Fantastic Friendly Service
After getting a LOT of quotes I was a little nervous about going with the lowest quote we had received. They always say don't go with the cheapest or the most expensive quote you receive. And although Marcotte Glass had the lowest quote I had gotten what really won us over was the office manager, Erin Morris', and her fantastic customer service. She thoroughly explained the entire process and let us know about anything that could potentially cause the price to go up. She was so friendly and very patient with my numerous questions. Once they did the site visit the price ended up being exactly what we were originally quoted. The guy who came and actually did the work was friendly and did a fast, clean job. The window looks great and they left the area, inside and out, clean. Would definitely recommend Marcotte Glass to anyone getting an Egress window done, or anyone just getting old windows replaced (that's our next project they're helping us with).

basement window installation
While the workers were cutting through the drywall in my basement they managed to hit and damage an electrical wire. We were told it was a common hazard and we would have to pay for an electrician to fix the problem even though I didn't cut the wire. I asked since it happened quite often do they have an electrician they use for these situations and was told no. After calling again and talking to someone else, I asked since it happens so often why don't they use a stud finder or something similar to find hidden wires or pipes before cutting and was told it doesn't really happen that often. After a few phone calls and about a month later they sent out someone to reset the drip cap that was installed incorrectly and to add insulation around one of the windows since there was a spot where you could see the concrete foundation from the inside. My biggest complaint is we spent over $5000 to get the windows done and then got another bill and a large drywall repair because they haven't taken any responsibility for their mistake.

Basement Bedroom Egress Window
I suggest you keep this company's phone number handy if you want any work done dealing with windows! Starting with Erin in the office; Trent who came out to do the estimate and EXPLAIN to me the entire process; Mike who did the cutting of the concrete as well as the completion of the wooden window well and Brad who installed and finished the window and the interior - I could not be more pleased! What a beautiful window and what a difference in the basement bedroom! This company is professional, fair priced, pleasant to deal with and communicates with their clients! A breath of fresh air!

window in basement
The service that Marcotte Glass offered was superb (from the interfacing online through to the completion of the job. The professionals who cut and installed the window were professional and informed us re the progress as the job progressed. We requested a wooden window well and this was done very well. I would recommend this company to my friends.

Basement Egress Window Wells
For two windows: Job included trenching, concrete wall cutting, installing header, supplying and installing egress window, supplying and installing steel window well, backfilling behind steel well. Very good dust and cutting fluid control. Overall a very professional job at a reasonable price. Would employ again and recommend to others.

Basement Windows
Marcotte Glass is a great company and I definitely recommend them. They were friendly, provided a fair quote and were able to complete the job in a timely manner. The materials they used and their quality of work is excellent. I will certainly hire them again in the future and I feel confident referring my friends and family to them.

New Basement window
To work and ship was above and beyond what I expected. Rate from the quote to the job being done the team was very patient and helpful with all my questions and concerns. AND there was a promotion at the time where I saved a few hundred dollars which made all the difference. The job took 2 visits in total and was done exactly as described in the consultation I would recommend Marcotte to anyone. Thanks so much Erin and crew for a very professional and quality experience.

basement window
Needed a basement window for a bedroom window and spoke with Erin who gave me rough estimate over the phone and scheduled a home service call. Trent came in to ensure the window would fit and a couple weeks later had a beautiful new window. Everybody from Erin to Trent and to the guys who came in to install the window were a pleasure to deal with. Would use them again in a heartbeat.

Basement Window Cut & Install
We got our quote on a Monday and the project was done Thursday afternoon. The 3 guys who came out to do the work were friendly and helpful. My kids took in the entire "show" and they didn't mind at all. They did a great job, the window looks great and the finishing they did on the inside is perfect. I opted to install my own window well rather than going with the aluminum one they would provide.

Basement Windows
Did the Premium Package with interior finishing for our new basement windows, to have them enlarged and put in a well needed window well. From start to finish, Erin and Trent were extremely helpful in their information and quotes. From cutting the concrete, to digging the trench for the well, everything was done on time and we are extremely happy with the windows. The basement almost doesn't even feel like a basement with such large windows and so much light is let in. Extremely happy with the work.
