    Hardwood Flooring

    We had 2 weeks to replace the hardwood flooring in our condo after water damage and before the new owner took possession. With disappointing results from some larger flooring companies, we turned to Masterpiece after reading reviews posted in Homestars. From the start Connie was terrific, empathetic to our situation and committed to helping us through this tight timeline. She found us a great product which could be delivered within our timelines. Masterpiece handled the removal of the old flooring and the install of the new flooring. Todd, who did the install is a true craftsman and a pleasure to do business with. We really can't say enough good things about Connie, Todd and Masteriece. We can confidently recommend them and would do business with them again in a heartbeat. Tremendous communication, true craftsmanship and a sincere desire to get the job done. Thanks from both of us!

    Vinyl Cork Flooring

    I first contacted Masterpiece asking about getting some laminate floor quotes but after hearing about their vinyl cork product I decided to have a look at the product. Todd was punctual in arriving and listened to all of our questions. The product is really amazing. Its softer to walk on then laminate and looks very close to textured wood. Installation was on time and the floors look great. We went with a lighter flooring for the basement and it really lightened up the space. It looks super modern and we have gotten a ton of compliments. After installation I had a few nit picky things I didn't like and Todd was very quick in coming and fixing these small issues. I would definitely give these guys a shout and make sure to have a look at the vinyl cork product, especially if you are doing a basement. The only downside of going with vinyl cork in the basement is now we are thinking of getting it done upstairs!

    Cork Flooring for the Basement Project

    We knew we wanted cork flooring, and we spent a lot of time looking for the right product. We met Todd and Connie at a trade show at the Calgary Stampede grounds and their product stood out from the others. It was the best quality product and the colours it came in were perfect for our project. My original intent was to install the flooring myself but once I spoke with Connie and Todd a couple of times I was convinced having Todd do the install was the right thing to do. Todd is a very particular builder, and does a fantastic job. Todd completed the job faster than I could have, without any errors and the job site was spotlessly clean the whole time. When you listen to Todd and Connie you can believe every word they say. They are both very honest, hard working people working hard to make their business a success. If you are looking for a very good job of installation, a great product, at a reasonable price and a hassle free project, these are your people. I will absolutely be engaging them when it comes time to replace all the carpets in the rest of our home with Hardwood flooring. We are very pleased with our experience with Masterpiece Hardwood Flooring, and you will be too.

    New Flooring

    I love my new floors. I enjoyed working with Connie and Todd. They were very helpful in helping me pick out the right flooring for my home. I found them to be very professional and as had my floors done in a very timely manner. They were recommended to me by a fellow workmate who was extremely happy with their work and invited me over to see what they had done. I would definitely recommend them to others.

    Hardwood Floor install

    Connie was great at helping us choose a hardwood floor that blends perfectly in our house. It took a while to get the product we wanted but it was worth the wait. As promised, the wood is of high quality and the installation was very well done, quick and with minimum disturbance. When we ran into a small problem regarding the supply of stair nosing, Connie gave us regular updates and did her best to minimize the impact on the schedule.

    Installation of hardwood on main & upstairs floors

    I discovered Masterpiece Hardwood by conducting a search through Homestars. At the time, we were relocating from Toronto to Calgary and I had (successfully) used Homestars to find some amazing contractors. However, Todd and Connie, surpassed all my expectations. Conne was gracious enough to come to our home and patiently walk me through all of our flooring options. Initially, we were looking to match our upstairs flooring with the existing (maple) on the main floor. After much discussion, and thankfully some good advice, we decided to replace the main floor hardwood and the upstairs hardwood with an unbelievably beautiful product (Du Chateau: Olde Dutch). Although this product was a bit more expensive than some of the other lines carried by Masterpiece, it was everything we were looking for: gorgeous, thick-planked wood that promises to look as beautiful today as tomorrow. Anyhow, I could ramble on about the product itself for a long time (not only is it stunning, but it's a character-grade wood which means the inevitable signs of aging will only enhance this beautiful product), but we'll leave it at this: this hardwood completely changed the appearance of our home. It's gorgeous. Working with Todd and Connie was an immense pleasure. These two folks are 100% committed to ensuring customer satisfaction. We never felt like they were pushing a product--they provided product details and advice--and we made the ultimate call. Todd, while onsite was meticulous: it's clear he's a craftsman who is incredibly passionate about his work. Truly, it was a pleasure. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is considering making a change to their flooring. If you want to work with a team who has your best interests at heart, this is the team.

    install all new flooring

    I couldn't be happier with the floors in my new home. I had a really tight timeline and right from my first meeting with Connie I knew I was in good hands. She was creative and helpful and had all the answers to my million questions. The install went off without a hitch despite the really tight time line and would highly highly recommend. Great after sale/ install followup as well. THANKYOU for the great experience

    Flooring Install

    We had Todd from Masterpiece Hardwood Flooring come in and save us after a previous installer's work was disappointing to us. We found Masterpiece while searching here on HomeStars. I was encouraged by the glowing reviews and after the experience, they live up to their reputation. Connie was friendly, informative and accommodating to our inquiries. Todd was excellent. He was on time, very friendly and listened to our concerns as we can be perfectionists and sometimes a bit demanding. He spent time to prep the site properly, was very clean and completed the install promptly. He clearly cares about the work he does and that shows in the final product. At the end of the day, Todd did an install we are proud to have in our home, and we wouldn’t hesitate to use Masterpiece again, or to highly recommend them to anyone looking for this type of work to be done.

    Project

    My first task after deciding to replace our tile for hardwood was to find an installer. My research led me to Todd and Connie at Masterpiece who are both very personable professionals. Connie patiently helped me choose a Coswick colour which had to match all our decor (walls/kitchen/staircase). I ended up going truly custom with a colour/finish not in the Coswick brochure and although delivery took 10 weeks it was the perfect choice. Todd was an absolute joy to work with and did a fabulous job of installing the product. I am very particular and know what I want and Todd cheerfully accommodated me in every way and made the experience so much easier to handle bearing in mind what an upheaval it is to replace a floor. It was a pleasure having him work in my home. We love our new floor and cannot thank Connie and Todd enough for all their efforts on our behalf. Their service was superb and we highly recommend Masterpiece to anyone looking for an excellent hardwood product and installation.

    Carpet removal and hardwood flooring

    I checked on several websites of the best-ranking contractors at Homestars before deciding on who to meet with for my future flooring project. Masterpiece Hardwood Flooring's website had all the information I was looking for and even more - THANK YOU CONNIE!, plus Masterpiece Hardwood Flooring is probably one of the very companies that had the best selection of the high-quality wood (eco-friendly and beautiful) that I fell in love with:)) Todd brought tons of samples for the first meeting and was really patient with me trying to decide on what I needed. He left several of them for me to look at and then Connie came and brought bigger samples and spent a couple of hours helping me with the decision. Their cost estimate was absolutely reasonable and was sent the next day. Communication was efficient - you send a question and you will get a response in 5-10 minutes. The wood arrived as scheduled, the engineered wood installation (including carpet removal) was quick and efficient (roughly 800 sq. feet took 4 days) and extremely high-quality - Todd and Andy did an amazing job - THANK YOU! The first question from the painting contractor when she came the next day to start work was: What is the name of the company that did the floors? Great job! Overall feeling - when you deal with Masterpiece Hardwood Flooring - you do not need to worry about anything - you leave and then come back several days later to an amazing looking place ! THANK YOU Todd, Connie and Andy! Ten out of ten and will strongly recommend Masterpiece Hardwood Flooring to all my friends.
