Excel is a great option for anyone considering building a new home, whether a basic home or with high end finishings. They do it all. We fell in love with the floor plan and we were able to customize everything on the inside to suit our taste. We have referred them to others. The customer service was excellent throughout the entire process.

This company was referred to us by a friend. We liked the location and found a floor plan we liked. We were very happy with the end result. There was warning that the price could increase. We got a call to come sign papers today or tomorrow. I went the next day, couldn't get there earlier. That one day cost me another $3000.00 I wish they had of warned me that it could go up that quickly.

We found this company while we were walking in our neighborhood. We went in and found a floor plan that we liked.The whole process went well with the exception of getting the hand held shower head we asked for. They claimed that it was too late to add it in, but the foundation had yet to be poured. Over all it was a good experience.

I picked a floor plan that I liked and made some modifications to it. The whole process was awesome. They kept me up to date with the status and sent pictures as they built it. I would use them again in a heartbeat. The house was ready 2 months early. I have already referred them to others.

We built with Excel in Paskapoo. We have learned the hard way that just b/c you pay additional for upgraded features doesn't mean the quality is there. We had a really positive experience with Excel except for one big issue - our cabinets which we paid several thousand dollars to upgrade to solid wood panels - started peeling and lifting in the kitchen and bathrooms within the first year. Drawer panels and side panels were replaced, then not even two years after possession the cupboard doors started doing the same thing however b/c its now past one year neither Excel nor Decor will work with us on it. We were told by Decor at the selection that we were investing in quality cabinets but we've ended up with drawers that are different shades of stain than the cupboards, cupboard stain that is lifting and peeling in several areas and parts of our ensuite that they tiled b/c they didn't want to pull out the cabinets to fix them. I would recommend asking lots of questions about warranties etc on "upgrades". We definitley wish we would have pushed Excel and Decor to replace everything when we all realized there was a problem with the stain they originally used instead of trying to be reasonal and let them do it in pieces. We didn't think we would be in a situation like this with Excel, just a warning to be cautious.

Had a great experience building with excel, my Fiancé and I love our new home! Both Maureen and David in the sales center were extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgable. Making the entire process easy and fun. Ross our customer care representative also did an amazing job for us. We would have no hesitations recommending Excel Homes to anyone we know!!

I have nothing but good things to say about Excel Homes! We love everything about our new home and have had quick response to any concerns we may have. I am very proud to own a Green Built home with an 82 out of 100 rating! The team at the Copperfield sales center are amazing, thank you for our beautiful home!

We could not be happier with the purchase of our new home. The quality of the home and the service provided by Excel homes was second to none. The staff responsible for Sage Hill were extremely helpful and responsive to our requests. We would definitely recommend purchasing from this team to anyone.

I just built my very first home and I have to say if I ever build again it would be with Excel homes! I read these other reviews and I have to say it's got to be a one off! I have had nothing but excellent customer service by Henry and Lian in Panorama Hills, not to mention the site supervisor Earl. Any question I've had, they have answered (and trust me I've had many). Now that I'm in the house, I have no complaints either! It's beautiful! I would definitely recommend Excel Homes to friends and family! Thank you guys so much for making the building process so easy!!

TERRIBLE CRAFTSMANSHIP. Our driveway is also crumbling to pieces among other things, yet they sent us a bill if we wanted to repair it for $800, even after the tradesman admitted it looked terrible, and he would not be happy with this for himself. Every error they make is put back on you. I have been in the home for under a year and am extremely unhappy! DO NO BUY FROM EXCEL HOMES. There staff is also clueless, and there customer service line will not call you back.
