Whole experience was awful from beginning to end. We ordered a simple side door in early September 2021 and it took 9 months to get the door installed. The customer service rep was awful - he did not even come with a pamphlet and was not able to show us pictures of doors or any images of window options (how is it possible for a door company to not have a catalogue???). After we made our order, there were delays getting the actual door, which Verdun attributes to COVID. However, when the door arrived at the warehouse after 7 months, the parts to install it were missing, so we had to wait several more weeks. There was zero communication from Verdun - they would promise to call us back with updates and never did. We were constantly having to follow up and ask what was going on with the parts and the installation date. NINE MONTHS after we made the order, we finally had the installers come. THEY did a great job on the installation (note that the installers are not from Verdun directly but are contracted). That said, at the end of the install, they said they were not given the right parts for the LOCK we wanted. We PAID for a deadbolt and did not get one - we got a flimsy lock-in-handle option instead. The installer said he would "put in another work order" for us to get the deadbolt. Even though I had to pay in full after the installation, the work I paid for was NOT delivered.
My husband and I are astounded at Verdun's lack of professionalism, courtesy, customer service, and accountability.
