Review from HomeOwner Review left on 18 Nov 2009Rating: 5 out of 5Old Spout broke off in my bathtub. AVIV plumbing came and fixed the problem. Took the time to put a proper brass fitting on, works great. This is the 2nd repair I have had them do. Both times came when they said, did the work professionally and with courtesy. They got my vote.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

We moved into our house 2 years ago and needed Aviv plumbing atleast 5 times. Our furnace room pipes were a mess and could'nt even find a shut off valve. We had shower, sink, laundry, garborator repairs.Almost everything related to plumbing needed a look at.Raphie always did the best and neatest work and always explained the best solution. If he didnt have a part that was needed he ran out right away to get it or called Michael to get it.I would never call any other plumbing company. They are reliable, trustworthy, and patient. Thanks Michael and RaphieAnswer from pro:

Review left on 27 Jun 2009Rating: 5 out of 5REPIPING FROM OLD POLY B TO PEX PIPING
Mike is an honest, professional who gets the job done!!! Mike re-piped my whole house with minimal drywall damage in about 6 hours. I will recommend Mike to anyone and everyone who needs a plumber. Thanks Mike Tamir & Emma ThornhillAnswer from pro:
Thank you for the kind words. So many homes were piped with PolyButalene pipe during the 80's. This pipe is now outlawed in Ontario. Now you can rest assured that you will no longer have any more floods in your home from pipe/ fitting failure. Thanks to my staff that assisted me on this job and made it possible to do the entire job in 6hrs with very little mess or damage. We were able to have the job completed before the kids came home from school.

Review left on 4 Jun 2009Rating: 5 out of 5Replacement of instant hot and fix shower
Our instant hot started leaking this week. We called yesterday and described what we saw over the phone and he knew exactly what the problem was. (He sure knows his stuff!) He came the very next day with all of the necessary supplies. (Very hassle free for us!!) He came on time and was fast and friendly. He didn't mind taking a look when I remembered we had a problem with our shower as well. Now that's fixed too! Thanks!!Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner
Review left on 31 May 2009Rating: 5 out of 5Leak in pipe inside wall
We had what turned out to be a simple leak in a very hard to access pipe in our kitchen wall. Aviv was recommended by a friend. They sent out Raphie, the plumber who called to apologize that he'd be a bit late due to traffic problems, which I really appreciated. Raphie diagnosed the problem (quickly and correctly), alerted us that it would create quite a mess to repair and that we would likely need a contractor to patch it up when he was done. He took apart our kitchen desk counter and gable in order to access the leak. Just a small hole was made in the drywall and in a short while the problem was repaired inside the wall. Raphie was super professional and most concerned about the damage he'd have to do, giving us lots of warnings in case we wanted in not to proceed. He seemed very competent and most of all knew what he could and could not do himself. When the leaky pipe was repaired he asked us if we wanted him to replace the desk counter and gable, which he did. He also discovered another problem which he fixed. He left the place immaculate with just the small hole in the drywall that he warned us about. While I did think the hourly charge was a bit high (he was there just under 3 hours) I may be out of the loop as I haven't needed to hire a plumber for some time. I was so relieved to have it all done, it was well worth it. This is one fine young plumber who won't dissappoint. I would not hesitate to recomment Aviv and in particular, Raphie, to others.Review from HomeOwner HomeOwner

Michael Aviv and his employees are the best! I have used them many times for jobs ranging from fixing a garbourator, to extensive bathroom work. This time, I suddenly found my basement furnace room was flooded with water. Michael came promptly and immediately fixed the problem, for a very reasonable cost. If you are looking for a skilled, honest plumber, he is the one to call!!Answer from pro:
Honesty is always the best policy. I am glad that you enjoyed having the prompt reliable and honest service that every person deserves. Why should it be any other way? I look forward to serving you in the future.

Review left on 1 Feb 2009Rating: 5 out of 5Several different projects over last year from burst pipe, freeflowing toilet to repair and replacement of three toilets in various bathrooms
We have had several plumbing firms in to look at toilets and asump pump at our newly bought house and each time they fixed them to stop to the free flowing or clogs then 3-4 months later they would be free flowing again and after 2-3 visits by various firms and pretty much we could have replaced all the toilets in the house for the repairs. Aviv was the first one to come and say they could fix it but the toilet were poor quality and by replacing them we would not need to call them again and it turned out that it was done in a day and no worries. They have also come out on late Sunday night in a storm to repair a broken shut off valve as well as fix a sump pump that had also been repaired but incorrectly by another contractor and Aviv's costs to us was much less expensive then the other contractor. Great and timely service and they educate the customer creating a value added service environment they have been the ones to call for several other issues always with the same quality of service on jobs from $120-$2500.
