Surpassed our expectations!
My family and I decided that it was time to replace our old aluminum frame windows and patio sliding doors in our 26 year old house. We could feel the draft entering the house in the cold weather and one of our patio sliders had become stuck. By chance, I decided to walk into the Long Life Windows showroom as it was close to my workplace. I was greeted immediately by Zooey and two friendly dogs who were basking in the sun shining through the windows. Paul Sanders casually came out of his office and we started up a conversation. Paul spent the next 30-45 minutes explaining the types of frames and window they sold (Vinyltek) and their benefits. Not once did I feel pressured to place an order right away. I would have placed the order with Paul immediately but I knew I would have a lot of explaining to do at home or worse, receive multiple lectures about the pitfalls of impulse buying without "shopping around". After researching a few more window replacement companies and a few heated exchanges at home, I was confident that Long Life Windows was the right choice. The entire process from start (initial measurements) to finish (installation and final inspection) was so smooth and positive. Paul, Zooey and Kris were a pleasure to chat with and every part of the process was clearly explained and laid out. When our windows were ready for installation (3 french doors and 26 windows, a very big project), Paul made sure that he had two teams come to do the installation. All the windows and doors were installed in 2 days! Talk about efficient! I came home in the late evening after the all the windows and doors were installed and I instantly noticed the difference in the warmth of the house. Even my father said he had to turn down the heat because he no longer felt any draft coming from the windows! Amazing! My father raved for over a week about how professional every single member of the installation team was and he could tell everyone took pride in their work and knew exactly what they were doing. Everything was nice, clean and tidy every night before they left. He made special mention of both Bernard (the "funny, talkative guy") and Josh (the "big strong guy") over and over. I cannot express how much we love our new windows and doors and how impressed we are with the quality of the windows and the immediate difference they have made in efficiency. Installation of Vinyltek floor to ceiling patio doors and windows.
I recently purchased a Townhouse in West Vancouver and chose to replace the existing aluminum frame patio doors and windows with a vinyl product during my major renovation. I used the Vinyltek product when constructing my new home in Lions Bay some 15+ years ago and was thoroughly pleased with the results. I conducted current research of alternative Vinyl products and suppliers prior to contracting with Long Life Windows and Doors for the supply and installation of Vinyltek's patio doors and windows. My decision was based upon what I consider the superior design, construction and performance of the product and of equal importance, the representation and professionalism of the Long Life Windows and Doors organization. Josh and his crew performed an amazing installation that was completed ahead of schedule and in a immaculate fashion that totally exceeded my expectations. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Long Life Windows and Doors as your supplier and installer.

The icing on the cake
Two years ago we had Long Life in to replace all the windows in our house. They did a brilliant job and the new windows are amazing. There was one window, however, that we knew we wanted to replace with a larger/longer one, but couldn't do it at that time for a variety of reasons. This year we did a major renovation on the house but didn't do the window because of permit restrictions. We arranged for the window to go in at a later date and Kris ordered it and promised it would be a short job that he could squeeze in before Christmas and that is exactly what happened. Josh and his crew came one afternoon last week and took out what was a high, narrow window at the back of the house (where the view is), extended the opening, and installed the new window in short order. They worked efficiently, and cleanly and were all exceptionally polite. Josh had been on the team that did the original window retrofit and it was great to have him back on the job. Thank you Josh and Crew. You've given us back the view.

Window Replacement
We used Long Life to replace our (original) windows this fall. We contacted Paul after we had already spent some time researching other companies and in the end we decided to go with Long Life. Aside from the high quality Vinyltek product they use, we appreciated their honest, professional opinion when it came to installation method. Bernard and his son installed the windows. They were professional, always on time, provided updates regularly, always left the house clean, and a great pair to work with. If you're looking for top quality windows with top quality service and installation, then Long Life are the ones!

Replaced windows
Long Life Windows replaced our front windows as one of them was leaking. The crew, led by Josh, were fantastic. They took pride in their work and kept the site as clean and safe as possible. They were also professional and friendly. They did a great job caulking around the windows to prevent future leaks and did a wonderful job with the finishing. We plan to replace the back windows next year and we will be requesting Josh, Curtis, Alice and the other guy whose name we forgot. Overall, we were very happy and we have had no leaks since the new windows were installed. Two thumbs up!

New windows & Front door
We couldn't be happier with Long Life Windows & Doors Ltd. Our new windows and front door are outstanding. Not only did Bernard and Shawn care about their work, but they also cared about the safety and security of our young children. They went above and beyond. We were initially very hesitant about a winter window install but they completed the job seamlessly. We were very impressed with how clean everything was throughout the whole project. Highly recommend!!

Window and Door Replacement
We have been pleased and impressed from start to finish with Longlife Windows & Doors. First, Paul presented us with a high quality product. Next, we met with Bernard, who explained exactly what he and Shawn would be doing and offered expert advice on our door replacements. Lastly, we were extremely pleased and amazed with the speed, quality and professionalism that Bernard and Shawn demonstrated during the installation period. The new windows and doors have revived our 45 year old home!

Window and sliding door replacement
It was a worry for me to find the right company to replace my old windows and sliding door. My past experience with another vendor turned out to be a disappointment. Long Life was definitely the right company to go with. Paul provided great customer service and product knowledge from beginning to end. Bernard and Shawn undertook the installation and carpentry work. The quality of their workmanship was outstanding. They were friendly, hard working, efficient and very tidy. This project turned out great. Thank you very much Long Life!

Window Replacement
Bernard & Shawn were very professional in their workmanship. Clean & detail, making sure that the installation is done right. Very friendly to deal with. Blaine, our saleperson also came on site & participate to make sure that things are well taken care of. What a team! I was referred by family members to Longlife Window & I will recommend Longlife Windows to friends & family.

Window replacement
Bernard and his son are very professional and did an excellent job on our window replacement. They ran in to a few minor problems which they handled exceptionally well. We have a very old dog who was having a difficult time with all the activity. They took the time to be very kind to her and we really appreciated their kindness Vinyl Tech windows were recommended to us by someone who had extensive knowledge of different window manufacturers and recommended Vinyl Tech because they had never had any problems with that manufacturer. The windows are wonderful and well worth the extra money. You couldn’t get a better installer than Bernard Fortin and his son.
