It's been long enough now that I have finally started to cool down about our situation with our door. Ordered the door. They measured. Paid a large deposit. Sent the wrong one. Decided to cancel the door as it was taking an eternity to get it. Couldn't get a call back from the salesperson. When they finally called they said they were going to take me to court. You just have to love dealing with a company like this. Decided to just let them install it. Door was ok but they left a mess on the inside drywall. Talked to their service department and got a $500.00 discount off the way overpriced door as it turns out. As part of the deal they said they would do a small job on the garage man door that of course never happened. Not the first issue we had with this company. Bought French doors to the back yard. Wanted a doggy door which they did put in and damaged the door in the process. The external moulding was not UV resistant and to this day looks horrible.

Very happy with my new front door. Installers were fantastic very thorough and did a great job! They vacuumed and cleaned up completely afterwards. The trim job on the door looks amazing! Very happy

Thank you to Larry and Curtis! This was quite the job for the two of you! Door came with the wrong insert. Larry said that he would take care of it no problem. I am waiting for confirmation.

We are very pleased with the Installer. Upon arrival Larry was very polite and cordial. There was great care taken to assure there would be no damage to the interior of our house. Larry. & assistant worked hard all day with no breaks. They paid particular attention to the finishing after the windows were in. All framework was caulked with care and took the time to show us how to use each window. The house was spotless when they left.

Love my new windows! Installation was smooth. quick and tidy. Larry did a great job and would recommend again. Only complaint I have is the delay in getting this done. Ordered back in August and was told could take up to 20-24 weeks. The actual delivery date ended up 29 weeks after order date. A call from the office to advise of the delay would have been appreciated. I had to do the calling (twice) to get an installation date.

We had an issue with our sliding door handle (broken bolt). Service rep Daniel was able to greatly assist (including using his own ingenuity to re-thread the handle mechanism and re-construct the handle in an even more secure manner. Also, great compliments to Kristine (Barrie office) who handled our calls with courtesy and follow-up. The service provided by Northern Comfort definitely goes beyond the norm and is greatly appreciated. Feel good buying anything with this company.

The three guys we had did Great work. They were Friendly and cleaned up afterwards. They Explained the process. They answered questions in detail as the job was being done.

05-April-19: Company called me and promised the Windows will be fixed by 22-April. and they confirmed that the provided door is not matched to the order, so they are working to provide a new door to match the requirements. i will keep updating this review to let you know when the issues are getting resolved. 26-Mar-2019: We used Northern Comfort to replace 20 Windows and 2 Doors. The first sales rep was awesome, and suddenly the company changed the sales rep, the second one was not cooperative, so I have many issues. In summary the issues are: - 3 windows in the basement are leaking, so very cold and frozen water in the basement. - Windows not finished since Oct-2018 till now. - Entry Door is different color, size and material. The door summary complains as the following: Hardware- Knobs: Grip-set is Nashvilles. Finished should be Satin Nickel and not Black. Glass: Glass size for Door should be # 2264 Glass size for Side should be # 764 Door Size: We agreed the Door W=42, that’s to make the side smaller which the changed the 2 sides to one side. However the delivered door is W = 36 Side should be 9.5 and the delivered one is 16 (Almost double), do you accept in your home side door half sized of the Door?!!! Door material: I have requested a Fiber glass door and not something mix between Fiber and Steel, as the side is steel as well, and looks so awkward not as I requested. Side (Color, Material and finishing) should be same as the samples in the catalogue, which the Door-Side should be Fiber same as the Door. Notes: - There is an email to prove the above requirement and the Quote prove that as well. - Photo #1: The wrong door that has been installed - Photo #2: The requested glass-size - Photo #3: The requested door-color - Photo #4: From the catalog is to show how the (material and quality) which I have been promised. As I paid the money in advance, so the sales rep not calling me and I am not able to reach out to anyone in the company, look like I need to join with other peoples they have issues with the company and go with legal options. WE had a front window replaced and changed sizes. They did a great install, in winter and the window looks great. We were so pleased, we had them come back to replace some more!! Good prices and great staff to deal with.

We used Northern Comfort to replace our dining room window 2 years ago. They did a fabulous job. In July we had a salesman out to order windows for our living room. They were to match the dining room window. Northern even sent a second person out to measure and ensure the order was right. Our new windows were installed in February. They are the wrong windows and the installers either didn’t know what they were doing or didn’t care. They overcut our stucco and left us with a big mess to repair. Now over 6 weeks later we have no information regarding what they are going to do to make it right. Zero customer service.
