    Furnace

    Awesome! --- literally one of the best experiences from a quality and customer service point of view. Thought we would be without heat for the day during a ridiculous winter. Richard took care of the problem.

    Heating

    We woke up on Family Day to find that the heating in our home was not working. Despite it being Family Day, Richard was at your home helping us resolve the issue within 30 minutes. Richard was extremely knowledgeable, efficient and friendly... he was able to fix our problem shortly thereafter! We highly recommend him.

    Furnace Issues

    I met Richard, owner of CoreTemp, close to 10 years ago when our furnace needed a check up before winter set in. At the time, he had just established his company. Since then, we have called him every single time we've had furnace or a/c issues. We won't even bother calling anyone else. Richard is extremely knowledgeable. He clearly loves what he does, knows the ins-and-outs of different makes/models, and explains what's wrong and how to fix it. Today, I called him because the furnace's collection box was making strange, loud noises. He told me how much a service visit would cost, and gave me a few diy recommendations to try before I book a time with him. His suggestions were easy to follow and worked. The box had been moved, and adjusting it was all that it needed. I really appreciated the fact that he gave me the option of saving some money for something that was so quick and easy to fix.

    Furnace repair

    Richard not only troubleshooted and got my furnace working on the phone when I cold-called him for help, he came out the next day and was able to get it working permanently- diagnosing the problem and making the fixes in a cost effective way. He advised me how to keep it going in case of any other trouble, and it did work itself out. I was happy with his service.

    Furnace replacement

    My furnace started making loud noises and I had 2 companies come to take a look at it, Richard was the 2nd. He confirmed the first opinion, and quoted us a good price on a new furnace. He installed the furnace very quickly the next day. Now our house is warm and the heat is better spread out, no more freezing cold in some rooms and hot in others. Wi-fi thermostat's great, and the furnace is so quiet I don't even notice it. So far very good experience with Richard.

    New Furnace

    We installed a new furnace to a 100 year old home that we just purchased. I could not be there when Richard arrived to install - but I left a key and he had the job done by the time I arrived. He explained the install and how the unit functions. Richard is very trustworthy, reliable and competent. I am having him back in the spring to replace our air conditioner.

    Furnace repair

    I called Richard and immediately he was very helpful. He even came out on short notice on the weekend to repair our furnace. I liked his approach because there were two potential problems with our furnace. Rather than insisting that It must be the more expensive problem, he recommended fixing the least expensive problem first by replacing a component and sure enough he was right. I could have paid way more than was needed but his honesty saved me. Thanks Richard.

    furnace repair

    Called coretemp on a Sat. morning as my tenants furnace was not working. Richard was there in 1/2 hour and found a blockage and solved the problem and then checked out the entire system . Service call only no extras for rush service .This is the man to call. Richard also knows his business and in the Spring will have him back to correct installation mistakes and if I need service his card is in my file, Honest ,friendly neat, and through.

    Furnace venting

    Richard & Eric both performed a thorough assessment of my furnace, explained in concise terms what the root cause of my issues were and corrected the problem in quick time. Very professional and friendly service - Would recommend CoreTemp for anyone looking for great and competent service!

    Furnace repair

    We experienced problems with our furnace intermittently shutting off. We brought in 5 repair man who all offered different opinions about the problem and solution. Most of them recommending that we replace our 10 year old furnace. Only Richard took the time to carefully assess the problem and identified that the thermostat needed to be replaced. This simple solution not only solved the problem but has made the furnace run more efficiently. While we know at some point in the near future the furnace will need to replaced, Richard did not make an aggressive sales pitch like the other repairman who visited us. He was professional, honest and effective a finding a solution at a very reasonable cost. Richard was also very courteous and responded immediately when we contacted him late on a Friday afternoon. We were very impressed by Richard, we highly recommend him and if we have any future work, we will definitely seek his assistance.
