We really liked the fact that this company was quick to respond and was patient in all of our requests. Time lines and schedules may have changed a few times, but the office staff never had a problem with it; they helped us work around the issue of both the painting and carpet removal which were to be done simultaneously. (side note here: the carpet was supposed to come out before the painting, then after, and then the carpet installer stopped answering our calls! We asked Jason for a referral after they were done their work and he gave me Matt's number at Monarch Floor and Window Coverings and THEY were amazing too! - no more nightmare with our original flooring company; Monarch was there the next day to quote and there the day after to install. Impressive.) I like the fact that they have a "team" for each job: one to give quotes & supervise the job, another to purchase the paint, and the painters themselves. The job was finished promptly and I understand that the painters always got there on time and stayed late (until 8pm one night) in order to finish on time and on budget. We would happily recommend and/or use their services again! - Irena

The staff of MODA Finishes recently painted my condo. Although the project ran a couple days behind schedule due to unforeseen issues, the staff was friendly, attentive, & the overall finish looks great. Ceilings, walls, trim, baseboards... all the above. They also took care to leave my place cleaned up and even replaced the old bathroom ceiling fan covers at their expense. I couldn't be happier with the work they did!

Moda was recommended by my interior designer. They were very professional and went the extra mile to complete all the little extras that I mentioned. They followed up to make sure I was happy and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them now myself.

An overall fantastic company. Given that I wasn't even there for the majority of the painting (thus, trust was a real factor) these guys were great. Their quality and worksmanship was top notch. I would gladly recommend them to others in the building and already have as a matter of fact. For any condo owners/renters looking to spruce up their place without breaking the bank and in a timely manner - I'd recommend them. Mike

I'm a realtor in Vancouver and I just wanted to say that coming from someone who helps others sell their homes for a living that moda is top notch. Attention to quality and little details make them the "go-to" painting company in this city. I kid you not when I say that we were knee deep in paint (thinking we could paint our place ourselves) when we decided to hire this company and we're not even remotely sorry we did. They finished (in a matter of hours) what it had taken us a day to do. Side note here: don't try and paint your place yourself. Hire this company. Seriously. It's not as easy as everyone thinks it is and half way through, you'll be wondering why you did it. Good work guys - come back in the spring! Maya

Although a small job it's one worth mentioning. This company's staff put in a solid effort for a good 8 hours and finished my project in less than a day - that in and of itself is cause for praise. wouldn't hesitate to use them again (and probably will in the spring when we paint our exterior siding). Solid effort guys!

What a pleasure it was to work with Jason and his staff at moda. Our place was in pretty sorry shape and by the time they were through with it... well let's just say that it's far from sorry looking now! The trim is a gorgeous off-white semi-gloss finish (shiny but not too much) the wall colour was bang on (side note: included in their initial estimate was a FREE colour consultation from their partner Benjamin Moore store... how good is that?!) and they were (get this) neat. Yes, neat and tidy. Highly recommended! Thanks Moda. E.

Jason and his crew was fantastic but more than anything they were CLEAN and NEAT. Any contractor can "do" the job, but these guys actually cared how the space looked during and after the project, going so far as to even clean up after OTHER trades at the end of every day in order to make sure the place looked spotless. Sure the painting was great too and they used Benjamin Moore and even included a free colour consultation with the project (which, I understand, is standard practice for this company) but again, what really impressed me was the fact that they cared enough to tidy up at the end of every day - unreal. Totally unique. Any company that cares that much is in my good books. Signed - Mel

Adam, Jason, and the staff of Moda were recommended to us by a few family friends for a recent painting project of ours. They did a superb job. It was really important to us to have a reputable company paint our residence because we go to and from the island often and needed to leave our key with Moda staff. The work included the painting (interior) of a condo, staining of the front door, as well as painting of the kitchen cabinets in melamine. (They look like new cabinets!) Their painting was meticulous, as was the cleanup. Great work! We hope to work with them again next year when we paint our place on the island. My husband and I recently had a portion of our home painted and we went with a recommendation given us by our local Benjamin Moore store who assured me of quality workmanship. We were not disappointed. Adam and his staff were friendly, polite, and helped us colour match a number of shades working well with our designer. The work was done to a high standard and I appreciated the place been left clean after the job was done. We were happy with the project and would recommend Moda to others who are looking for job done to professional standards. - Andrea
