We are extremely pleased with the work done by Steven and his team at Black Forest Woodworking. They were on time for all appointments and the work was done in an efficient manner. Our project was completed ahead of our anticipated time schedule. Steven provided us with great advise on what would and wouldn't work for our space. Our built-in cabinets look great and the attention to detail was excellent. They were able to work in pot lights and electrical outlets into our cabinets. The end result was fantastic. We would highly recommend this company.

I had wanted to redo my living room fireplace mantel and add cabinets on either side for years. I called a couple of people but didn't get a good vibe. Then I consulted Homestars and found Steven. Thank goodness! I can't recommend Steven enough. He understood our needs from the beginning and helped come up with the right design for us and the room. He always shows up on time and keeps his word. And the quality of his workmanship is excellent. We had to get in line for his services, but he assured the final product would be worth the wait - and it was. (He told us how long we would have to wait and he kept to that timeline.) The room is transformed. Honest. Talented. Friendly. Steven is an asset to the home improvement industry. I wish they could all be like him.

Steven worked with us to design and build a 12 foot wide floor to ceiling built-in unit for our living room. From the start he was a pleasure to work with - very professional, punctual, and listened well to what we wanted while guiding us and making design suggestions based on his experience. Stephen made our fireplace surround - marble and all and is beautiful. He is very professional and punctual (this was important to us because we had experienced missed or no-shows by other companies). He listened to us then made suggestions based on our existing house design as well as pointing out any code requirements. It turned out perfect and tthe process was completely painless. We truly had a great experience with Steven and his team. He renovated our old brick fireplace using a combination of marble and woodwork and built cabinets on each side. I found Steve on homestars and was thrilled with his obvious experience in woodworking. I had an off centre, large builder mantle, that was never finished. Getting ready to sell, it needed it to be a focal point of the room. He had the best suggestions, which, I had not considered on my own, and he literally transformed it from blah to incredible!
