    Pillar rebuild

    We hired Tony to replace a leaning pillar at the front of our house. We found his rates very reasonable in comparison to other contractors and they kept to schedule exactly as he said they would. The work was done over the course of 2 days and we're very happy with the results. Tony was also able to recommend a carpenter to complete a very nice rebuild of our front porch. Tony followed up afterward to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction - something we've rarely seen in any contractor.

    Replaced Brick Sills with Limestone

    Hired Straight Up Masonry to replace brick sills with limestone sills. Tony was responsive, sent a written estimate and even photographs to show me what the sills would like like after the job was done. Very professional operations, and very pleased with the work and the results.

    Window Sill Replacement

    When I contacted the company Crystal was very empathetic to my situation. She immediately asked Tony if he would be available to come to my house and assess my shoddy window sill replacement done by a previous bricklayer I hired. Tony was available and came within 30 minutes of my initial call. He was courteous and very knowledgable. He was able to point out that my new sills had many mistakes and agreed with me that my previous bricklayer could have worked harder at measuring and doing it correctly. The sills were all incorrectly sloping, as Tony showed me on one sill that a pen couldn't roll down off it, while the other sill beside it was ok. Tony was able to colour match my mortar exactly by taking out a sample colour from a sample board. It was a perfect match. The previous bricklayer gave me a pink colour for mortar which was terrible. I would recommend Tony for the job as he is honest, extremely knowledgable and has great customer service.

    Chimney rebuild

    Tony was very honest, prompt and hard working. He cleaned up after his job was done and was very professional, as was his assistant. I highly recommend him and will certainly call him again if needed !!

    Rebuild Chimney, Re-pointing

    Anthony provided a reasonable quote and there were no surprises after the work was done. His crew were on time, courteous and cleaned up after. My chimney looks great. I highly recommend Straight Up.

    Chimney replacement

    Company arrived on time, set up quickly, and proceeded to replace my old chimney with one using colour of bricks to match my roof. Job was done professionally and with care.

    Chimney rebuild

    Tony and team were great. They were very busy when I first approached them last fall but when I followed up in the spring they came right out to give me a quote. Many masons didn't even return my call! They showed up on time. They did the job quickly and on budget. They cleaned everything up and my chimney looks amazing! Would totally recommend them.

    replace porch steps and landing

    Cannot say enough to thank Tony for the excellent work he did on our porch and steps .He explained the different options i had and was quick to send me a detailed estimate of the cost of the project. A lot of pride and care goes into his work. You matched the brick colours and chose a great product for our porch landing. Glad i chose your company to do this work for us. Choosing the right company isn't an easy task when you live in such a large city . so many companies which promise great things end up giving you an inferior product at the end. Thanks again for your professionalism and dedication.. I will definitely recommend you to anyone who needs to have this type of work done.

    tuck pointing & chimney cap repair

    Tony thoroughly explained what he would do and he and his crew did exactly that. They were prompt, tidy and respectful. They finished the job ahead of schedule and without cutting corners. The quality of work is excellent. The follow up provided has been excellent. We have no hesitation in recommending Straight Up Masonry.

    bricking to match existing house

    We're in the middle of a reno that involved matching existing brick for an addition as well as some patchwork. Our contractor brought in Straight Up and their work was amazing! They matched the brick SO WELL you can hardly tell the difference... even in areas where the old brick and new brick are right next to each other (i.e. bricking up the back door). In addition, the workers were very friendly, knowledgable, and extremely professional. They worked efficiently and answered our questions without hesitation. Thumbs up for Straight Up!
