    New Roof

    I was referred by a friend to this company and were very impressed from the start. I met with the estimator and he answered many of my questions before I even had a chance to ask them. I mentioned that we were having issues with the eavestroughs and instead of trying to tell me that I needed to replace eaves too (which I was prepared for) he said that installing a new drip edge, which is standard with a new roof, would fix the problem. Very impressed with the honesty. The crew arrived at 7:30 am and I met with the foreman who was very respectful and answered my questions. There must have been 7 guys on the crew and they had the roof and detached garage done, everything cleaned up and were gone before I got home from work at 5pm. You would never even know they had been there. No one called me until the afternoon the next day for payment and they were very pleasant and asked if I had any questions or concerns. I'm very happy with the company and the new roof and would definitely recommend to others.

    Leaking Skylight Inspection / Repair

    I had some water dripping from our skylight so I had Done Right Roofing come out to do an inspection and estimate. The repair guy that came was quite courteous and knowledgeable, and he was able to give me an estimate. The repair was also completed at the same visit as the repair guy had some time to do it. I was quite happy with the service from Done Right Roofing. Hopefully this repair will prevent further problems.

    reroof from hail

    How hard is it to make sure the nails are flush with the shingles? The shingles laid by the guys on the garage section were flat however the rest of the roof was lumpy from nails sticking up a quarter inch or less. I called Done right and their followup guy came out for an hour or two and banged in the worst of them. But I spent two afternoons after that lifting shingles and banging down about another 150 nails. About 20 nailheads had broken thru the shingles where I had to apply silicone over the holes. I have had two previous roof jobs on this house and this workmanship was the most shoddy I have seen. As part of their 'quality assurance program" a project manager came back out to inspect the final condition of the roof and I had done an excellent job. As the company points out below, the plethora of high ratings by others suggests that this poor work is atypical. So assuming I was just unlucky, I have raised the rating to a 6.

    shingles and eaves

    We were really impressed with the quality of work from the crews and the customer service from the office staff. They kept us notified of any appointment changes (due to weather) ahead of time and cleaned up after themselves in the yard. Highly recommend them. The roof looks great!

    Roof Replacement

    I used this company because they came very highly recommended from a good friend who had recently had her roof replaced from them also. From start to finish the process with Done Right was practically flawless. It started with Jason who did the initial inspection and estimate and he was so pleasant and knowledgeable that we liked the company immediately. The communication with the office staff was excellent and they passed on all of our requests to the crew. The crew was excellent, Chris the foreman was awesome to deal with, and they cleaned up everything and left our property almost spotless. The price was extremely reasonable and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

    Ice Damming Concerns

    I had ice damming issues last winter. Naturally I thought there might be an issue not only in the eavestroughing but in the roofing as well. However, after closer inspection of Allen of Done Right Roofing he recommended a simple solution to the ice damming problem that would neither involve repair or re-installation of eavestrough or roofing. Use heating wires. Apparently, my issues are not that bad and could be mitigated by running heating wires. It was such a relief as he went on to explain about ice damming issues and in my case what to do to fix it. While other contractors might suggest fixing the roof or anything just to get a business, Allen on the other hand suggested a solution that I can do on my own and not have to spend anything on contractors. I’m really appreciative of that kind of honesty that doesn’t come often these days. Thank you Allen and Done Right Roofing!

    Reroofing

    The service we received from Done Right was exceptional from the first contact for a quote to the completion of the work. They are very responsive and attention to detail is exceptional. Provided a project time table which was pretty much followed within Done Right's control (i.e. except weather). The install crew was fantastic and they cleaned the site daily and when finished didn't leave any materials. To that point 2 of the installers were actually laying on our street looking for stray nails. Our neighbours comment on the work and the professionalism of the crew. It was a pleasure to deal with everyone involved with Done Right.

    Garage Roofing

    We are return customers with Done Right Roofing. They did our house roof a few years ago and were pleased with the work they did. They showed up when they said they would and were quick and efficient while here. Small repairs covered by warranty were done quickly and on time.

    Roof replacement

    Very quick and efficient strip of old roof and placement of new shingles. All workers polite and good clean up after. Office staff easy to work with and really wanted my business.

    Service

    Wish every contractor is like them in Calgary. Arrive at all appointments on time. Roofing staffs came in at 8:00am, they were done by 12:00pm. Things were done properly and professionally. When I saw my neighbors' roofing project dragged on for days, I felt sorry for them. I had a question about the job, it was answered promptly by the office staff followed up the field staff. They finished the job and you can still find them. Highly recommended.
