    Cellular Shades

    Flavio was very helpful and always available to answer my questions throughout the entire process. The installer John was fantastic and made sure that everything was perfect. One of the blinds was defective from the manufacturer and I was impressed with how fast Flavio and John had the problem rectified.

    Window coverings

    Flavio was amazing to work with and has the best quality in blinds and roll up window coverings compared to other markets. We loved the simplicity and convenience the installer was also amazing. Quick install and no mess would definitely recommend to family and friends!!!

    Window Shutters and Blinds

    We were very happy with the service provided by Flavio. After finalizing our quote, he sent his installer, Serge to do the measurements. Serge was very professional and provided us great advice on the style of shutters we should use (in terms of splitting the window into two shutters versus one large shutter. The installation was fast, but one small hiccup resulting him having to come back, but he did so promptly and around our schedule. Very accommodating! We recommend going to Pro-Tech - they were price competitive and did a great job.

    Window Shutters

    We shopped around for a while before we came upon Pro-Tech and we could not be happier with the results. They provide us with a competitive quote but it was their professionalism and workmanship in installing the shutters that made them stand out the most. Our windows look great and we get a lot of comments from guests when they come over.

    Shutters throughout house

    We found this company and a couple of others through Homestars. After contacting everyone and having a few in to see our house and finalize their quote, we selected Pro-Tech. They have a very nice product (we did see marginally better, but for over $1000 more) and a very reasonable price, but it was really the service that made the experience so great. Flavio was very helpful, responded to inquiries with lightning speed, and above all - honest. Unlike other companies, his original quote via e-mail didn't change after visiting our home. At the time, he promised us that his installer, Serge, was fantastic. We can honestly say that he actually _undersold_ what a consummate professional and perfectionist Serge is. We have a 120 year-old home with some not particularly perfect straight window frames. Serge calmly and with the patience of a saint, made every window look fantastic. We highly recommend Pro-Tech and thank Flavio and Serge for the great work.

    Faux Wood Blinds

    I would just like to thank Flavio for the wonderful service he provided me in helping me chose the blinds that were right for me. I got 3 other quotes before I contacted Flavio so I could compare and the quotes I recieved didn't compare to what I got at Pro Tech Window coverings. Flavio was very punctual in returing my phone calls and went above and beyond in answering all the questions I had. I am very happy with my purchase and would defiently recommend Pro Tech Window Coverings to anyone looking for blinds.

    Window Shutters

    We wanted to update our home and I have always loved the look of shutters. We saw Pro-Tech on Home Stars and decided to give it a try. Flavio was wonderful! He was knowledgeable, flexible, reasonable, and met our tight deadlines! We are very very pleased with the workmanship and receive compliments every time we have people over. Would highly recommend Pro-Tech.

    Shutters in Master Bedroom

    Flavio and Serge came through again! This is the second time I have used Pro-Tech. The first time was for shutters in our entire main floor, and this time was for two large windows in our Master Bedroom. Great service, great price, great product and great installation. I highly recommend this company. Thanks for everything Flavio & Serge!

    Living Room and Bedroom

    My experience with Pro-tech Window coverings was wonderful. Flavio was knowledgable about the available products and had plenty of helpful advice in choosing our blinds. Flavio was friendly, professional and always available to answer questions. The product choices are affordable and look GREAT in my home. I would highly recommend Pro-tech Window Coverings for anyone's household blind needs.

    Eclipse shutters for whole house

    We contacted Flavio beginning of Feb of 2011 and by end of Feb we made up my mind to hire him to do the job. Flavio seemed like a nice honest guy. Doug, Flavio's installer came to measure our windows shortly and ordered it after. It took a tad bit longer than expected to come in but that was ok. On day of install Doug installed but didn't want to answer any of the questions/concerns we had. 3 of the shutters didn't fit right and was dragging on the window ledge. We've asked him why it would do that and he insisted it was because we didn't use the magnets and wanted the tracks instead. It was difficult to explain to him so we said why don't you walk upstairs with us so we can show you. He refused and said call Flavio. Which we did while he cleared out the boxes back to his car. As we were trying to contact Flavio, Doug shouted up ok I'm done here and I'm leaving. Since we haven't paid him the rest of the money I wasn't too concern with him leaving. Flavio returned our call and said he will drop by to see what is wrong. When he came and we showed him what was wrong he got a bit upset at how Doug didn't fix this problem as it was an easy fix for one of the windows. As for the other two we might have to change to magnets if adjusting doesn't fit or we might have to cut the shutter down. Either way Flavio's customer service at that time was great and reassured us that he will make us happy. OK so here is where it got nasty. Doug called to schedule an appointment to come fix the shutters but he was fairly rude and made comments such as how we are not accommodating on time and inconsiderate. We stated clearly we don't want to have to take time off work to do this and our weekends are available. We had a hunch he wanted to do this quickly since we haven't paid the rest of the money yet. He sched an appointment with us and showed up but he wasn't happy to be there which I can understand as who wants to redo their work but it is very unprofessional to show us that. He proceeded to our master bed and dumped his tools on our bed. His drill was dusty so he was asked nicely if he mind putting his tool on the floor instead. He shot back with a comment saying is there anything else I'm doing wrong? It was truly uncomfortable the whole time as he would be saying oh I will never be home and how its so late. He installed magnet for one shutter but it was not flush to the shutter and hitting on the window stil panel but he didn't want to look at it after he was done. At the end he did redo that part since we insist he take a look at it and he did drill the magnet so it was flush to the shutter. Overall we were very upset at the service we got so we contacted Flavio to complain. He said he will talk to Doug about it and get back to us. That was march 23 and it is now May 11. Still have not heard from him as of today.

    Hi Amy, I would like to apologize as I agree that Doug was very rude during your whole install. Your also correct that I did not contact you to follow up. My company has ZERO tolerance for lack of customer service and rudeness. Doug had some major person issues during that time but is not an excuse at all. Your job was the last install that Doug has done for this company. He was terminated the next week. As you can notice from all my other reviews that my installer and myself generally have immaculate customer service from start to end of all jobs. I am deeply sorry to you and your husband for this Amy. Please let me know via email or call me to see what I may do to compensate this bad taste in your mouth. I'm looking forward to hearing from you to resolve this in a professional manor. Flavio Ferrara
