I like Richard's personal service. You always call him directly and he never makes you feel rushed, even when he is in the middle of a job. There is good and clear communication between him and his staff and the customer so there are never any surprises - they are always clear about Richard's schedule, pricing and what is necessary versus what is optional when it comes to what services or products you need. The sound jacket is a GENIUS invention! The gruesome noise of my old A/C unit was cut in half and I am appreciative. Richard does his job with integrity and vigor and I am glad to add him to the list of trusted professionals who help keep my home in tip top shape.

My outside A/C unit stopped working a few days ago, and it was almost impossible find somebody to come out (most were saying 1-2 weeks). Thankfully, we found Homestars and CoreTemp Heating and Air, and Richard and his apprentice came out only 2 days later. To keep a long story short, our townhouse is cooling down as we speak! It was a pleasure working with both Richard and his apprentice, and I would recommend this to anyone looking for solid service and a company you can trust. I will definitely be using CoreTemp Heating and Air again, but hopefully not anytime soon :) Cheers, Matt

Our AC unit was no longer producing cold air although the machine itself was running. Richard was available to come by the next day during the height of the Toronto heatwave, diagnosed the problem, fixed it and I had AC right away. He was in and out in approximately 1/2 hour. I appreciated his frankness, professionalism and knowledge. Highly recommend!

Richard took my call on the hottest day of the summer so far! He diagnosed and replaced the capacitor and cleaned my unit as well. It was up and running within 3 hours of my call and I am very grateful for his professionalism, knowledge and prompt service. I'd recommend him highly!

the day before the hottest day in july 2011 my 87 yr. old mothers air conditioner quit - i had used Richard to replace my furnace 3 yrs before and his work was outstanding. I called Ricahrd and he said he'd try and squeeze my mother in the next day. When i called my mother the following day one of Richards guys was already there and within 1 hour her air conditioning was up and running. I contacted Richard from CoreTemp to replace our home air conditioner. Not only was he extremely thorough and detailed, he also responded very quickly and provided fantastic service. I have now used him for my clients properties as well - and he has proven to be an outstanding supplier.

Great customer service and I'm not even a paying customer! I have spoken to Richard a few times over the last 24 hours about our leaking air conditioner, and since he's swamped because of the heat wave and can't come to our area until next week, he gave us excellent advice on how to fix it ourselves, as well as the name of a competitor he recommends in the event that we can't sort out the problem. All this when he answered the phone at nine o'clock at night! (and again today). Really appreciate his time and help and will use this company next time I need work done.

this is the second time we have used this company. Our air conditioner needs to be replaced soon. It is just a loud, obnoxious inefficient hunk of junk. However it needs to last a few more years. Richard has come out in a jiffy and corrected the issues we found with it. Never upsells us, and constantly tells us that there is life in the unit still. He also showed us simple fixes to stop it from being so loud. The first service call was to repair a leak and add more coolant. That was barely $200. Richard is extremely reasonable and a general nice guy. We will use him for any future business, including when we need to buy a new unit.

Very happy with CoreTemp's prompt and professional service. They came within a few hours of being called. Richard corrected problems created by another HVAC company (and even correctly diagnosed the issue over the phone). Thanks for excellent service!

Richard had knocked on our neighbourhood doors a couple of years ago to let us know of his services. When in a crisis I remembered him and his HVAC company. No air conditioner on one of the hottest summer days is not an option. I called Richard and he was travelling home with his family from the Zoo. He would be over in an hour. The day was saved!
