    Replace Roof Shingle

    Royal York Roofing company was a pleasant company to work with from start to finish. The company replied the next day after my initial online request to schedule for an estimator to come by. The estimator showed up ahead of schedule and was able to explain different qualities of roofing and shingles options available to me, which is great. One great thing about the company was they can get multiple jobs done at once including attic insulation and replacement of kitchen/bathroom exhausted ducts. As with any other home renovation projects, the work always came with surprises such as the discontinued chosen colour shingle , additional of steel plate around the roof edge to cover the gap, lack of ventilation intakes, and number of plywoods that needed to be replaced. Each time Pavel from Royal York was able to clearly explained the situation to me and let me know the pro and con of each options for me to make the decision to proceed or not. The crew working on site showed up on time each day and worked efficiently and treated customers with respect, and clean up at end of each day. Although the job took 3 days to complete, the crew came back as promised a couple days later as promised to finish last minor remaining work. It is definitely a pleasure to work with a company that is transparent, keep communications open with customer, and deliver what is agreed or promised.

    Whole Roof replacement shingle and flat roof

    Royal York Roofing was prompt when called to make an estimate. They minimized customer/contractor face to face contact during this process due to the COVID pandemic. Pavel and his team replaced my entire roof in a timely manner. His crew did an excellent job and pointed out helpful items that needed addressing. Pavel was very practical and cost effective when suggesting solutions. They took the time to be neat and tidy and to ensure their work was done properly. Roman (one of the roofers) was very kind to share pictures with me of the work progress and finished roof. He obviously takes pride in the work he does.

    Quoting for a job

    Scheduled an onsite assessment/quote at one of my properties. Waiting 1.5 hours. No show. Called back for an update but scheduler had to email the team and still a no show. I'd like to provide an update. Estimator called and I missed it. They had come anyway and did the survey and estimate. I received the quote the very next day and an email follow up to my concerns.

    Roofing a Victorian

    The best company I’ve ever worked with! So professional, detail oriented with old-school customer service - genuine care and approach. I used this company back in 2011/2012 and they have been stuck in my mind because they set the bar high! I have yet to find even a contractor this meticulous and easy to work with as this company was! For the initial consultation/quote they sent out a engineer to assess the scope of the work! Since this experience I have yet to find the level of skill and expertise as this company offers!

    Roofing project

    Royal York Roofing did a very professional job on a garage roofing job. Despite just coming out of the COVID emergency restrictions, Royal York was very easy to work with. Pricing was very competitive compared to two other quotes. Prompt, polite, professional and minimally disruptive. Clean up was spotless. Customer service was excellent. Managed a difficult neighbour very well. They came back to take off a left over capping shingle promptly. Highly recommended!

    New Roof

    Punctual service, answered my questions, explained what needed to be done, tidied up when finished! I was totally satisfied with the work and the communication. Also pointed out an issue (soffits) that I should deal with.

    New roof ....then it rained...:(

    I have done a few roofs and I have never experienced such a professional company as Royal York. The crew was polite and thoughtful. From the start to finish, I am impressed, I will use them again and recommend to anyone looking for an honest roofing company. And then it rained.....stay tuned for flashing update Sub par

    Highly skilled roofing contractor

    Was facing a difficult roof construction. Company was recommended to me by a reputable builder from Toronto. Pre construction advise was very valuable to achieve a sound roof envelope. The transition result was flawless. Highly Recommending this roofing company for their knowlege and skill sets.

    Unbelievable service , and honesty. The guys very quick and professional, fixed the issue In record time in the hottest summer day. Will use them always. Very happy to have found them.

    Cedar shake roof with copper fittings

    I contracted Royal York Roofing to replace my existing standard roof shingles with cedar shake and copper fixtures replacement. Right from meeting the sales rep until the final, the service was excellent. They were very detailed and addressed every of our specific concerns quickly and professionally through out the duration of the job. We are quite happy with the results and would heartily recommended Royal York Roofing especially if you are considering a cedar shake roof replacement.
