    Weed-A-Way

    TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE...THEY INSTRUCTED US TO PLACE X WHERE WE WANT 2 BAGOFSOIL TO BE PLACED. BECAUSE THE X IS NOT EASILY SEEN I MADE EXTRA EFFORT TO CALL BACK TO PROVIDE FURTHER DETAILED INSTRUCTION BEFORE I CAN EVEN EXPLAIN I WAS CURTLY TOLD THE ORDER HAS ALREADY GONE OUT AND I SHOULD RECEIVE SAME DAY – AND REMINDED TO JUST ENSURE I PUT AN X WHERE I WANT IT. SO I PLACED X WHERE I WANT IT AND ADDED A POSTER SIGN. DRIVER NEVER SHOWED UP THAT DAY. HE DID COME THE NEXT MORNING AND COINCIDENTALLY BUMPED INTO MY BABYSITTER WHO KNEW NOTHING ABOUT IT AND TOLD HIM THE “EASIEST” PLACE TO DROP IT WAS ON DRIVEWAYAS HE SOUNDED LIKE HE WAS RUSHED (AS I DIDN’T THINK I NEEDED TO ADVISE GIVEN I FOLLOWED CLEAR INSTRUCTIONS WITH THE X) INSTEAD OF LOOKING FOR THE X, HE TOOK THE EASIER OPTION. NOW MY CAR IS BLOCKED IN THE GARAGE. WHEN I CALLED TO ASK THEM TO HELP US MOVE TO PROPER LOCATION SHE WOULD NOT EVEN LISTEN TO ME NOR GIVE ME A CHANCE TO EXPLAIN, THE INSTANT REPONSE WAS IT WAS MY FAULT. NO ATTEMPT WHATSOEVER AS CUSTOMER SERVICE OR HELPING US RESOLVE. I ASKED TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER AND WAS HANDED OVER TO THE “OWNER” WHO DIDN’T LISTEN EITHER, TOLD ME TO BLAME THE BABYSITTER AND HUNG UP ON ME!!! JUST BLEW OVER $300.00 – YES I GOT THE PRODUCT BUT DEFINITELY NOT THE SERVICE ------------- AS IT APPEARS THIS WAS A RESULT OF BAD TIMING AND BOTH PARTIES COULD HAVE HANDLED MATTERS BETTER YOU’D THINK AS A GESTURE OF GOODWILL AND TO LIVE UP TO THEIR ADVERTISED CLAIMS OF EXCELLET CUSTOMER SATISFACTION, THEY WOULD WORK SOMETHING OUT LIKE OFFER TO HAVE DRIVER STOP BY ON HIS NEXT DELIVERY IN THE AREA OR JUST SOMETHING OTHER THAN BLAMING THE CUSTOMER ENTIRELY AND HANGING UP ON ME. I DON’T THINK I HAVE EVER HAD ANY SERVICE PROVIDER HANG UP ON ME. WOW! WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER…WILL DEFINITELY NOT NOT NOT RECOMMEND WEED-A-AWAY TO ANYONE NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY!!! SO WISHED I READ ALL THE OTHER COUNTLESS OF NEGATIVE FEEDBACKS ON THIS COMPANY BEFORE I REACHED OUT TO THEM.

    I am sorry that your bag of soil was not delivered to the spot on your property that you had specified. We work very hard to satisfy our customers' needs, so the person who delivered your soil likely thought they were making things more convenient for you, considering that someone in your home told them to place it elsewhere. Our staff would not purposely place the bag in a location that in inconvenient for you, and would have placed it on the 'X' had your babysitter not told them otherwise. I am sorry that you were unhappy with the service you received, and appreciate your feedback.

    Lawn care

    Weed-away operates with carefully worded sales pitches for every problem known to your lawn. They move from tel # to tel # as they peddle their sales pitches. As a customer I have been asking for 2 years to have the service technician fill out their report card they leave in the mail to show me they are actually monitoring the lawn problems after every service. The Weed-a-way telemarketing lady has no idea about my lawn problems. Wise up - Change your system and drop the technician lawn condition reporting feature if you are not going to live up to it. I have had to tackle repetitive lawn related grub problems after the damage has been done. Not to worry Weed-a-way are always standing by to sell you yet another service or program like re-seeding or another bag of soil to start all over again. Say what you do and do what you say. Room for improvement.

    Weed A Way has always been good to us and their service has been outstanding. When I need customer service, I can call Weed a Way and they respond in a timely manner. Weeds a Way service has been instrumental and I highly recommend your solutions to other municipalities throughout the province "Your service is great!"

