    Oak Hallway and Fir Kitchen Floors restored!

    We had our floors refinished while we were away at Spring Break. What a nice surprise to see such beautiful floors when we arrived home. I always get three quotes for any work/projects done at the house and Restoration Hardwood came in at a fair price. Thanks Lee (Estimator) and Devin the worker bee! :)

    Home floor refinishing

    When the company we originally contracted was not able to start the job, I contacted Lee from Restoration Hardwood Floors and was willing to step in despite the tight deadline and short notice. Everything was done in the most professional manner. Lee came to check out the house personally, provided a quote that is within our budget and promised the job will be done on time and our floor would look amazing! That is exactly what we got. Professionally refinished hardwood floor that looks amazing and it was done on time. Thank you, Lee and Restoration Hardwood Floors. I would recommend you to any friend or family!!

    Hardwood flooring on entrance stairs (replacing carpet)

    We wanted the carpet on our entrance stairs and small landing replaced with hardwood. We contacted a few flooring companies and Lee got back to us right away and gave us the best quote. His workers did the job in less than 1 day, so disruption was minimal. At first we were a bit disappointed with the job as there were gaps visible between the wall and some of the stairs. However, as soon as we informed Lee of the problem he came and looked at it immediately. And within an hour had one of his guys back to fix it. We were really impressed at how seriously he took this error and how quickly it was resolved. Now we have lovely hardwood stairs. I would definitely recommend Restoration Hardwood Floors to friends and family.

    Hardwood floor re-finishing

    We had our oak floors re-finished this week and I'm very pleased with the results. From the initial consult to the workmanship, the team at Hardwood Restoration were knowledgeable, professional & friendly. We would not hesitate in recommending them to friends and neighbours.

    Refinish, stain, patch prefinished maple floor

    I bought a house with mismatched maple prefinished wood floors, then started a remodel. We needed the floors patched, and then refinished. I called several floor refinishers. Lee came out to quote when he said he would, and gave me a reasonable quote. It was lower than the other quotes I got, but based on the good reviews on this site, I scheduled the work. Arek and Trevor came out and did the work, after a short delay from the agreed on start date. They did all the work carefully. I was thrilled with the patching and sanding work, but not as much with the staining. Apparently staining maple is a tricky business. We went with just a light stain, but it does look a little blotchy in places. We requested a fix in one spot that was particularly noticeable. Lee scheduled the fix immediately and it was done to our satisfaction. So overall I was quite happy with the work, just not my choice with staining the maple. I feel I should have left it natural. Just a general comment to any others out there with light maple floors.

    Hardwood refinishing

    Lee met with me promptly to visit the site and produce a quote. Rate was very fair and the quality of work was pretty good. Not perfect, but this wasn't a new house so I was satisfied overall. A little odd the guys showed up and had to be briefed on the job, but it was simple and straightforward. I would suggest having adjacent areas tarped off - even though it's very minimal dusting, you'll still need to wipe areas down. Overall I would recommend!

    Kitchen and family room hardwood refinishing

    The guys at Restoration Hardwood were professional and friendly. They did a great job in making our run down kitchen floors looking all new and updated again. The hardwood refinishing for our kitchen was the last touch after a kitchen reno... it really completed the look and update as we changed it into a gray and natural stain. The floors look great, thanks to the two guys at Restoration Hardwood and Lee for getting the process going.

    Hardwood floor replacement

    Lee and Derek came to our rescue when we had to get our hardwood floor replaced because of a totally botched job by our former contractor. When we met Lee, he put our minds at ease with his knowledge and professionalism. He worked closely with us to figure out what was needed and brought in Derek to consult with us. Derek did a fantastic job installing our new floor. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

    Floor Refinishing

    Our 105 year old fir floors needed lots of patching plus full refinishing in the area we were renovating. We used Restoration Hardware several years ago for another part of the house and were very pleased with them. Happy to report they are still very good; did a professional job, on time and for a reasonable cost. Their workers showed up when they said they would and were friendly and respectful of our old heritage home. We will use them again.

    Floor refinishing (true hardwood and engineered floors)

    Lee and his team did a great job, professional and efficient, kept to their proposed dates/timeline and the floors look FANTASTIC. They refinished 3 larger rooms for us, and a few stairs. Would definitely recommend them to friends.
