I cannot repeat often enough how pleased I am with the work done by Robert and his assistant. The aluminum siding had bent panels and actual holes between two of the panels. It was an invitation for a home for raccoons. And to prevent further damage, Robert came the very next day after giving me a quote. His impressive trucks came with all the equipment and the job was very efficiently completed, and was done in an efficient matter of time. I am a senior citizen and Robert was very supportive in reassuring me about the work to be done. In fact, he removed the satellite wire, which I was no longer using, that had broken free and was hanging down from the rooftop on a front window on the second floor rooftop. The work has a pleasing finished look. You cannot distinguish the repaired section from the rest of the wall aluminum siding paneling.

We have used The Cutting Edge Roofing 2 times previously. Once to replace our garage roof that was leaking, and the second to remove and an old vent stack and repair the hole. When we had a hole in our wooden soffit / fascia, we gave them a call. Jimmy came out within a couple of days and got on the roof to check it out. Turned out that our entire roof needed replacement. He took pictures and showed us how wavy and bowed the entire roof was - and we had no idea. He provided a quote on the spot for the replacement of the roof, and advised us to take a look in the attic as due to the shape of the roof, there was probably mold. Sure enough, there was mold on the plywood in the attic and the walls - WHAT!?!? MOLD!?!? We took pictures and sent them to Jimmy. He came back and answered all our questions about the roof / mold and let us know that they would be able to remove / kill most of the mold - obviously once the roof was off, they would be able to see better and advise. About 2 weeks later, Jimmy, Rob and he crew came out to start. Once they had the roof off, they advised us that they could take care of all the mold - thank goodness. They also found that there was not enough insulation - only about 4 inches. The lack of insulation, along with a bathroom vent that was not connected properly and blowing hot air in the attic, is what caused the mold. So along with the roof, they added the required insulation, and fixed the bathroom vent. Jimmy, Rob and the crew were so thorough and checked everything and addressed all the issues. They took pictures of everything - before, during and after. Everything was cleaned up and left exactly as it was before. I would not hesitate to recommend The Cutting Edge Roofing to anyone they are amazing.

Recently, we have all the plywood sheets of our roof completely replaced (changing 3/8" to 1/2" at the same time). The price was not cheap but considering the quality and extent of work, it is well worth it ! I've no hesitation in recommending The Cutting Edge Roofing to others :-) Due to mold problem, all the plywood sheets were replaced and the beams in the attic were sprayed. In addition, all air intakes around the perimeter of the roof were checked for blockages. Though there were no blockages, Robert found the complete missing of insulation about 1.5 ft stretching from the brick wall into the attic. He thought that may explain the growth of mold and the loss of heat during winter from the house below into the attic. Insulation was subsequently added. 6 new intakes (4 with baffles + 2 are roof top vents) were added to promote the air circulation (on top of 3 extra vents were added to facilitate the exhaust of air from the attic). The work on spotting the insulation problem and fixing it .. plus new intakes made were mostly more than I expected. I'm grateful that we and Robert and his crew have our paths crossed! :-)

Cutting edge did an amazing job on my small semi-detached home. The quote was spot on, they were flexible in setting up the job. They did my main house AND my shed! They left the house spotlessly clean! No roofing nails or debris whatsoever. Super pro!!!!

I would recommend The Cutting Edge Roofing a thousand times over. Robert showed up on a Friday, went up on the roof, took pictures and gave us an honest opinion of the work needed to be done along with a reasonable cost estimate. We signed up on the spot. By Wednesday of the following week, Jimmy and his crew had the roof installed. Everyone was extremely professional, easy to engage, they cleaned up very well and did a fantastic job installing the roof with pictures along the way. We HIGHLY recommend The Cutting Edge Roofing!!! Rob, Jimmy and their crew did an amazing job and gave us a beautiful roof. They were professional, meticulous and very hard working. They were the only company that actually went up on our roof to assess what needed to be done and give us a written quote immediately (3 other companies used google earth to view our roof). They were courteous and careful and placed everything back where they found it originally (planters...) and cleaned up so well you wouldn't know we just had our roof done! Rob returned all calls and texts efficiently and addressed any concerns we may have had and was so pleasant to deal with! This truly was a very pleasant experience! Just moved into a new house and when I saw the flat roof needed to be replaced I immediately contacted Robert at The Cutting Edge because I had used them on my previous house. Jimmy came out and gave me a quote right away. They showed up on the desired date, and replaced everything as they said they would, cleaned up after themselves and away they went! Thank you Jimmy and the whole team. I will continue to recommend and use you guys.

Honestly could not have been a better experience. Robert made time for a same-day visit, quickly diagnosed the problem, and offered to fix it on the spot. Took photos before and after, took photos of other sections of my roof (nothing to fix immediately, but things to keep an eye on), and walked me through the steps he took to fix the job. Thorough, high quality work. Would recommend.

I wanted to take a moment to share a review about this company. There are many roofing contractors out there and as a consumer you primarily want the best price. I found a pricey and a cheaper company for quotes. Then I saw the Cutting Edge working on a house in my street and also recommended by my neighbour. Robert himself came by to visit to give me a quote and I appreciate his transparency where he told me hes not cheap and didnt take that as he didnt want my business. He recommended Owens Corning shingles for my home. When I did my research on the product, The Cutting Edge was listed as an authorized contractor directly from the Owens Corning Website which tells me the brand trusts the contractor. Im no roofing expert, but he was able to explain things in detail to my level of understanding which I appreciated. My biggest eye opener was when I mentioned a got a quote that was significantly cheaper in price, I questioned if its too good to be true and why. This is where I learned that those contractors could be inexperienced and the products they use are bare minimum standards. Just in conversations with Rob, I felt I was making the right choice hiring The Cutting Edge. Now the day of the job, met with Jimmy and Team. Absolute professionals and I appreciate their courtesy with placing big sheets of plywood just to cover my garage door while they work. Set my expectations prior to the job to make room in my driveway for a bin. Completed exactly what was quoted to me and if needed additional sheeting, a price was quoted to avoid any surprise charges on the job. Last but not least, cleaned the work area as if nothing happened. Thank You Rob, Jimmy and team for your honesty, transparency and professionalism to a guy thats never gotten his roof replaced ever and had no idea what to expect. Not only you made it a learning experience for me, you made it such a positive experience as well.

I was first referred to Rob 3 or 4 summers at which time he inspected my roof and assessing that I didn't need to replace it at that time. I was so impressed by his honesty and happy not to have to incur the expense at that time. So of course I would choose The Cutting Edge when wind and storm damage made it necessary to replace my roof this summer and they did not disappoint. Rob explained in detail the quality of the product and materials that would be used; they scheduled and completed the job quicker than I had expected and the crew were professional and pleasant from start to finish.
