    Window & Door Installation

Rick and Preston are highly skilled carpenters dedicated to quality workmanship. They accomodated our changing needs in our renovation, and were available to answer any questions we had. They always ensured they left a clean worksite at the end of the day. When we needed even more work done, they were able to refer us to other qualified trades who did a great job as well. In my career as a Realtor, I won't hesitate to recommend this company to my clients. Thanks for a job well done!

    Answer from pro:

Hi Karlis, I have passed on these kind words to Rick and Preston, they have been working with us for 18 years and we love to give them feedback like this. We look forward to dropping off some gift certificate for your future referrals!

    window replacement

We were very pleased with Long Life Property Improvements. Their price was competitive, Kris in sales was friendly and informative and the installation was very professional. The work was completed on time, the cleanup was thorough and the windows look wonderful - great job! Thanks, Lorne.

    Answer from pro:

Hi Lorne, that beige brick mold looks great, I need to swing by there and grab some pictures as the difference the windows made on the house is substantial. We look forward to working with you again in the future.

    Window and Patio door replacement

It's been 5 months since Long Life replaced our 14 windows and patio door in Sept 2009, and we are very pleased with the quality of the Vinyltec windows, and have received many favourable comments about the updated exterior and increased value of our home. I was very happy with the efficiency and professionalism of the entire job from start to finish including the detailed and efficient quotation and job coordination from both Peter and Pat to the installation team of Bernard and crew who did a fabulous job with the installation leaving the job site clean and complete. Having dealt with another Window supplier in the past with a previous home, I must say Long Life is far superior. I highly recommend Long Life Property Improvements Ltd. for window/patio door replacement in terms of product knowledge, in-depth quotation, warranty, competive pricing and quality of the installation and product. Thanks again...James

    Answer from pro:

    Window & Sliding Door Replacement

We decided on Long Life for the replacement of our windows for a few reasons. 1) Nail Flange technique, 2) Vinyltek window design, 3) Vinyltek is made locally so this made the job a 'green' job, 4) Long Life's web-site and reviews from other customers 5) Long Life doesn't limit the crews to the amount of supplies they can use on a job. They encourage the crews to use what they need to ensure a well installed and securely sealed result. 6) choice of window glass (laminated windows have cut all dog barking - and we are surrounded by noisy dogs) 7) guarantee made on the job and the windows 8) References. We expected a lot. And they more than delivered. The work done was superior, our energy rating on our hoome went way up as a result of the job they did. The crew kept the worksite tidy and were able to get the job done in just a few days (we had 13 windows and 2 sliding doors replaced). I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

    Answer from pro:

Chris & Dale, I appreciate the kind review, as I have never had a more educated customer, the pages of questions and research you guys did was a great way of purchasing windows, and that you chose Long Life is a great testiment to what Long Life is trying to do in the market. Thank you for your business, there will be a $20 contribution letter coming to you that we made on your behalf for your business as a tax break, should be coming to you towards the end of the month. Thanks, Kris Alexander

    Window replacement

Replacing all the windows in a house (21 windows in our case) is not a trivial job and not without a lot of potential pitfalls. But Robert and his team performed brilliantly inspite of some tough obstacles such as hard to access windows. Their pleasant demeanour, sense of humour and work ethic were extraordinary. If I had such a business I'd treat a crew like this very, very well.

    Window Replacement

We had 4 different companies give us estimates and suggestions on window replacement and Kris was the most accommodating and finished the job before he promised. Rick who installed the windows has a wealth of experience and gave us excellent opinions and did a fantastic job with installation along with his partner Preston. There was minimal work for us to do to prepare for the installation and the vinyltek product is top notch in terms of quality and appearance. We would definitely use Long Life again without hesitation. Pat who owns the operation was always available and very professional to deal with. Thank you for a Job well done.

    Answer from pro:

Hi Vu & Lisa, Thank you for the kind review, we are extremely glad you are happy with the work you had us complete, and we look forward to working with you again to replace the rest of them. thanks, Kris

    Window Replacement

I can honestly say I’ve never written a review about anything before but feel that the people at Long Life deserve to be recognized for the outstanding work that they do. There were a total of 25 windows that we wanted to replace in our home so it was after months of research and estimates from a number companies that we made the decision to go with Long Life and we couldn’t be happier. Everyone we dealt with left a positive impression on us, Paul did a great job on helping us with every aspect of the project and we were impressed with his technical knowledge when it came to letting us know what was and wasn’t feasible and helping us to stay on budget whilst giving us the product and options we wanted. All our windows required cutting back of the siding so that they could be finished with 2 x 4 trim, with a couple of the windows requiring to be pushed back in against the house as they had previously been “boxed” out, all of which was expertly handled by Robert and his crew. Talking of the crew, not only did they do a great job, they were very courteous and extremely good at cleaning up after wards, leaving the house as clean or cleaner then when they arrived. The difference that the windows have made to the comfort of our home is amazing and feeling that the windows were installed by a company that genuinely cares has left us feeling very satisfied with this project and Long Life will certainly be getting our future business.

    Answer from pro:

Rupert, We appreciate the review, I know Robert enjoyed doing all the trims and work on the windows, and we value your business greatly. Please do let us know if there is anything else we can do to help you and we look forward to hearing from you in the future. thanks, Kris

    New Windows

Want to say thanks to Paul, he should be salesman of the year! He was great at knowing what we wanted and getting it done. Thanks to Bernard and his crew who did a perfect job of installing, even the tough job of knocking all the brick out of the way to put in an additional window. Thanks again.

    Answer from pro:

Hi Larry & Chrystal, Thanks for the kind words, I have given the news to Paul that he is the Salesman of the year! We are glad you are happy and we look forward to working with you again if the opportunity shall arise. I also will be coming by to snap a couple pictures of the job, as it is one to keep on file. Thanks, Kris Alexander
