    Complete home knob and tube rewiring

    Bill and team did a fantastic job - making sure my home was rewired and up to code. He also brought in the Hydro inspector to give me the paperwork so that I can prove the knob&tube was out and my insurance coverage for my home was secured. Bill also has excellent follow-up and support and was very flexible with timing and scheduling. Great job!

    knob and tube removal/ updating to code

    Prompt response, transparent quote, reasonable terms. Work started and ended exactly as stated. The incisions were modest and the clean up good. We found Bill and the whole crew pleasant and helpful. This is a very professional contractor whom we recommend without reservation.

    Replalcement of knob & tube wiring

    We had a very tight timeline before moving and Bill met our deadline. Replaced our knob and tube wiring quickly and efficiently. I've not only had my wiring replaced I've also made a new friend. Thanks Bill and crew!

    Knob and Tube Re-wiring

    Bill has a great team. Works hard and on time as promised. Even worked over the weekend to meet our moving date. Was very accommodating with our wishes to move things around. Thanks Bill

    Running new power for electric water heater.

    We'd had our gas hot water heater die, and I called the company that we had an existing service contract with to come out. They made several visits over a few days, but ultimately no progress. Unfortunately, the material used in the PVC piping being used for the exhaust from the water heater was no longer safe to use (house is 10 years old). To use another gas heater, we'd have to rip out the finished ceiling in our basement and re-install new PVC. It's at this point, in the middle of winter on day 4 of no hot water that we decided we'd rather go electric than undertake the exhaust replacement project and lose our basement. This is where KNT Electric comes in. I was calling electricians desperately looking for someone to do the job of installing a new 240v circuit to power the electric water heater. We spent half a day calling electricians with nobody interested in the job. I called KNT - and spoke with Bill. He was busy on a job, and couldn't really help us at the moment. I kept calling other electricians for another hour with no luck. Then my phone rang - Bill called me and asked if I'd found anyone yet. I said I hadn't, and he said he'd see what he could do. Bill came by with a member of his team, and they installed the new circuit for me. It had to run half way across the house, and required a few holes in the ceiling. They patched things up beautifully, and the ceiling looked as good as new when they were done. All of this was done in time to get the water heater folks out to finish installing the new heater. It was a small service call, but it was really important to us. I'm grateful the folks at KNT were able to help us out.

    Knob and Tube Replacement

    Bill and his crew replaced the knob and tube wiring in my 1882 row house, in June 2011 and installed recessed lighting and a new panel. Bill was acccessible, prompt, honest and accomodating. The price for the job was very clear and reasonable and little extras were added at no additional charge. The crew were efficient and careful. They managed to rewire a wallpapered room and only removed a small 5 X 4 " patch of wallpaper- incredible! Any little glitches were immediately rectified to this owner's complete satisfaction. Patching was nicely done. Highly recommended.

    Moving Dryer Plug Installation

    We hired KNT electric to update all the wiring in our 1890's home about a year and a half ago. They did a great job, and perfectly preserved all the historical crown molding. Last week we recently bough a new stackable washer and dryer, as we've just had twin babies and have a lot more laundry. After delivery we realized that the electrical cord for the dryer would not reach the original outlet. I called Bill. He came by the next afternoon. He checked it out and had some employees who came over within a few hours and rewired the outlet. He knew we had an urgent need because of the babies. Not only did he remedy the situation immediately, he did this as a courtesy to us. No charge. That is the kind of vendor he is. Knowledgable, genuine, generous. He really came through for us - this is the type of person he is and the type of business he runs. He is truly a great guy and does amazing work.     Knob & Tube removal

    We had a crew from KNT remove knob & tube wiring from a 1920s house that we purchased in July 2011. KNT also installed 6 pot lights in our living room ceiling and added a small panel to supplement our main electrical panel (which was full). We were very satisfied with the level of service and work performed. Some highlights: Bill Tang from KNT made himself available at anytime to come by and provide a quote or to discuss the job. Bill is very friendly and great to deal with. The crew worked quickly to complete the work over 4 days (on time - as quoted). Everyone on Bill's crew was very friendly and were reasonably tidy (we lived in the house during the job) The crew also completed all of the patchwork within the 4 day period to a good standard for a reasonable cost. Overall the cost of the job was very competitive with the other research we had done on knob & tube removal. Bill was great about following up to see if there's anything we'd like him to fix in the work that his crew completed. We haven't found anything yet -- overall very satisfied and would recommend!

    Knob and Tube replacement

    Needed an unknown amount of knob and tube wiring replacing in a house that had already been renovated and was occupied. Bills team completed the job in four days without any undue disruption. Advice was given to bring the wiring up to code throughout. The quote was reasonable and Bill was understanding that we were working within a budget.

    KNT To the Rescue Again

    KNT was so wonderful about removing our knob and tube wiring that we phoned Bill when we needed a smaller job done in our condo. We had no lights in our hall, living room/dining room and TV room. We heard from Bill within an hour and he arrived the same day with another electrician to install some difficult to install light fixtures. We are very grateful as we now have lots of light from our new fixtures.
