I did not actually do business with Armstrong and Nelson, but I did deal with the company and spoken to them on the phone. I requested their services and got a discounted price, and we agreed on a time. At the eleventh hour, I cancelled. I spoke with Rhoda (the manager) later. Dear Rhoda, I would like apologize for the late cancellation and for wasting your time. Please don't get upset, these things happen sometimes and they are unfortunately an inevitable part of dealing with customers and life. I had been postponing eavestrough repair following a re-roof. Then fall approaching got me in gear and I was surprised that it was difficult to locate a company to come to downtown Toronto to do the job. Found Armstrong and Nelson online, called and spoke with Ben who came the same day to estimate costs. He called me back, I approved the plan and the next day the job was done. No fuss and on budget. I particularly appreciated that no new materials were needed. I never did meet Ben but I would recommend this company to anyone. It’s better than therapy, now I don’t have to worry about the next downpour.

I hired them to fix lots of water coming out from the roof during a heavy rain. Water doesn't go to the gutter. Was told that the gutter needs realignment and that they guarantee their work. Come heavy rain and the same problem happened. Was told that they need to install another downpipe and run it to my backyard. That might create flooding or might go to my neighbor at the back and that might create problem. Was told that I have to pay another hundreds of dollars. WHERE'S THE GUARANTEE that they said they do on their jobs? They did not properly correct the problem in the first place.

Just a pleasure to deal with the Armstrong/Nelson team. I had a job that needed to be done by another company. Some things came up and this "other" company couldn't come through with the work but suggested A/N and I'm so glad they did. They matched the price and work with no hesitation and did a great job that was done on time and done professionally. Thanks guys!

We live in Roncey village, so the houses are close together and very steep, hard to reach places. Juan and his partner did a great job and the house looks great. They kept in touch and I appreciated that they called to let me know when their previous job was running over instead of just not showing up.

Contacted them inquiring about getting a quote regarding eaves replaced. Was pleasantly surprised to be informed that it made more sense to repair eaves instead of replacing them since all eaves are made from aluminum and should last forever as I was told. I really appreciated the honesty! I promptly received a quote and then arranged for repairs. Had several rainfalls since the repairs and have no complaints. Thank you to this company for saving me a couple of $1000 for repairs rather than replacement!

I knew that I had an issue with my eaves troughs since there was significant icing issues over my front porch. When the house was built, one section of eaves troughs had been missed. I called for several quotes to have that portion fitted and to assess the rest of the roof. First, Armstrong and Nelson were the ONLY company to call me back. Second, the technician who came to my door was very friendly, knowledgeable and identified another issue that was contributing to the problem. He addressed it and I did not have to replace all my eaves troughs. I would definitely recommend this company.

Good quality job in fixing eavesthrough leakages and responded fast after an ice storm damage. Technician was very professional. I'd use this company again and would happily recommend to others.

Sam from Armstrong and Nelson Eavesdroughing was by far the quickest to respond to my request for service, and went above and beyond to solve the problems I was experiencing (and to clean up previous jobs). He also offered extra service and suggested help on projects outside of the scope of the work. He was very professional with phone calls, follow-ups and explanations and he did a good job.

A side of our eavestrough came loose during the winter storm that occurred last week. We contacted a few companies and Armstrong & Nelson was the first to reply. An arrangement was made for a tech to come out and assess the problem and provide an estimate on Thursday (which is tomorrow). The tech named Sam actually came by today as he said he was in the neighbourhood. He was friendly, polite, and explained everything that needed to be done as well as the cost. We went ahead with the repair and are pleased with the service. If there are any future issues with our eavestrough, we will be contacting Armstrong & Nelson again without hesitation.
