We had some concerns due to a water leak about possible mould. We gave Templar a call and had Robert come by. His professionalism was great and he walked us through both an inspection and the process of analysis. We were happy with the service and the price. Anyone who has mould concerns should give these guys a call.

This company was both extremely professional and reassuringly personal. They answered questions, gave detailed explanations and were prompt without being pushy. The job was carefully and thoroughly done, and came in below the quote that was given.

I am a general contractor and have used Templar for a number of jobs Recently, they removed asbestos floor tile from a basement before we began demolition. We found asbestos within our cold air ductwork. How it got there, I have no idea. I found Robert through Homestars. I was immediately impressed by his responsiveness and honesty. The team he brought in (Warren and Dave) were top notch. They were able to patiently answer all of my questions and ensure I was happy with the job before they left. Templar came, removed my vermiculite through the roof, sprayed and re installed r-50 value installation the next day. They also performed an air test to prove the successful removal of asbestos. Incredibly happy. Fast, with friendly staff.

Robert came onsite to look at what I though was a serious mold issue that was going to cost me thousands of dollars. He did a thorough inspection, reviewed the air quality results I had and advised me that I didn't have a mold problem and I would be wasting my money to have someone remove the old shevling. I was planning on removing some stucco from my walls and ceiling in the basement. After reading some articles online, I found out that homes built in the 1970s could have asbestos in the stucco. I read good reviews for Templar on this site and sent them an email. Robert called me back immediately and set up an appointment to collect some samples. He was very accommodating to my schedule and was able to come on the weekend. After the analysis was complete, he called me up to discuss the results. It contained ~10% asbestos. While I did not have the money at the time to remove it, he gave me the peace of mind stating that unless the stucco was disturbed, it was not a concern. Robert never tried pushy/scare tactics to try to get my business for removal, which I really liked. A year later, I was in a better financial situation to have it professionally removed. I called up Robert and he (again) was very accommodating to come to my house on the weekend to provide me a quote. Two weeks later, Templar’s removal team (Warren et al.) was able to remove all the stucco from my basement. I was extremely happy with how Warren and his team were able to perform the work within the timeframe quoted and that he kept me informed during the entire process (as I was at work while the removal was happening). I am very happy with the work performed, price, and experience dealing with Templar. I highly recommend the company to other who are looking at dealing with asbestos removal. I found Templar through HomeStars and was immediately impressed with their great reviews. After contacting a few other companies, Robert was the easiest to get in touch with and very accommodating when setting up a site visit to check out the asbestos on the pipes in the basement. He also provided a very reasonable price for the work. We were able to set up a time to do the work the following week. Warren did an excellent job on the actual removal. The area was contained, asbestos removed and disposed of, and the entire area Hepa Vacuumed in the time specified. Will definitely recommend Templar to any future clients looking for asbestos removal. Great experience.

The removal of the vermiculite was done with expertise and skill through a roof vent preventing contamination in the house. Excellent personnel . All work accomplished in one and a half days with top of the line equipment. Thank You, M. A. Emond .
