They charge u extra for every thing they do , staff is very rude never answer your phone calls and emails , Never ever give them prepaid authorisation as they will charge u extra without informing u ,

We hired Hire The Gardner North York West for snow removal. What a mistake. We hardly had any snow this winter and on the one day in March when they should have been here to remove the snow they didn't bother to show up nor provide a response to my inquiry as to when we might expect Them. The owner did send a generic email stating he would be here within a few hours since the storm was so terrible that it was taking its toll on his equipment and personnel!! How could a snow removal company that barely needed to remove snow this winter have experienced such hardship?? To make matters worse my complaint to the head office was ignored. BEWARE. DONT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID!

Very disappointing service. Completely unreliable, they are happy to take your money but will not arrive in a timely matter to clear snow. They do not answer phone calls. Unprofessional. Would not recommend and will never use again.

I wish I did believe all the other negative reviews when I first hired because they are actually all real from own my experience. I hired The Gardener North York West, and they don't even show up for snow removal service that you pay for. The owner Brandon would insist that he personally came but he really didn't, and then they blamed it on the wind that blew the snow back. Wasn't even believable. All of his excuses and stories don't add up. When I complained then he would say he would send someone, but nobody came either. I had picture evidence that they didn't come which they tried to dodge from addressing. For a month of requesting communication, they don't bother to reply to emails (9), phone calls (10+). But they were happy to take your calls for payments though, and they would not refund it when things go wrong. So glad my credit card on their record just happened to expire, so they weren't able to take payment from me for service they didn't do. The operators on their phone lines are useless, they are just hired to pass messages, and they escalated my calls 3 times to no result. This company is totally unreliable and lack of business integrity. Don't hire Brandon of The Gardener North York West.

Would not recommend Milton HireTheGardener. Have always used this company. In Oakville the provider is the best. Paid for snow service this year, and did not even turn up once. Just maybe too big and too many customers. Have requested stop to their snow and yard service. Will look for a smaller personalized provider who can service promptly. Will definitely not recommend!!

Please do not hire the gardener. We purchased the fertilizer program back in early March. They have only been at our property ONCE in early May. It is now almost July and getting billed every month. The franchise owner does not return calls / communicates anything especially when we have been calling many times to find out when the next visit would be. Just before canceling, we gave him the opportunity to rectify the situation ( 1 week) and he still did not bother to show or call. Talk about customer service! Be ware especially the Vaughan area

We are seniors that can no longer manage the snow clearing of our driveway. Scarborough-South HireTheGardner was contracted to perform this service. On two occasions they either did not plow, or were so late that my neighbour cleared the snow for us. I would not recommend their service.

The Gardner seems to not have sufficient staff to handle their contracts. Their contract states that from November 1, they will clear any snow accumulation more than 3 cm. For the large snow fall of the season on Christmas eve of 2020, they did not show up at all. They sent an email the next day saying that they will clear the snow on the 25th. We had to clear the massive snow on the driveway and sidewalk. They came late on the 25th and only cleared the driveway. By the morning of the 26th, there was a large accumulation that we had to clear by ourselves. They sent another email saying that they will only show up on the evening of the 26th. We have not paid The Gardner to show up when they feel like it but to clear any snow more than 3 cm. We left them a voice message and sent them many emails but without response. We had similar issues with their lawn mowing service. We do not recommend The Gardner to anyone.

We paid for snow removal services and the state they left my driveway in was absolutely absurd. They never responded to us to fix the problem. Yes this picture was taken AFTER snow removal, and that huge pile of snow is my sidewalk and driveway. I am cancelling the rest of the season and fully expect a refund for this "work".
