    Plumbing - drain clog

    Plumber More than doubled the quote upon arrival. Attempted to double price again after plumber (brad) screwed up and had to fix HIS OWN mistake. Plumber was very rude to my tenants, swearing in front of their children and threatening to his co-workers to walk off the job without completion after he made a mistake. Arrived 2 hours late, and began telling me I needed all this extensive extra work, bringing the cost from the original quote of $100-200 up to about $1,000.. for a clogged drain. When I did not authorize the further work they simply walked off the job. Plumber left excrement smeared on on floor and walls. Terrible, Terrible service. Would never use again. The only decent employee seems to be Ryan in the office.

    Plumbing rerouting; water softener install and more

    This was the second job that Doyle Plumbing did for us. This one was a biggie! Our utility room was a mess with plumbing lines going every which way; a UV filter that was not very accessible; a discontinued hot water floor heater and some old plastic piping that was on recall. Chris and Kyle were friendly, polite, clean and above all: knowledgeable. They did a great job in a short time, so our water was not off for too long. It now looks great and our water pressure is greatly improved as well. The new water softener is working well and we can now change the UV light easily. Thanks so much! The humidifier is next!

    multiple services

    I have owned my own house in the peterborough area for six years. Our first year our basement flooded. Impressed by the add in the yellow pages doyles got my first call. Answered the phone in two rings. And had a tech. Over within a half hour. AMAZING!!! After a brief inspection the problem was presented to me. As well as multiple options to move forward. I agreed and the next morning three doyles with alot of equipment were at my door eager to work. 5 years later we still have the driest basement around. I have since learned of a few companies would have done the job cheaper. There is no replacement for the; quality. Punctuality And Presentation that doyles gave me. With me they loose points with price. But I have used them many times since and will continue to trust the service they provide. Anyone that wants a job done properly. Use doyles. Im certain they wont let you down.

    Frozen Pipes

    I called Doyle plumbing. They arrived 4 hours late. They tried to sell me a new pump and pressure tank for $1500.00 when my pipes were just frozen. After charging me $165.00 for their bad advice they wanted another $475.00 the next day to thaw the lines. Worse customer service I have ever had.

    Service call

    I was at home on a sunday night when my basement sink started backing up. It was quite the mess. I called 3 different plumbing companies until I finally got through to someone. Doyle plumbing had someone answer the call, diagnose the problem and reassured me that a plumber was on his way. When Chris showed up he was very concerned and acted quickly in unclogging my drain. He worked effectively and was extremely professional. When he finished the job he answered some other questions that I had about the plumbing in my home and he was really knowledgeable in his field. If I have any other plumbing issues I will be sure to use Doyle plumbing. Great service, thanks guys!

    furnace repair

    I call Doyle Plumbing for furnace repair. his tech. came 3 hours late, did not fix my furnace, but charge me full price for the service. I do not recommend Doyle Plumbing for furnace repair.

    Main Sewer Line

    I contacted Doyle Plumbing late last night as i was in desperate need of a plumber. All the drains in our house were backed up. Brad had my drain augured out in no time. His work ethic and professionalism was great. As he was leaving he asked if there was anything else i would like him to look at. Within minutes he had repaired my leaking faucet at no charge. I will be recommending Doyle Plumbing to everyone. There speedy service and wonderful staff was well over the top. Thanks Again!

    Basement Bathroom Rough-In

    We were in the process of finishing our basement but when we got to the bathroom area, realized the rough-in wasn't in the proper configuration for completion. Thom and Gord were the plumbers who reconfigured the drain and vent for us to complete our 3 piece bathroom. They were quick and completed the job within a few hours. They tested the lines to ensure there was no leakage before signing off on their work.

    Furnace repair

    Called about furnace not working and they came right over. They said the furnace was no good and I needed to purchase a new one, which was replaced only 6 years prior to me purchasing the house. The quote was for $5000. They charged me $155 for a service call and left. I called another local company to get a second opinion and my furnace was up and running within two hours and it only cost me $125 for a service call and a $30 part. I have since heard other stories of this nature. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

If the job is accepted by the customer the original service call amount is deducted from the price and used as a deposit. I'm sorry you felt you were being over charged.     Hot water tank part

    Long story short - DONT call them for service, even if you are desprate. They will provide you service, rip you off and charge you a fortune int he mean time. I had a part go on the hot water tank, they said that it was either Part A or part B....came and fixed part A and the next day the tank broke. They said theyd gladly fix part B for another $600 on top of the $500 they had already charged. Outraged, i complained, he said hed refund my money in full by cheque, and it just happened to never show up. The most shady business and business people in the word.
