Vance the owner came out to my home to deal with a minor roach problem and mouse problem. He was extremely kind and professional and really listened to me. He provided solutions that were environmentally friendly and were safe for myself, my wife and child. He followed up with me to make sure everything was going fine. I recommended him to all my neighbours and he has provided them with the same great service.

I called this company very professional and quick service call. The gentleman who came was very thorough and spent enough time in my House to figure out problem, areas and put traps that were professional. I waited 1 month to put this review because I wanted to see how affective they were and of course I'm writing because I have no more mice problems. I will recommend them to everyone.

I had a suspicion of bed bugs after bringing my mother from India. Not knowing that bed bugs were also an issue in India, I didn’t check her luggage. I made several attempts with over the counter products from the hardware store but they were futile, as my mom and daughter would get bites at least 3 times a week. This company was a great experience from the nice lady on the phone to our inspection and finally the treatment and follow up treatment. Bugs are gone and a home with a happy mom is a happy home.

We found bed bugs in the bed frame and we immediately wrapped everything up in plastic sheets and plastic bags to stop propagation. Then we called Pest-O-Kill, Vance came and we took off all plastic coverings for the treatment. There was a lot of concern from our part: 1) No written or oral instruction was provided regarding the treatment and post treatment. 2) Inspection prior to treatment is essential yet Vance did not inspect our suite or our master bedroom. 3) Vance told us to just take the plastic sheets we wrapped the infested bed frame straight out for disposal, but I disagreed and insisted we put them in sealed garbage bags first to avoid spreading of beg bugs in our suite and in our condominium building. 4) Vance did not bring a steamer to steam the mattress. He said he cannot use steamer in condominiums. He told us to take the mattress cover off so that he can spray the mattress. We were surprised that he did not bring a steamer when all the other companies told us the mattresses should be steamed and -not sprayed- due to the toxicity of the treatment. 5) Bed bugs eggs are spray resistant but can only be killed using heat or steam. But Vance did not have a steamer. 6) Vance did not bring a vacuum nor instructed us to vacuum after spraying. Vacuuming is a regular procedure companies do in order to pick up all the eggs which are spray resistant. 7) Our brand new carpet was stained due to the spray dripping off the bed frame. We tried several ways to clean it but realized that the stain will be permanent. The wall was scratched as well during the treatment. 8) One days after the treatment my husband was bitten for the first time. He also found a bed bug in a living room chair. The bed bug was more likely from the bed frame Vance sprayed. 9) I asked Nidia how much they would charge to spray the entire suite. She said there will be additional charge; again, without inspecting the suite first. Regardless, we agreed to pay more to have Vance come back and spray the entire room. A bed bug situation is a terrible thing to deal with; they hide well and spread fast. We were devastated. We forgot that we were supposed to report this event to our Management office. Once we realized that, my husband went down immediately to Management who recommended another company. The new company our management hired brought us relief. The inspection confirmed that the infestation was contained only in the bed frames. The technicians were very professional and handled the furniture and our home with lots of care. Note: We have not received any compensation or refund from Pest-O-Kill.

I always visit Homestars to hire any type of service. I was facing very bad infestation of mice last four month. I visited Homestars and find Pest-O Kill with a logo of mice. I called at their number and girl on phone gave me very detailed information, I booked appointment and Mr Vance came in time, he checked whole house and fix baits and bait stations on all infested areas including garage. He also found two entry points and fixed. Now it is more than 2 weeks and I did noticed anymore infestation. Thanks Vance. I believe experience always work.

I had an ant problem for 5 years in my bathroom. Vance came and found the main nest within15 min. He treated the whole house and I have not had an problem since. It has been 6 months. I advised Vance that I was planning on gutting the bathroom in the fall as I was concerned about the damage. He volunteered to come back advising me to give him a call when they started demolition. Vance showed up 2 days ago approximately 6 months after initial treatment to double check they were gone and spray again. I highly recommend Pestokill ! Thanks again Vance for all your help! At midnight I was trying to sleep, suddenly hundreds of wasp entered in my room. I cried and jumped from my bed and rushed to corridor and called my brother. Without wasting time he searched pest control companies on Homestars and called Pestokill. Due to emergency Mr Vance reached my place in less than half hour. I was surprised when he went outside my house first and find the entry point of wasp. After wearing Bee Jacket he smoked and dusted a powder in hole with special equipments. After that he entered in my room and killed all flying wasp and blocked hole from inside. He also advised us to not block entry point from outside. We are very pleased on their punctuality, quality of work and quick response. I recommend Pestokill for quality pest control service. Thank you Mr. Vance.

If there is one thing in the world i am scared of, it is mice. And if there is one person in the world i would contact if i had a mice problem it would have to be Vance. He is an honest man who was on time and very professional. He explained his procedure and talked me into not going to a hotel over night. He went around the home and found a hole and showed it to me (it had mice droppings inside). He called back after i had a few extra questions and was patient with the many questions i had while he was here. I couldn't recommend anyone else after the superb service i was provided. Vance you are a life saver.

After losing sleep to what seemed to be a large animal partying in the attic I called Pest control. The girl on the phone was relatively knowledgeable and explained that it is difficult to tell what we are dealing with unless we do a free inspection. The young man she sent was at my door the following day on time which was important because I was home during an extended lunch break. He checked the attic and told me it was definitely mice as he sees the droppings as well as holes in my insulation. I had my doubts but I asked him to complete the job right away. Over the next 10 days I noticed that the activity was considerably less and eventually went away. I went up to the attic to have a look and was surprised to see at least a couple of dead mice. He was right and my problem was solved without any issues.

While reading the newspaper in the basement I heard scratching sounds in the ceiling. I immediately suspected mice and the first 2 companies I had called said the same thing. I called Pest-O-Kill and asked to speak to Vance after reading his reviews; Vance called back about 45 minutes later. He explained to me that ants are also a possibility and more likely as mice would have left evidence in other areas. I asked him to come over the next morning and he was prompt at my door at 9 am the next morning. He heard the sound for 15 seconds and concluded it was ants. I wasn’t convinced so he drilled a small hole and ants came pouring out. He completed the job and I can now read the newspaper in a quite environment and knowing the ants are gone is a good feeling.
