I picked this place the first place because of the reviews, because I am too busy taking care my new baby. After eventually fixed the dishwasher through DIY, I am very disappointed in having their services by paying that price, though he was so nice talking to me but likely lack knowledgeable. I paid over 200 dollars (85 bucks trip charge and labor for the balance (it did not seems to be over an hour duration from in to out; just FYI, I only pay an PEng $120 rate for working on oil sand projects), I had one wash before the drain pump quitted working again. Called for a return service and the same technician (really is?) came and told that I need a new pump though the built-up has been cleaned up from the pump during the last visit, which would be another $150 per his quote and won’t be fixed until after the weekend. The price includes the part which is 30% higher than which I bought in the parts stores in town. I would not wait over the weekend so I did take out the pump and open it to check out, it turned out that the obviously jam during the course of turning the propeller by fingers, even I could notice that though I am neither a mechanical nor electrical guy. I doubted what sort of diagnosis the repair guy has done to the pump in the last visit, prior to make the decision to fix it. What I can tell that the devices they are using are only screwdrivers and hummers probably. Strange noise in our 6 year old washer. Went on line and found Appliance Service Center. On sunday, tried unsuccessfully to book on line so sent an email instead asking them to call me. Literally 5 seconds after I hit send, my phone rang. They weren't able to come the next day but instead the day after. Made the appointment and as promised, got a call that day to confirm and they arrived on time as promised. Very professional, knowledgeable and polite. Turned out it was a nickel stuck in the pump. The call lasted 90 minutes including a final check at the end to ensure everything was 100 percent. Very satisfied.

I placed a call to one repair company and was told I would have to wait a week, and so I Googled again and found Appliance Service Centre. They were able to attend at my home the next day!! Same service cost as the other company. Very professional, honest and had some tips about buying a good washing machine, and not just spending money to fix mine, which was a 2 year old Kenmore. Thank you for your great service and opinions. I would recommend this company to others.

Both the freezer and the fridge were no longer keeping the products cold. I contacted the manager and he understood very rapidly after a few questions what the problem was. The service technician was excellent, very professional and was very respectful. I highly recommend this company.

Terry responded to my phone call in under 15 minutes as per his claim on his website. He promised to confirm a time by the end of the day which he did. He then showed up on time and solved the problem seamlessly. He also ensured the entire appliance was in proper working order and billed me a reasonable fee for his time. I can not say enough about being able to find a reliable, honest, straightforward and competent repair service. Well done!

I emailed Appliance Service Center and received a call back immediately. They were able to get to my place in 4-5 days (over the weekend) so I booked them. In the mean time I called another company and the service repair tech came to my house next day, told me I required some parst and that he would order them and be back in a couple day. He came back, installed parts but that did not solve the problem, he concluded the dishwasher was not fixable. I now was on the hunt for a new dishwasher, only to get a call from Appliance Service Center that they were coming to look at the dishwasher. (I forgot I booked them). I told then straight up that I had another company come in and told me it was no repairable but they insisted they wanted to come. Once Darcy (service tech) came in I quickly realized he was an experienced technician, he ordered some parts, came back next day and all is fixed. I did not have to buy a new dishwasher, their professionalism was exceptional…..nice to know that a service industry that has a low overall customer satisfaction that there still is a company that is trustworthy in Appliance Service Center.

Agree that the reviews are all true. Filled out the on-line form, got a call 30 minutes later. Appointment the next day. Turned up on time and figured out what was wrong, Terry had the part that was needed in his truck. Fixed the issue and the freezer is back to freezing things. Would recommend them to others!

Of all the things to break in the middle of chores my washing machine. Called them and left a message and was called back with in the hour. And they were here first thing the next morning. The reviews everyone has wrote are 100% true. wonderful company wonderful service. Will use them again

Amazing and painless. Filled out an online booking form at 9pm the night before and received a phone call first thing in the morning to confirm appointment slot. The repairman arrived when he said he would and was very professional and courteous. He was more than happy to explain what needed to be fixed and the cost involved. He even had the part available. In and out in less than 30 min. Thank you for providing exceptional service!

This is the first time I have used Appliance Service Centre (I found them through HomeStars) and will never use another appliance repair company again. My initial call to Terry was handled professionally and courteously and he got back to me as promised to schedule an appointment once he had located the necessary part. I was given a window of two hours but Darcy showed up within the first half hour of the promised time. He solved the problem quickly and efficiently (he was also friendly and polite which has not always been my experience in the past with other companies). I highly recommend Appliance Service Centre.
