When we bought our house, the AC unit had been attached to the outside wall with a bracket and as a result the unit was very noisy when the AC was on. We simply needed to have it detached from the wall and put on a pad on the ground. Richard and his colleague did this job perfectly and even did some basic maintenance to our unit to ensure it was working optimally and wouldn't make any additional noise. They were punctual, very professional and extremely pleasant. I was impressed by their customer service and would not hesitate to call them in the future for any other HVAC-related service.

My Senior Parents AC went out and I was worried the hot few days would be difficult for them, I called 2 HVAC companies, but had to leave a message, so I called CoreTemp, Richard answered right away, and was there the next day to quote. He even got their 27 year old AC unit running until he could install the new one 3 days later. His work is great, no mess at all. He really cared about my parents, and my Mom jus luvs him !! I highly recommend Richard and CoreTemp !!

DE shut of my furnace in coldest Feb for surface rust spots; scrambled for quotes and was most confident with Richard's proposals and straight answers to my questions. He installed my furnace (a beaut!) and came back today to finish AC & flushed my tankless heater. You won't go wrong with Richard; I already recommended Coretemp to my friends...JT

This is the first time that we have dealt with Coretemp and it was a refreshing experience. Richard was here within 1/2hour of speaking with him. He diagnosed the problem right away, he explained what needed to be done and also educated us at the same time. Richard was very pleasant, honest and knowledgable. We'd already interviewed representatives from 3 other companies, but when Richard from Core-Temp arrived, we knew he was "the one." He was so obviously smart, competent, and straightforward. He gave us information about options we might consider, but didn't waste our time or his trying to upsell us on features we didn't need. In the end, due to time constraints (and the fact that we were without a working furnace at the approach of winter) he sold us the furnace and arranged for his friend to do the installation. We were totally happy with the work of both, and would not hesitate to contact them again when we upgrade our air conditioner in a few years' time. (See other review; approximated cost reflects combined cost.) Oh, and almost forgot -- there was a provincial rebate offer for new, energy-efficient furnaces. We didn't have the serial number for the old furnace, which we had been removed a few weeks before. We didn't think we'd be able to qualify -- but we found out a couple months later that Richard had successfully filed for us! Needless to say, we were extra grateful.

Our furnace has really balanced out the temperature on all 3 levels in our home. Better still, the service from Richard has been fantastic. He lives in our neighbourhood and responds quickly to any concerns and issues. Thanks richard

I called Richard after a few failed attempts to get someone out to help us with our furnace. It was -30 degrees, and we had a new born in the house (along with a two year old). We were trying to decide if we were getting the furnace fixed, or getting a hotel for the night. All of Richard's workers were unavailable, but in describing my issue, Richard offered to look at the furnace over video conference. My furnace was not a typical model, and could not easily be accessed. A second panel needed looking at, and Richard asked me to call him back. While I was unsuccessfully rooting through my tools to see if I could open the panel, Richard called back saying he was on his way himself. Not only did he go above and beyond trying to help me, he walked me through some tips and troubleshooting methods for the future, as well as charging me a very reasonable rate (Richard: I would have paid anything at that point, thank you for not making me). All of this while Frozen ironically played on the T.V. upstairs. I would without a doubt and enthusiastically recommend CoreTemp to anyone in need, and have already recommended them to my neighbour should they run into the same issues this winter.
