    Home Inspection

    This was my first home inspection although I've heard many stories from friends of their not so good experiences. I was initially worried that many items would be missed or overlooked or dismissed. Let me reassure you that Vahn was extremely thorough in his inspection. His approach is very professional, he fully inspected each aspect of the home, then carefully walked me through each and every part of house. Not only did I get a good concept of the quality of the home, but found the experience very educational since I was able to ask Vahn all kinds of questions which he was able to provide answers or suggestions for. I would highly recommend anyone buying a home to use his services, however, if you are trying to sell your home you may want to look elsewhere since Vahn is a very honest guy!!!

But that's some of the "fun" that comes out of a home inspection....finding out what happened in the home from observing various clues.     Home Inspection

    This was my first experience going through a home inspection and you can just imagine how important it was to choose the right person. In my search, I went through different sites and after looking at Vahn's profile, I knew that he was the right guy. He went over and beyond the standard education required for a home inspector combined with the work experience. Just like his website, the first contact on site was very pleasant and his explanations on site showed the depth of his knowledge which were over and beyond what you would expect. I was impressed to receive the final report only a few hours after the inspection. The report was well structured and easy to read thanks to precise pictures that I could relate to the detailed explanations that Vahn provided during the inspection. If you're thinking of using his services, you won't be disappointed. Thanks Vahn.

    Thanks for your review Didier. Sounds like you did your "homework" before choosing your home inspector. I wish more people would do their do diligence before choosing a home inspector. It is currently an unregulated profession in Ontario. Inspection fees and inspector qualifications vary greatly. It's all "buyer beware".     Home Inspection -

    Thank you very much for the report. We were very impressed with your professionalism and quality of the report. I showed it to a few friends and they too mentioned that they had never seen a inspection report as thorough and with so many diagrams and pictures. I can assure you that I will be referring Solex Group to our friends who are in the housing market.

    Thanks for the feedback Hamid. The reporting system I use is considered to be one of the best in the industry by many professionals. It's not cheap, but the quality is night and day compared to the paper-based reporting systems out there. Who wants to read someone's bad hand writing? Who wants to look over check marked boxes and pages of text with no photos to refer to in the body of the report? My clients love the many diagrams that I plug into each report to help explain common home issues better. Glad you you were satisfied with my service Hamid.     Home Inspection

    Vahn Balabanian did our home inspection. He was extremely knowledgeable and offered lots of practical advice. Vahn provided us with an extensive and detailed inspection report with lots of information to help us maintain our new property. We will also hire him to do our energy efficiency audit later on.

    Home Inspection

    We have just purchased the first house in our life. This guy was punctual and, even more, he had to come twice as the first appointment had to be rescheduled. At the end of the home ispection, he explained his findings clearly and objectively, emphasizing the main points and giving us possible solutions. Moreover, he had enough patience to answer our dummies' questions. He sent us his detailed report with pictures of the house (taken during the inspection) 3 hours later, on email. In short, he is a professional and we definitely recommend him further to other people. We will contact him in future, if needed, too.

    Home Inspection and Energy Audit

    I chose Solex after reviewing Homestars, and all of my expectations were exceeded. Vahn arrived early, and had begun the home inspection before I arrived. He was very thorough, and pointed out a number of things that I had missed on my original viewing of the property. The report was very detailed, well presented, and provided photos of all the areas concerned, along with remedies and expected costs. As a result, I was able to renegotiate the selling price of the home. In addition, Vahn was able to come back the next week, and perform an Energy Audit which will provide me rebates on the improvements I am planning. I have dealt with a few home inspectors in the past, but Vahn outperformed them all! I will highly recommend his services to my friends.

    Prepurchasing home inspection

    Vahn, the Home Inspector who performed the home inspection for the property I bought in Brampton located at 179 Avondale Blvd. did an excellent job. He is very professional and extremely detailed. I am also very pleased with the house inspection report received from him in PDF format (straight to the subject, good pictures and sketches). Vahn did another inspection for me to another house back in July/09 for which I didn't have a chance to leave a review but all I can tell you is that was done in the very same professional manner. I will strongly recommend him to anybody I know that is looking to buy a house. Sincerely, Adrian Popa

    Home Inspection

    We needed to get a home inspection done for an offer we put on a home and Vahn got to the house a few mins earlier than scheduled. By the time we got there he already had the ladder set up and was inspecting the roof and exteriors of the building. Vahn was very knowledgeable and gave us explanations and recommendations as we walked through the house with him. I really liked his pdf report at the end of the day detailing the home inspection with photos and diagrams which helped us remember and understand what needs to be taken care of. I recommend Vahn highly.

    Home inspection

    Vahn is a very knowledgeable guy and did a great job with our home inspection. Since this was our first inspection, Vahn took the time to explain everything to us very clearly and gave us various maintenance tips throughout the process. I especially liked the PDF document he sent after the inspection which had pictures of the "issues" identified during the inspection and the related suggestions. Since I was facing a deadline for the home inspection, the most important thing for me was reliability - and Vahn arrived even earlier than the scheduled time of 8:30am. If you want a reliable and knowledgeable inspector, Vahn is a great choice. Highly recommended.

    home inspection

    Vahn was very professional, extremely knowledgeable and knew what he was doing. He did a home inspection for us and gave us a lot of insight into the structure of the house and other areas which we found extremely helpful. Vahn was very courteous and a pleasure to hang out with. His knowledge about homes is commendable and we would recommend him to a friend any day.