    Lawn Care

    As a new house owner, last year, I looked up Weed-A-Way on the net and have found their service friendly and impressive ever since. Due to complete neglect, my front lawn and back yard was full of weeds. It was end season - Wade, the owner's son came over personally to assess and gave me good advice. Their people came over twice for the Fiesta weed spray and I ordered 2 bags of Global Earth Soil and seeds that were delivered promptly at my doorstep. I have retained them this year for their Intermediate program and I look forward to a lush green lawn devoid of weeds. Their strengths are their accessibility and consistency in service. My lawn has already received the fertilizer service this year as part of their scheduled program. Laura, the office manager is very helpful & accommodating and, as a family business, the owner Kevin himself calls up to confirm things are in order. Would recommend them for their personalized touch, flexibility and doing what they know best - deliver the goods!

    Bag of Soil

    I was looking for some good quality soil for my front lawn and stumbled upon an ad I saw from Weed-A-Way and their brand of soil products called Global Earth Bags. After looking at a few other companies in the area I decided to try Weed-A-Way out. I spoke with someone on staff to place my order and she was very friendly and courteous. When I saw the big bag of soil at the front of my driveway when I came home from work, I was astonished to find out how big these bags actually were. They really delivered when it came to quality and price and I will order my bag of soil next year from them as well.

    Lawn Care

    I had the premium service from Weed-A-Way, we really enjoyed their service. We enjoyed having a weed free lawn through the summer session which allowed for my family to enjoyed our yard. This year we decided to move to a dwelling that did not have a lawn. Weed-A-Way was prompt to provide a full refund for my prepaid service. I enjoyed their service and if my situation changes in the future I will use their service again, completely recommend weed-a-way services.

    Lawn care

    We had a terrible lawn covered in weeds, contacted Weed-A-Way last fall(2013) and have been impressed ever since. We were amazed that our weeds virtually disappeared. We weren't sure what to expect after removing our hockey rink tarp but we were relieved there were no weeds and lawn looks great. We've already received our first feeding and fertilizing. The customer service is always excellent, highly recommend Weed-A-Way.

    Lawn care

    I used weed away for 2 years in a row and ended up with a worse lawn then I started with. I was told that I had a guaranteed services on the weed control since it only kills on contact and it did absolutely nothing! in fact I strongly believe what ever it is they used caused more weeds on my lawn. I ended up canceling the services and still to this day I get called 3 to 4 times a week to sign up again when I have made it clear I will never use their services again. This company has by far the worse customer service. I would not recommend weed away to anyone.

Dandelions are starting to show their bright, yellow faces this spring and like it or not, they’re going to make their annual appearance in our lawns. Whether you can tolerate their short-lived bloom or endure watching their wispy seed pods spread their seeds into the wind — from your neighbors' lawn onto yours — we Ontarians have little treatment options available to us for any sort of weed control in our own back and front yards. However that does not mean we can't accomplish getting rid of your weeds. You are right, the weed control is a contact killer and only kills the weeds it has contact with, when new weeds come up you simply call the office and we come back and spray at NO CHARGE to you. We take our work very personally and very seriously. We strive for customer satisfaction. With the introduction of the Ontario Pesticide ban in 2009, our government has left us with limited options for killing the dreaded dandelions and invasive weeds in our turf. I personally have not dealt with a Sarah from Brampton and I am 100% sure I can change your mind about our company. Lawn care is a team effort from both the company and the customer to work together to achieve the best results. Please contact the office if I can assist you any further. In addition, I apologize on behalf of the company, and if I knew your name I could remove you off our contact list. The staff was simply trying to get you back on board with a lawn care company who cares!

    Service

    I was their customer in 2013. This year I said I don't need your services. They tried to blackmail me and send the technician any way. Though we told him we do not need their service, he still did some thing I don't know what. This co. Is very difficult to deal with.

    We respect our customers, there must be a communication break down because we only service lawns who we have had contact with about specific service dates. I'm sorry that you were unhappy with the customer service you received, but our staff would certainly never blackmail a customer, that is illegal and our customers are our most important asset.     Weed-a-way LTD

    I have always been using Weed-a-way for my pesticide and weed removal for my front lawn and back yard. They usually come during the day while I'm at work so I don't see what they do, but I know that I can rely on them to get the job done and bill me appropriately and competitively. I am very pleased with the service I have receaved and would recommend to anyone.
