Waterproofing (Outside)
CWG Inc. was referred to me by a friend who had previous work completed by them and was extremely satisfied. My story begins with a less than favorable home inspection... turning up higher then acceptable moisture readings in my basement. Selling a house is stressful enough, let alone being told that your driveway/side of house requires excavation. Things would take a turn for the better after Casey (from CWG) arrived. He assessed my situation with a calm demeanor and answering my numerous questions with professionalism. Within an hour of him being there, my mind was more at ease, I had a quote in hand and most importantly...his promise that the job would be completed in a timely manner. Casey was also sensitive to my house closing date and was able to squeeze me in ahead of schedule - this meant I had more time to concentrate on my impending move. His crew, lead by Steve were excellent and walked me through the entire process - going above and beyond by adding a second window well that wasn't on the quote....I can't say enough about these guys....clean-up was if they weren't even there. I would not hesitate to recommend Casey and City Wide Group to any friend or family member!

Waterproofing
I was referred to citywide group from a friend of mine. I am very grateful for having been referred to such an outstanding company. The crew was very knowledgeable and proud to work for citywide. I am happy to tell my friends and associates about citywide and what a positive experience I had with the work they did for me. Keep up the good work Citywide.

We had an awful leaky basement. The crew came on time, very considerate and price was competitive. Would recommend city wide 100 percent to anyone who has a water troubles! Thanks again citywide!
Was referred by a friend to city wide, the rep was very responsive and really took the time with me what needs to be done and so forth as this was my first time experiencing water damage! Would definitely recommend citywide! Thanks again!

Exterior Waterproofing
City Wide did not employ proper safety practices when digging around my home. They did not call before the dug (confirmed by Enbridge), nor put a safety fence around the trench. They hit our gas line creating total havoc. Finally, once finished, the basement still leaked and they had to redig everything. This job was a nightmare.

Hi Laura, We are saddened and sorry to hear that you did not have a pleasant experience with our company. We call in service locates for all service utilities on all waterproofing sites. Ontario1Call dispatches a third party "QX" and this is why you may have felt the absence of any Enbridge staff, as they are not responsible for conducting locates. Locates were in fact conducted, and recorded for your project. All of City Wide Group's excavations are fenced in with flexible orange fencing and/or caution tape, as per Ministry of Labor requirements, no metal fencing or hoarding is required for an excavation of this nature on your site. Unfortunately, even with service lines being marked, it is rare, but possible that a gas line may get struck while being dug by hand, and following excavation instructions from QX. We were contracted to waterproof two foundation walls. You had a leak re-occur near an area in where the waterproofing ended. We excavated this area and ensured there was no further issues, at no additional cost. Furthermore, we extended a discount, and vouchers as a token of goodwill, given the sour taste and any inconvenience caused by the gas line repair. We fell we made every effort possible to ensure you were accommodated, and compensated as best, and as fairly as possible. We have won the Consumers Choice Award for 19 years running as result of our highest level of customer service, if there is anything else we could have done, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Waterproofing
Every time there was a significant rainfall we had water coming in our basement. We called City Wide as they were highly recommended. We met with our project manager, Tony, and he discussed with us what needed to be done, gave us all the details. We appreciated how open and up front he was because it turned out we had major foundation issues! Tony assigned a great crew, they were very clean and completed the work quickly! Concrete driveway
We had an excellent experience from the time the quote was given to the completion of the job. The sales person was Tony and the contractor was also named Tony and both were extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. The job was started and finished as promised. The crew worked thru the hottest days in September. Thank you for a great job!!!

Exterior water proofing
I am very happy with the service I received from City Wide. They started the work as they promised, they were very clean and tidy and they had supervision at all times. They took care of the project from A to Z. Can't be any happier. The crew leader was George and the estimator was Casey. Thanks very much guys.

tuck pointing & basement waterproofing
We had an excellent experience from quote to completion of the job. We can't say enough about the quality of the tuck pointing, as our 90 year old house was in rough shape. The crew was meticulous about there attention to detail and it shows. The internal and external waterproofing was completed quickly and several storms since install have proved perfect results. Overall there work was fantastic and we would recommend them to anyone. The one small issue we had was the crew did not cleanup after themselves very well. We had cigarette butts and garbage left laying around at the end of each day. The final job clean up was poor as well.

weeping tile replacement
City Wide Group was just slightly above the 3 other quotes that I received for replacing weeping tile of one side of my bungalow due to a basement flood, after the winter thaw. It was worth it as they were very accommodating since the original date had to be changed a few times due to weather. They also included camera inspection of the remaining weeping tile and left the property clean. They even returned after the job was complete with extra soil at my request. Chris was always available and politely answered all my numerous questions. Highly recommend this company.

Exterior Foundation Waterproofing
We moved into a 60 year old house roughly a year and half ago, and upon gutting the basement we noticed lots of sweating on the block walls and even some water seepage. Relative humidity in the basement was around 65% prior to waterproofing. We knew we'd eventually have to get waterproofing done and decided to hire professionals, as it's not something we'd like to have done twice. I contacted two other companies before my wife and I decided to go with City Wide. Their website had an online chat which I used to make the initial enquiry. I was told by Aaron (online chat rep) that another representative would contact me via phone to discuss further. No more than 2 hours passed and my phone rang. Tony from City Wide called as a follow-up to my online enquiry. We chatted a bit and he offered to drop by the same night to take some measurements and describe their process. He showed up right on time the same night, took measurements, explained the process and said they could start as early at Monday morning. We signed, left a deposit, and waited for Monday to arrive. At exactly 8:30am on Monday my doorbell rang. It was Tony with a few colleagues, including George, the gentleman in charge of the crew. They walked me through the whole process, promised to keep the work area clean - including my neighbours property, and also promised to get the job done on time. I cannot stress how well mannered, clean, and professional Geroge's crew was. They dug the entire perimeter by hand, cleaned up the foundation walls, fixed all cracks and patched all gaps and holes with care. George kept me informed of any potential issues and offered suggestions on how to prevent future water problems. The job was completed on time. The work areas was cleared of all debris and scraps. The crew was friendly, approachable, and cared for the house. These guys take pride in what they do and they do it well! My suggestion to anyone considering waterproofing...give City Wide a call. You may pay a little more than some of the smaller guys, but you can go to bed at night knowing you have a 25 year warranty on the work completed.
