Initial roof assessment was very prompt and thorough, well explained and the estimate was fair. Roof repair and shingling on the house and garden shed was very well done. Cleanup afterwards was exemplary - you wouldn't even know that the crew had been on site. Best contractor that I've dealt with in all my years living in Ajax!

I had a leak in my roof. Within a week of calling Rob sent out his crew to put a tarp down in order to prevent further leaks into the house. The quote was reasonable compared to others we had received. But it was the confidence I received when asking all my questions about the job and it never felt like I was being pressured or sold to - in fact they recommended other contractors in the area to make sure I got enough quotes! Ended up getting the heavier duty Duration shingles and a Velux sun tunnel. The work was great and they were finished in surprisingly little time. Final price was exactly the same as the written quote. I can finally sleep again without worrying about the rain. I have already recommended them to my neighbours.

After obtaining 7 or 8 quotes, my wife and I were impressed by Robert's whole approach to our roofing requirements. We received good advice and honest answers regarding the attic ventilation and the work that we actually needed to do. Robert's team was incredibly thorough, replacing our roof, adding vents and going beyond the call of duty with a gable extension, all in a day. The standard of work was high and the clean-up was excellent, both on our property and our neighbours. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Robert and The Cutting Edge Roofing team in the future. Robert and his crew gave us a fair estimate and starting time to replace most of our damaged roof from the winter's havoc. They worked with a steep pitch and they completed the roof well and on time. Robert did a follow up and we are happy that we found The Cutting Edge. I have recommended them to others who are looking to repair/replace their roof. Just had our roof replaced by The Cutting Edge Roofing and the experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Robert Landry and his team place customer service and quality as their top priorities. Robert came out to the house the same day I called for a quote, he inspected both levels of the roof, and took photos so he could show us the state of the existing shingles. The other quotes we received where based on a visual inspection only from ground level - they did not inspect the roof. Robert fully explained the replacement process to us, along with the warranties for workmanship and materials, and we where also given a choice of 3 manufacturers from which to select new shingles. Robert provided a detailed written estimate (this level of detail was not provided by the other companies that quoted on the job, and no choice of manufacturers was offered). Robert was really patient answering our questions. On roofing day, Jim and the crew arrived when they said they would, completed the work in a timely way, and cleaned up so well you'd never know they had been here except for our beautiful new roof! Jim shook my hand and thanked us for our business! Robert dropped in part way through the day to see how the job was going and then arrived the following day to inspect the finished product and answer any questions. Kudos also to Tracie-Lynn in the office for providing friendly, timely, and professional customer service. Out of 7 Roofing quotes received, Robert provided pictures and practical advice on how best to proceed and solution with the condition, location to sun facing and age of my roof. Robert was straight up, no gimmics, no hidden fees, no games. The work was done expertly, clean and roof looks great. This company is fair, built on integrity and well priced for the job and Robert delivers on excellent customer service and held true to his word.
