    12 new windows

    I originally wanted ne windows when the rebate was being offered. I missed getting in on it but still wanted new windows as they were 30 years plus old. I am feeling though that there seems to be a draft and the house seems cooler now with new windows. The windows look great but I'm concerned they are not as energy efficient as I had hoped. The installers were awesome and the install went super smooth.

    Horrendous experience - I would never recommend you use this vendor

    We hired this business to replace the windows in only ONE room of our house (a total of 5 window panes). We placed the order for these windows in JULY of last year (2018) and it is March 2019 and this ONE room of windows is still not completed (only half the windows are installed). They have been holding on to our valuable thousands of dollars of deposit for almost a year now (and we still don't have a complete job). Installers are great - the sales/office is the issue.

    replacement windows

    We were very pleased with Eric and his suggestions during the sales pitch. We had just missed the government rebate and he was very helpful with price suggestions to make up for this. Unfortunately the installation was late but went very well thanks to Andrew and his team. Wonderful job!!! There are issues that still need to be addressed but we are confident that they can be sorted out. All in all we are very happy.

    Windows

    In October the sliding door that was installed opened the opposite way of my old door. It opened over a floor vent. After calling Northern Comfort today I'm pleased to have received a call back after waiting for months. They said my new door should be in, in the next couple of weeks. So far I'm pleased they've rectified the situation.

    Amazing work

    The guys did an amazing job. They provide quality work and were very efficient. Answered all my questions and were very thorough. Very polite and professional. I would highly recommend them.

    New windows for my home including installation.

    My contact with the salesperson and especially the co-ordinator, Amanda were friendly and professional. I really felt that I was more than just a customer. I had an amazing installation team in Paul and Matthew. They were very skilled, friendly, worked smartly and were neat! Shoes came off at the door, drop sheets were used and they vacuumed in all areas where they worked. In this day and age quality like this is hard to find! I would highly recommend Northern Comfort Windows to anyone. :) . Linda

    Sliding patio doors

    Overall a great experience. The door is installed and looks great. Darcy and Dale did a great job and were very courteous and professional and tidied up nicely after too. They ensured all the insulation and trim were done well. They even adjusted my screen door at the front entrance (unrelated to this project) without even being asked. They just noticed it wasn't working properly and took it upon themselves to fix it for me. Great guys! Special thanks to Ghazal as well for all her help and patience getting the contract organized. Well done getting it delivered and installed within my tight deadline. Much appreciated!

    window install

    The windows were installed by Andrew from Northern Comfort today. The job was done in a professionally way, clean and quick. I would recommend to other person if they need window renovation

    Worst Human Beings I Ever Met

    We had a quote done in approximately April. We signed our contract in the middle of June. Windows were measured the same day. We waited patiently i called in August for a update. We were told they were not done still in the process. End of September rolls around there was a problem with the windows they believed your windows needed to be meausred again as their employee may have done it wrong. They wanted it down several days later i insisted on the same day. Employee was supposed to show up in 20 minutes i would say it took closer to 40 minutes. I called middle of October around 16 week mark as the contract was for 16 to 18 weeks. At first they told us that we refused the remeasure so the windows were not being made yet. The next person i spoke to said it would be done for the end of October. I called closer to the end of the month they said it would be another 2 weeks and that it was still close to the timeline. I disagreed and said a couple days after the timeline is acceptable and 2 weeks after is not. That i have two very small children 2 and not even 1 and i can not have my windows torn out in November. The manager assured me it would be completed October 30. I was satisifed as i threatened to called the government of consumer goods. October 29 came i called and emailed to confirm someone would be over to install my windows the next day. I was told there was an issue that it would be October 31 as they had staffing issues and my 8 windows and patio door would be done in 1 day. October 31 arrives and employee shows up on his own in the rain and says he would prefer not to do the work. We said fine and he said he would be back on the sunday with 2 other employees to complete all the work. So we waited. Then friday comes at 4pm Friday i was called from a lady in the office told the crew was done work early they would come saturday. We were happy as it was a day early and i was told if they werent coming they would call. Saturday came no one showed up and no one even called. Luckily we didnt move anything. Sunday came we moved everything. We waited and again no one called no one showed up. I called the man who sold us the windows and left a vague message. He returned my call. I told him what happened no one showed up for the install. We were waiting. To this day i am still waiting for him to call me and someone to call and reschedule my install. I waited my 30 days and wrote them a letter and demanded my money back from my deposit. I got it all back and now i have washed me hands of these animals.
