I want to thank Alex for all his hard work in putting my napkin vision into professional plans, and for sticking with me through the unexpectedly long permitting process with the City; I feel like I've known Alex for years when it's only been months, and that's just because we've exchanged so many emails!
Getting these renovation plans completed was a real learning experience, and Alex was always patient and agreeable to any changes until the final plan was just the way I wanted. We had interior and exterior renovations on the same plan, then had to divide it into two applications and re-submit to expedite the zoning approval on the interior, while going to Committee on the exterior (which is still pending, so I may be back to change my referral rating, lol). Despite all the extra work that neither of us expected, Alex was very accommodating and reasonable in the additional charges that arose as a necessary consequence from splitting the plans and changes in my design based on City zoning laws - and, most importantly, I never once felt l overpaid.
So, though we had some frustrating times (due to the City, mainly), Alex always came through with prompt attention to my phone calls and emails, and was always willing to adjust draft after draft until I was completely satisfied with the way it all looked. His fees were very fair, and I would recommend him in the future.
