After checking Homestar for a roofer I called The Cutting Edge and Robert Landry came to the house next day, went on the roof and took pictures and gave me a quote immediately. A few days later our roof was completed. The services was excellent and the clean up perfect. I highly recommend The Cutting Edge Roofing to anyone, the workmanship and quality of service is top notch.

The Cutting Edge Roofing was highly recommended by a co-worker and we are so happy that we selected them to replace our roof. Right from the beginning Robert provided great customer service, was quick to come by and discuss our concerns about the roof we had. We met, selected our tiles and he provided a very reasonable quote. Robert impressed us with his knowledge, professionalism and a genuine interest in making sure we would be happy with the work. The crew was courteous and covered all our gardens with tarp to minimize damage from the old roofing tiles and debris being discarded. The cleanup was great. Robert supervised the entire job and make sure we were satisfied. We would highly recommend Cutting Edge Roofing.

Very satisfied with the roof re-shingling job on my 10y old house Rob's team did on 20-June-2014. The price Rob quoted was competitive, but the actual value added was tremendous: good shingles, compete plywood coverage with ice and water barrier, double nailing, additional vents, etc. Work was done on time, quick and accurate. Flexible on payment. Nice!

We hired Cutting Edge Roofing to replace the shingles, eavestroughs, soffits and downsprouts. We also had the leaf guards and a canopy installed. We knew Cutting Edge Roofing would be the company that we would hire when Robert came to our house the first time. Unlike other companies that we contacted, Robert was the only person who climbed up to look at our roof before preparing the estimates. He spent more than 3 hours at our home answering our questions, showing us different materials and alternatives even before we signed the contract. When we were undecided on the shingle colour, Robert was very helpful by letting us know a nearby client who had a particular style of shingles installed recently so that we could see the actual effect. Throughout the project, Robert was always available whenever we called him. He and his crew were friendly and hardworking. We can tell Robert really cares about his company and his reputation. Robert provided the most informative quote (with pictures and explanations of issues with the old roof) and totally convinced me he knew what he was doing and wasn't trying to upsell me - I'm convinced I got both quality and value. They came almost right away when the spring rains started and did a great job, and quickly came back to deal with a very small issue when I emailed him right after the job (perfecting the install of gutter guard in a corner where birds had previously built a nest). Really good experience from start to finish.

I've waited a year to write this review, because I always want to test out a product or service before I pronounce my verdict. A year later, I can confirm that I'm very happy with our new roof. It looks good, we have had no problems with leaking (which is why we contacted The Cutting Edge to begin with), and the quality of the shingles is excellent. In fact, when we had someone come to the house to clean our gutters, he remarked that we had an excellent roof with great workmanship, and asked for The Cutting Edge's contact information so he could pass it on to his own clients! We have gone on to recommend The Cutting Edge to two friends, we were so pleased with the job. They completed the whole project swiftly, and even worked on a weekend to get the job done. They were also very clean and tidy and didn't leave any debris (and only a small handful of roofing nails scattered on our property, which would be unavoidable). Also, I can't say enough about Robert. We are notoriously picky people but he came by our house on at least 3 different occasions to go drop off shingle options, so we could hold them up to our brickwork to determine the best shade. Robert and his team are consummate professionals and without hesitation, I recommend 'The Cutting Edge Roofing' for all work pertaining to roof repair and/or replacement. From the first consultative visit (this is where I was won over) to the unprompted compliments on the workmanship and overall process by our neighbours (where my wife was won over) the entire engagement was first class. I don't normally write recommendations but given the level of service, the finished product and the competitive project cost, I felt compelled to do so. Robert and his team did a great job. I had a few quotes last fall and Robert's quote was the middle of the road with the best explanation, and commitment to do the work in the spring. Other quotes didn't provide all the service and quality that Robert provided. I'm also happy that I did not have to provide down payments up front. Roofing day seems to be perfect. 5 person crew spent the day doing exactly what was quoted and the clean up was perfect.
