Foggy glass in my solarium picture window panes left me in a haze and prevented us from enjoying the beautiful view of our backyard. The company who built the solarium has long since gone out of business. Feeling frustrated, I did an internet search and found Andy from Solarium Repairs. After reading all the great reviews, I quickly knew I had found the right guy to fix this problem, even before I spoke with him. Speaking with Andy only reinforced my decision. When we met, Andy thoroughly explained what the problem was, showed me samples of the new and improved glass he was going to use, provided a fair quote and timeline. I booked the job with Andy and the result was fantastic. He detailed his work in photos, showed me the rotting wood that should never have been used in the first place, found an ant nest (which explained all the ants we were seeing in the spring but didn’t know where they were coming from) and overall, did a great job. There were extra charges due to some of the issues he found but Andy was totally fair and reasonable with the additional costs. Once the job was done, we were extremely happy. Until we heard a loud noise coming from the solarium and found 3 large cracks in one of the window panes. I was totally devastated and demoralized. I took photos and sent them to Andy. He responded right away and stopped by that very evening. He said this happens sometimes with glass and not to worry and that he would look after the repair. He immediately ordered a new pane of glass and put my mind at ease. Within 2 weeks, the problem was resolved. Andy took ownership and responsibility of the issue. My experience with Andy has been nothing but positive. His level of expertise was enough to convince me he was the right guy for the job. But his handling of the problem and honesty convinced me that he would be the right guy for any job. How often do you come across a guy like this? A heartfelt, “Thank You”, Andy for the great work. We found Solarium Repairs through Homestars. After having read all positive reviews, we contacted them in 2015 to get some work done in our crawl space under our sunroom. Andy was very busy then. This winter in February, one of our front vertical glass had cracked. We contacted Andy who obliged us to come take a look. Having gained confidence from his talk, we contracted him to replace all front glass windows which was a 3 days job. When Andy started work, he found that the main beam and the support post had collapsed due to rotten wood and carpenter ant damage. This was a shocking news to us both in terms of cost and the time its going to take to have it all fixed. Throughout the work Andy displayed amazing professionalism in explaining to us the extent of damage and the work he is going to perform. He was also very considerate in pricing the total repair. Though it was not cheap, we were fully satisfied with his work, especially his attention to detail and addressing every major/minor issue which came along the way. During the complete project pictures were taken at every step and documented. Andy with the help of Cory, his young assistant worked through the sweltering heat and humidity of June/July to get this major structural repair done in less than a month. Though we were dealing with Solarium repairs for the first time, we saw the dedication behind the work being performed and were confidant of the outcome. Its now 2 months since the job was complete and we had some heavy rains. We found no leaks. Thank you Andy for your excellent work. There are no words to express the honesty, dedication professionalism you displayed throughout this major repair project. We wish you all the very best.

I must say that Andy and Cory became friends. Good honest people that do there best to make sure that the repairs and corrections are done properly to eliminate any future problems. Although I would not call them the lowest priced contractor I would call them the best and well worth the money. I believe we will finally not have to worry about leaks and damage in our house because of the solarium. He has done a rebuilt to the solarium and made sure that everything was redone as good as possible. You truly get what you pay for with Andy thank you so much for relieving the stress because of a beautiful but bad built solarium which leaked from the beginning. Thank you for everything.

We fell in love with the solarium of our home which led us to buy this place but after the crazy winter, we realized that there were a few leaks happening. We called Andy and he quickly came to the rescue. He was really nice, attentive and followed-up. After the first visit, we realized that there were still leaks. Andy came back and re-patched the glass roof. It turned out the water was coming in from somewhere else further up the roof, so Andy came back again and did a water test and finally found the main issue. Thanks Andy! Hoping that the leaks are now done!

I had been looking for someone for info on a repair i needed when i happened to find this company. I was extremely surprised at how much andy lansdowne helped me! He went above and beyond what he needed to do as far as getting contact info etc. Give him a call..great guy!

Andy did a great job resealing our solarium - it had been leaking into our garage for years and no-one else was able to correct the underlying problem - we'd had it worked on three times previously in the twenty years we've had it and Andy is the only one who took the time to inspect it and explain everything to us. I highly recommend Andy and Solarium Repairs!!! We had some cracked windows in our Solarium, leaks and minor wood damage. Andy was very responsive, diagnosed the problem quickly, quoted the job, ordered new windows and scheduled the install promptly. He arrived and completed the job on time and on budget (no hidden after-the-fact costs). What more can you ask for?! He cleaned up daily and at the end of the job. i have a 35 plus years old greenhouse. andy has always helped me out with anything i have needed doing. broken windows ,door falling off, broken door handles. it doesn't matter how small the job he always will come down and fix it. i know he is very busy but he always squeezes me in. i would recommend him to anyone with greenhouse issues.
