Initially when booking with this company, I received a great rate along with very helpful assistance from Bav in their customer service department. This great impression slowly deteriorated after a year when they started to charge my bank account double the agreed upon monthly rate in order to make up for an administrative error on their part. After trying to contact Grand Alarms numerous times and leaving many messages on the hope that somebody "will get back to me", we came to a resolution but I am still waiting for it to be finalized! The installation set up was just ok - the technician came late (at night) and worked very slowly. He ended up sitting down at our kitchen table and even watched TV while working! Other than their mediocre customer service, the actual alarm monitoring is everything I could ask for. Anytime the alarm was set off by accident, I received a call promptly! Overall, I would not recommend this company on the sole basis of their customer service (or lack of)

I was very impressed with the knowledge and recommendations Grand Alarms offered me during my consultation. Everything was explained perfectly and my home was wired for cable access including the garage for my flat screen while working on my cars. Amy was a big help in achieving my goals. We purchased our first home and was helped by Amy. She helped us with our security system and wiring needs in house. Price was higher than expected but we were overall satisfied with the service we received.

Ther service was good but would have like to pay a bit less. i would lso like it if I got the camra to see who is outside installed .

Our last home we had Grand Alarms install and monitor for us (they were the preferred company of the builder). Moving to our new home that came pre-wired (roughed in) with a different builder, we were again in the market for a new system and install. Knowing the service Grand Alarm previously had provided through their monitoring station and what they offered for our new home, the decision was easy - we'd go with Grand Alarms again. From initial contact one week through install the next, the coordination of, install (quick and clean - everything well run in the basement) and set-up of our system could not have been simpler. Bav was quick to respond to our initial query and follow-up questions through to providing the certificate for our insurance company. He was great to deal with. I'd recommend Grand Alarms without hesitation to someone looking for a monitored alarm install.
