    Developed/finished walkout bungalow basement

We wanted to upgrade our paint in the basement after a few years of living in a new house. The builder grade paint was just awful. We met with University First Class Painters to discuss the job and obtain a quote. We then booked a time to get it done. We left for work one day and came home to a painted basement. It looks so much fresher and cleaner. They were professional, timely and did an overall great job. I will go back to them for future painting needs.

    Exterior house painting

Bennett and his team worked hard and thoroughly to ensure the painting was done right so that we would have good curb appeal for our house sale. Bennett came back after the job was completed to make sure we were happy and to ensure we didn't have any concerns. Thanks, Bennett!

    Exterior Painting

We hired this company to paint the exterior of our house. Extra work included, removing old caulking and re-caulking of all joints. We now have twice as many leaks before the project was started. This was noticed recently after the rainy season when large amounts of water was discovered on the main floor and the crawl space. The instructions on the paint container stated that all surfaces were to be chased with a roller and they refused to carry out this procedure. This showed up as blotches and shiny spots after the paint had dried. They did not honour the original quotation for cost overruns. The cost overruns were not approved prior to the work being done.

    Painting

Well, the paint stuck to the building, paid for the work, and have been trying to get the bill (tax purposes) for the last 3 weeks, Adam keeps making all these lame excuses. Not Happy

    Exterior painting

I chose this company becase I was guaranteed 100% customer satisfaction. In the contract this company was to power wash all areas, scrape, prime, paint all door frames, windows, siding. On the first day two young students came with no experience, did not powerwash- just started scraping a few areas..did not prime scraped areas...then painted and did a horrible job. After two coats of paint it was cracking and peeling in many areas. i came home from work and saw the horrible job and contacted the manager. I was assured by the manager he would return with another painter to do a proper job. They did do an ok job scraping and painting, but then applied the bright white caulking very messy after the painting! The caulking is all going to have to be redone as it has gaps and was done over top the old caulking.. Then they forgot to do the windows which are peeling, cracked, need to be caulked! This has been a very stressful and horrible project. We are now doing the windows ourselves, as well as all the caulking and touchups. I am now dealing with the regional manager about this. I don't know the quality of work this company does elsewhere, but I would not recommend this company.

    exterior painting

My experience of the Vancouver BC franchise, work done 2014; Sash windows painted shut, dirt on supposedly pressure washed walls painted over, areas not immediately visible not painted, flaking paint not properly scraped then painted over, trim edges not painted to match face, some paint already bubbling, rubbish (including empty cans) left for me to dispose of, and not cheap. As my renovation continues new problems keep coming to light.and I fully expect to have much of the work redone in the near future, this time by carefully chosen professionals.

    Interioir

We hired University First Class last summer to complete an interior job. There were paint splatters, paint drips and a complete mess every day. The work took twice as long as their estimate and we ended up having to cleaning up after they left. The painter was unreliable and always late. He lacked training our painted over top of the sanding dust and left paint drips to dry on surfaces. We were left us with a bigger project to fix than what we started with. I would not recommend University First Class to anyone.

    Painted house

BUYER BEWARE! They market themselves as professional but less than amateur work. They ruined our Duradek with over spray and then rubbed the finish off when trying to clean it! No drop sheets or ground prep done, DESPITE saying they would in the contract. On top of that they are not willing to repair it back to the condition before they wrecked it! They have no experience and don’t care. They spray everything, our plants were covered as well, again no ground prep. Don’t engage them and spend the extra little bit and get real painters. They don’t manage the job and allot way too few hours which means they rush through and are not thorough.

    University First Class Painters

The price was great, the work was excellent, and the manager was very professional. They completed the painting of the exterior of our house in the amount of time quoted, and the painters did not mind my questions throughout. They have an excellent eye for detail and were able to correct existing, minor imperfections which I had previously not noticed myself, making a big difference on the overall appearance of my home. I'm very pleased with their work and I will be recommending this team to my friends and colleagues.
