I called Templar based on a friend's recommendation. Our initial contact was with Robert, who came for a visit to the house, walked through with us and confirm that we had asbestos. He set up an appointment within days - which was key since we were on a tight schedule. Warren did the removal. Before he began, he explained the process and answered all our questions. Warren finished ahead of schedule and before he left, walked through the house with us one last time showing us each individual vent. We would defiantly recommend Templar to others in our situation.

We are very happy with the work Templar did for us. Robert was professional on the phone and quickly arranged for an assessment and quote. They removed asbestos insulation around old pipes in our basement. Warren, who did the work, was friendly, explained the process and was VERY thorough - even staying late after he had already packed up to remove a small spot he discovered he initially missed. We feel this attitude of thoroughness to this work is what homeowners want when dealing with asbestos removal. The cost was also less than we expected. We would highly recommend using Templar to homeowners for asbestos removal.

He made arrangements to meet us at the house to gather samples for testing, evaluate the work required and provided an estimate. Mould removal and remediation is a tricky and nasty problem. We knew we had an issue after having had our basement tested. We were told we had a huge spore count. I searched around on Homestars and found Templar. From the moment I dealt with Robert Timm, I felt that I was dealing with an honest professional who knew exactly what he was doing. He came to my downtown Toronto house and thoroughly inspected the premises. His analysis of the problem and the solution was spot on. He also communicated with a rare degree of honesty and patiently explained to me the process involved with mould removal and remediation. When his 2-man team of Warren and Dale arrived within 2 days, I was thrilled, because I was under an extreme deadline due to upcoming travel. Warren and Dale again were outstanding at explaining exactly what they were doing and keeping me apprised of their work at every stage. I could not have asked for a more professional yet friendly presence in my home. The job was impeccably performed. All of the mould was disposed of and carted away in a safe manner that only a properly trained mould removal company can do. The cuts into the drywall and the removal of my basement flooring were performed with precision and respect of the premises. When more mould was discovered in the basement, Robert was very reasonable in his calculation of the extra cost. After the mould was removed, he brought in an industrial strength dehumidifier and left it in the basement along with other equipment in order to restore the quality of the air in the basement. Before he left and after he was paid, he agreed to cart away some extra materials that I had in my backyard. I cannot recommend Robert Timm and his team of Warren and Dale too highly. They were extraordinary professionals who demonstrated stellar competency and compassion. I recommend them without reservation!

I found Templar on this site. They were the one who could provide the service in a short notice. And they can finish it in one day. The way they did the job is so smart that the house was left clean. They deserve all the good reviews. Very satisfied.

We were satisfied with Templar's work: they delivered on schedule; the quality of work was good; the price was competitive; and Robert TImm did a good job of program management and follow-up.

Warren did an excellent job. He sealed off the area, removed and disposed of the mould and cleaned the walls with an antibacterial solution. He left the area neat and clean. He recommended a dehumidifier which we bought. The basement was more humid than we thought. We were very happy with his work.

Robert answered the phone late on a Friday night, and setup my appointment for the following Monday. He was very eager to help, and arrived to pickup our samples for asbestos testing and had everything wrapped up within 48 hours. He was very knowledgeable, and offered some great advice for dealing with our renovation. I would recommend Robert and Templar to anyone who needs a very quick turnaround on asbestos testing, and an honest approach to customer service. We were extremely fortunate that our asbestos test came back negative, and I can't begin to tell you how great it was to have someone like Robert assure us that our floor was asbestos-free and that we were ready to start our basement renovation safely. I found Templar on HS and hired them to remove asbestos in my basement. Warren came and gave me a free quote. I hired them and Warren also did the removal. They were done in 2 days, took all garbage, kept me in the loop throughout the day. Final walk through was with Robert who explained what was done etc.

Robert spent over an hour walking me through my basement and around the outside pointing out multiple ways to reduce moisture getting into the house. He had specific ideas for basement finished rooms, furnace rooms, drains, door frames, foundation work, and window wells, and suggestions on what to prioritize depending on how much we were willing to spend. It was easy to schedule an appointment, and he was willing to come quite quickly when he heard there was a child in the house. The results of the air quality test were easy to read (the results show the type and quantity of different mould spores), and he was generous with follow up discussions afterwards. I have no hesitation in recommending this service.
