Last summer I noticed our solarium floor had a lot carpenter ants' droppings. Given I didn't know any solarium repair contractors, I searched Home Star and found Andy of Solarium Repairs. Andy told me that the wooden foundation was rotten. It was a big job to replace the wood, panels and lower the deck to prevent future water damage to the wooden foundation. As it was a wet spring and summer last year, his jobs got back up. As he knows I wanted to repair the solarium before the winter, he helped me find Shane, another experienced solarium repair contractor, who used to work for Four Seasons Solarium. He reassured me that Shane is reputatble in the industry and properly insured. I trusted his advice and hired Shane. The whole repair took two weeks. We were very pleased with the quality of the work done by Shane and his crew and thanked Andy for his referral.

We had some issues with our Solarium windows (condensation) and lots of ants coming in during the summer months. One call to Solarium Repairs and Andy & his team were able to quickly determine the problems and provide effective solutions. His quote was very reasonable. Once the work was started, he stayed at our site until it was finished. The work was completed efficiently and we have not experienced any issues since. We had two solarium heat mirror type windows in our kitchen & dining room that were beginning to leak. When we found Andy & his company his expertise was invaluable. Found out that Andy was backed up with work this spring due to more rain than usual. We are so pleased he could now fit us in. Our roof had an irritating minor leak over the past few years. People would come and look but never got back to us. He is very professional and pleasant to have around - not easy to find in this day and age. We have every confidence in his ability. Would recommend strongly and, if he's busy, WAIT!!

Our 30 yr. old solarium roof was replaced with a new material which I like very much. We discovered some small leaks and this was repaired last week and very well done. We have since had a big rain and it was fine. thank you Andy and son.

Andy and Hayden was very professional and friendly. They replaced the glass for my solarium in 4 days. When it was raining, they used a tarp to cover to make sure rain doesn't get inside.

Andy was very responsive when I called for help to repair a leak in my sunroom roof. He delivered on expectations and most of all he had a very cheerful and generous attitude. I recommend him highly.

I thought that I would have to tear down my solarium and rebuild but Andy came in 2012 and revamp the whole thing. I had had another company replaced some of the fogged glass years earlier and it had leaked ever since. If I was out shopping and it rained I would rush home to find the window sills and oak floor covered in water. The night after Andy finished the work we had a thunderous downpour and I never once thought to get our of bed and check. In the morning - sure enough, everything was bone dry. He showed such professionalism and attention to detail I instinctively knew the job was done right and all these years later I still have never had any water problems. More recently the property next door was sold and the large tree shading my solarium was cut down. I again called Andy - wouldn't think of calling anyone else. He replaced the roof glass with Heat Mirror 22, so now I no longer feel like a bug under a magnifying glass. Andy as an independent, never rushes any job because he's been "booked" into another job by some large company's schedule. He takes the time needed to do the job right from start to finish. All work is done to code, unlike the first company who replaced my fogged ceiling with glass so thin it could have been used for picture frames, one small branch hitting could have been disastrous (I had no idea until Andy showed me what was up there). Glad to see his son has joined the business, he's learning from the best!

We have been dealing with Andy for about 5 years as he has been maintaining our 25 year old solarium. Last year we decided to replace all of the glass since the seals in many of the panels had gone. Andy and his son did a great job and they worked very well as a team. Andy recommended that we use "Heat Mirror 22" glass for the roof area..... it was more expensive but we decided to go with his recommendation and are very pleased with the outcome. Our solarium is exposed to the afternoon sun and previously we would not even think of using it in the summer until the sun went down. This summer we have used it on some of the hottest days and it has been very comfortable......too humid to sit outside but the solarium with the ceiling fan going has been great. I attribute this to the Heat Mirror glass. Also we found last winter that we could still use the solarium on a sunny afternoon and it was very comfortable.
