The owner Robert is responsible and prompt. The project is finished on time and on schedule with no delay. He is on the roof involved with the work and ensures everything is correctly done. In addition, the air vents are re-arranged in a proper manner. The whole crew works in harmony, is helpful and professional. They are reliable, dependable and are in good spirit throughout the whole project. I would recommend Cutting Edge Roofing to others.

My flat roof was replaced and the rest of the roof re-shingled. After getting several quotes, Robert provided the most information on what needed to be done and how his company was going to do it. We decided to go with the cutting edge due how knowledgeable Robert was and how he provided the information. Jimmy and his crew arrived early in the morning and worked hard into the evening. My roof was completed today and pictures of the process was provided as a bonus. I was very impressed by the work done and would definitely recommend the company to others.

At my previous house I had issue after issue after having my house reshingled with a random company I chose. I ended up going through 3 other roofing companies in the area to repair where the first company messed up. At my new house in Whitby (moving in, knowing it needed new shingles soon) having Cutting Edge reshingle it has been problem free for almost 2 years and I have confidence it will continue to be problem free. After the disaster at my previous house, I decided to wait a while before writing a review to see how it holds out over winter. At first contact he went on the roof and took pictures and explained all the problem points and how he would handle them. He also told me I could easily wait a year or two before doing the work (but I wanted to get it done now anyways). No one else did this. His pricing came in about the middle of the all the quotes I requested from other companies which I felt comfortable with. He presented options in shingles, explained his goal is always having employees he trusts that stay long term, explained warranty and labor coverage, how they will do full cleanup of garbage and nails, and tarping off areas that need extra protection during work (like my A/C and neighbors A/C). When I asked about ice guard and putting in 6' instead of 3' (which some of the companies that I spoke to wouldn't even do it) .. Robert said they already do it by default. It was near end of season and he didn't have a spot to book me before it was too late to do the roofing. So he came back, took a look again the roof and explained I would be fine waiting until next year and he would book me as soon as they start in the spring. I would (and have to several neighbors already) recommend Cutting Edge to do any work on their roof.

We suspected we needed a new roof, researched and short-listed The Cutting Edge Roofing. Robert, the owner, delivered an estimate with superb confirming photos. He used a drone as well as walked the roof. Shingle quality was our deciding factor. The Corning Duration shingles are highly rated and Corning certifies its installers; comforting. We signed the contract (early April) and Robert told us our roof needed protecting until the weather warmed enough for reroofing. At no charge, they promptly tarped our roof. When the time came (May), the install crew was excellent. They knew their job and got on with it. I'll add that The Cutting Edge Roofing did more than required. They doubled the ice barrier and installed extra vents. Robert's attitude is "do the job right the first time" to avoid follow up. As much as we like the guy, we certainly don't want to need him again for many years to come. Absolutely we recommend The Cutting Edge Roofing.

We are blown away by these guys. They did the job in one day. They laid tarp all around the house to protect our property, removed our current shingles, replaced old vents, replaced rotting plywood and laid the new roof. The previous roofer had used the wrong vent for our dryer and the pipe was clogged (a potential fire hazard.) CER's guys cleaned out the pipe before installing the new vent. When they were finished they swept up all debris and vacuumed the property leaving it clean. Final bill was lower than expected and they sent step-by-step photos providing us detailed insight into the quality of their work. Very impressed! Have already passed their name on to several others.

I had a roof leak and even though they were booked solid, he took the time to answer my questions about my roof leak and referred me to a roof repair company who turned out to be great! So even though he was too busy to do the work on my roof, he still took the time to help me out. A truly great guy of integrity.

Robert, and the Cutting Edge team did a fantastic job replacing my bad leaky roof. From the initial meeting, to the completion of the job, every step was handled very professionally. Robert was great and took the time to explain and educate me on the various options I had, and guided me through this process, which I was grateful for, as this was my First Roof replacement. The Cutting Edge crew, were very professional and the new roof looks great. They were efficient, clean and friendly. My tenants also commented on how the crew were very courteous and professional, and a "great bunch of lads"! Although I hope to not have to use Cutting edge in the near future, I will certainly recommend them to anyone needing or looking at getting a new roof, or repairs.
