Alex did the drawings and took care of everything related to the required building permits. In less than 2 weeks we had the required building permits in hand. He started with having to measure the actual building, as there were no drawings for our newly purchased home available. We wanted to turn the entire main floor into one big open concept living space and he was able to get everything approved as requested. Thanks, Alex!

Alex and Stacie are wonderful to work with. They are creative with their designs and worked hard to maximize the existing space in my house. They also have a great network of engineers, surveryors, HVAC, permitting professionels etc. to take you from start to end, all of which were very professional. I would not hesitate to hire Alex again and have already referred him to multiple friends and family.

We used Alex and his firm to design plans for taking a 850 sq ft bungalow to a two story modern home. It was gutted and completely overhauled floor to top. Alex and his staff were always available via phone or email to answer any questions we had. He took us through the initial meeting , drawings and redos, as well as, all necessary paperwork submissions to the City in order to get building permits...including the hiring of a Structural Engineer and Mechanical/HVAC Engineer...a seamless process.

Alex and his team (Stacie) are fantastic. They prepared all the drawings (2D & 3D architectural) for our third story addition and second story renovation and handled all of the submissions to the city for the permits. HVAC and Engineering site visits were coordinated by Alex and incorporated into the package he submitted to the city. After obtaining our first set of permits we decided to make some changes to our original project and needed to obtain new permits for the revisions. We used Cadaxx for a second time for updated drawings and submission to the city for the permits. Alex is very easy to work with, he listens well, makes alterations quickly and provided a fair and transparent pricing and payment structure. Many builders/contractors that we spoke to/worked with were surprised at how quickly Cadaxx obtained the permits and that it was done without going to the committee of adjustments. Many also told us they really liked the 3D renderings provided as it allowed them to better understand what was being done before using the 2D architectural drawings. Apparently not all architects provide this... We really liked them because it really brings the concept to life and gives you confidence that your vision is what is going to be built. I will definitely return to Alex and Cadaxx for any future projects and 100% recommend Cadaxx.

Alex and his team at Cadaxx design prepared all drawings and permit applications for our second story addition and reno. This included a complete exterior redesign. Alex is an good listener and a skilled artist. He understood what we wanted and provided 3D renderings with several options to help us settle on an exact look. After that, he was ahead of every deadline for the technical drawings and applications. He answered questions promptly and made small changes when necessary. Cadaxx's pricing and payment schedule was transparent, fair, and uncomplicated. I'd strongly recommend Alex and Cadaxx to any other homeowner.
