    Replacing broken/stripped shower handle

    We submitted a request for an estimate Sunday evening, after the cold water knob of our shower was broken off and a trip to the local hardware store proved we needed to contact a plumber. We contacted Mr. Rooter, and were given an appointment for the following day. They called in advance to confirm the appointment and time, and arrived within the time frame provided. Upon inspection, an estimate was provided for two options, and they were able to source the required part for our 50+ year home, and complete the repair the same day. A complete home inspection was subsequently offered at no added cost, and they highlighted any potential plumbing issues, or lack thereof. The plumber (and accompanying apprentice) were professional, knowledgeable, and explained the work being performed. In addition, they also wore shoe covers on the carpeting, and ensured the work was cleaned up afterwards. Worth mentioning, as we have had experiences where this is often taken for granted. We would certainly hire their services for any future needs.

    Plogged Drain

    We have used Mr. Rooter many times at our 100 year old home but it is the first time we have written a review. This time it was a plogged drain with no cleanout. Dave Moulten showed up on time in the worst freezing rain storm of the year. He was a very friendly East Coaster who explained everything in detail with the two possible scenarios. At first the two price options shocked me but with Mr. Rooter you get what you pay for. Dave was very nice, professional, polite to my 90 year old mom, put slippers on for the many trips back and forth to the truck, cleaned up after himself and offered a free inspection of the pipes. The office followed up with a phone call from the friendly receptionist to see if we were happy. All in all Mr. Rooter did a great job.

    Bathroom repairs

    Our experience was excellent. John was professional, knowledgable and polite. He explained everything well and made future recommendations. He fixed out toilet and shower stall. Two items that are very impt

    Once again, the professionals at Mr. Rooter have solved my issues

    This isn't the first time I have used Mr. Rooter, but the first time I have written a review. The technicians are professional, friendly and really know their craft, but the best way to describe them is tenacious. They all work really hard to get to the root of the problem (no pun intended) and leave no stone unturned, when looking for a solution. Phil, Dave, Seb, Ted, et al, do a great job, every time.

    Clogged drain under the basement floor

    The drain to the sewer was clogged under the basement floor resulting in laundry tub not draining. Mr. Rooter was able to get a plumber to my house within 2 hours of my call. Guy Gratton arrived on time and explained clearly the issue, the risks and how he would proceed. Within an hour, he cleared the drain. He also cleaned the work area. Guy Gratton is personable and very easy to deal with. I am fully satisfied by his work and Mr. Rooter's prompt respionse. John McCrea

    upstair drains

    Dave Moulton did an excellent job clearing the drain blockage and was very patient with his explanations about system issues including installation mistakes made seventy years ago when our house was built.

    Drain clearing and flushing.

    The response came in good order and the servicemen were courteous and efficient. There were a number of challenges in getting the job finished (weather, for the most part: snow plus exceedingly cold temperatures), but John was very pleasant to deal with, explained the work clearly, and did what he promised to do. Thank-you.

    Plumbing Camera Inspection and Drain Unclogging

    Great service by technician John K., who was very patient with all of our questions prior to starting the job and provided explanation of what might have caused the clog as well as recommendations on prevention measures.

    Hot Water Tank Replacement - Thanks, Curtis!

    We were very pleased with the dedicated and professional service provided by Curtis during recent multiple issues that began with the need to replace a leaking hot water tank. Curtis was knowledgeable, professional, patient, punctual and courteous with a very strong work ethic, always going above and beyond to ensure that the job was completed to our satisfaction.     Sewage pipe and sub-pump replacement in 100 year old home

    We had a cast iron sewage pipe, probably original to our 100 year old home, needing to be replaced. Jeremy came in on a Saturday and did a fantastic job of assessing the problem and getting the work done. It was a seamless job thanks to his skill, and I appreciated being left with a basement as clean as it was before Mr. Rooter came. They also replaced our sub-pump, and provided an assessment of our exposed piping in general. Hugely appreciated the congenial and professional service. Thank you!
