Ex only sprayed half my lawn, skimped out on two fertilizers , sprayed vegatables garden not weeds, counted respray applications ( which are free when they miss weeds ) toward overall package , didn't provied seeding like discussed , only aerated the side of my lawn that didn't need to be done never showed up when they were saposed to I could go on for days. Do not use this company they will promis you the world and give you a rock.

    Fertilizing and weed control

    Terrible service. They take your money in full 6 months prior to actually beginning so you have no choice but to stay with them and you must constantly call to get any service at all. Absolutely nothing good to say. Stay away from weed a way.

    Lawn Care

    I contacted Weed-A-Way recently after hearing about their service through a neighbour. I was very pleased and satisfied with their service and the results. Their staff were very professional, polite & knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them. KF

    Junk Bin, Lawn Care, Mulch

    Excellent service.. customer first attitude and reliability. I first used this company for 3 years for lawn care.. predominantly weed removal. I don't know how they do it but within 3 months most of the weeds were gone including the nasty clover. I was seriously considering getting the whole lawn replaced but through this service.. I got my lawn back cost effectively. What has impressed me the most is their junk bin service.. I ordered it three times (I was moving and renovating).. I wanted to keep the first bin for 3 weeks, the second for 3 days and the last one for only a few hours as my house was going up for sale the next day.. again.. Kevin and his team came through!! Highly recommended.

    Lawncare

    I got a referral to weed-a-way from a neighbour who's lawn looked absolutely gorgeous, full, green, and weed free!! I called right away May (2013) At the time my lawn had been thru a rough period of grub damage when i started with them, but i can tell you after only a couple visits my weeds were gone, even the tough clover that i had a really tough patch of, and the guys were very nice., the fertilizer was a miracle, my grass was growing like crazy and my lawn looked great!! I renewed last year for this year, and am happy to say i am still a very happy customer. Thanks to Kevin the owner, who is easy to talk to about anything, and to Corey for giving me great service and taking care of my lawn. I get comments on my lawn all the time now, and i have referred some customers!! Thanks for great service.

    Lawn Care

    We have used Weed-A-Way for our home and business properties for over 20 years and have been very happy with their service. If an issue ever did present itself it was dealt with quickly and in a professional manner. I would think we are no different than most customers in that we have specific issues - for example we have in-ground sprinkler heads, and Weed-A-Way always makes sure to phone us a day in advance of aeration so we can mark the heads to prevent damage. If we feel that a particular weed preventative method is not as effective as we would have expected they actually come out to view our issue and an alternate method or a second application is done. This care and attention to detail is what keeps us coming back.

    Yard Materials and weed control

    I received good materials and outstanding service. The treatment was professional and the workers paid detailed attention to my lawn's problems. I recommend this company to anyone who has lawn issues or wants to improve the turf that they have now. It's especially valuable after the severe winter we had this year. There was a lot of damage done to the grass by the snow. Further to my review of this company, there has been a new experience that I have had that has caused me to revise my opinion. It has changed to non-satisfactory because of an uncompleted prior commitment. Too bad. Negative opinions from other Commenters should be taken seriously.

    soil delivery

    I am so impressed with the service I received. I called Weed away to order a few bags of soil and was a bit confused on the quantity I would need.Kevin Mahoney, the owner came to my house personally and walked through with me what my needs would be and as it turned out Kevin suggested I only order 1/2 of what I originally intended. It is not very often you find a company willing to loose/reduce a sale to the benefit of a customer. Delivery was on time and Kevin even called me to see how things went!! I highly recommend Weed Away!

    Unacceptable Customer Service! Less than 1 month and realise I made a HUGE MISTAKE. Have been waiting days for a call back from the rep or manager to acknowlege or confirm receipt of my online request advising them not to add any additional charges to my visa. The exact cost is still a mystery. I Did however receive a call to inform me that the "technician" while aerating determined that I have grub. I followed along while the aeration was being done and contrary to their sales pitch it does not take 3 hours. In fact it didn't even take 15 minutes and although I was promised that overseeding would done at the same time, they only instructions on the paperwork was to leave a bag of seed. And I use the term BAG loosely. In fairness to the guy who showed up to do the job he was kind enough to dispurse it (with a hand spreader) at a very low setting. But he did not bend over to check for grub. I did not take my choice of lawncare service providers lightly. I asked all the right questions and as pointed out in an earlier post the sales reps carefully choose their words so that I WAS ASSURED that my needs woild be met and a confirmation and schedule of services would be forwared to me. NO THEY DON'T HAVE WRITTEN CONTRACTS. NO I will not have one inside contact and the same "certified" tech do all the work. NO they will not test the soil to determine what treatment is needed. NO they will not overseed or top dress . NO the will not address any concerns. So what exactly is their guaranteed service?d

    I sorry you have a bad experience with us, I can assure you our goal is the opposite with our customers. We have been in the lawn care industry for 40 years and we try our best to satisfy all of our customers needs. I would like respond to these concerns: we never know how long an aeration will take but a average size lawn it would take about 15 to 25 minutes, and we offer aeration with a 500 gram bag of seed. We also offer an aeration with over seeding, and we spread the seed only with that option. We would never charge a customer's card without their permission, it would be illegal. Grubs are a very large problem, and if we recommend a treatment it is up to the customer to take our advice or decline it. As for soil testing, we only soil test if a lawn doesn't respond to our services right off the bat. We do not top dress lawns as it is very labour intensive, we do sell the product but do not spread it, nor do we advertise that we do. I believe I have addressed all of the concerns, and would love for you to call me personally at my office so we can work out any other concerns. (905) 858 - 3100. Kevin.
