Hardwood purchase
Todd was recommended to me by a friend when I couldn't get a specific hardwood brand from anywhere else. Through some unfortunate circumstances (not his fault), the purchase problem was corrected and would highly recommend Todd for his hard work and honesty.

Flooring renovation
Throughout the last few months, I have been renovating and preparing my home for the arrival of my first child. The flooring was the biggest part of this project and I contacted several companies for quotes. Masterpiece was not only the lowest quote, they offered better product. Further Connie and Todd were very accommodating with the time sensitivity of my project and my desire to have the installation done before the birth. The end product was excellent, I couldn't be more happy. I am now the proud father of a new son and a new floor!

Consultation on flooring
While having floors installed by another company, we ran into a problem which that company could not solve. Conny generously gave me a ton of information over the phone that helped me "know where to even start", and Todd came to my home a few days later to assess the issue and offer his ideas in person. They refused to be paid, even though their assistance helped me get the job done properly. Thank you, Connie and Todd! You are at the top of my list for any further flooring I do!!

Foyer, Kitchen, and Family Room Renovation
My experience with Masterpiece Hardwood Flooring was wonderful. From the first meeting with Connie, I knew that this was the company I wanted to work with. I am so happy with the final results! Connie was helpful, professional, and very knowledgeable about the products. I want to thank Todd for the removal and installation of the new floor. We are very pleased with Masterpiece Hardwood Flooring and would highly recommend them to others. Thank you once again!!

Hardwood installation - entire home
There are not enough words to express my gratitude and satisfaction with Masterpiece Hardwood. I met with Connie to get information about some of the products they offer. We had hardwood that needed to be replaced as well as carpet that needed to go. Connie has a wealth of knowledge and was such a pleasure to deal with. She was not pushy and was not looking for a sale. She was patient with me. I swear I took home every sample they had in the DuChateau line they carry and gave honest opinions when asked. When we finally made our decision the product was delivered on time. Todd and Daryl (and other members of the crew) were amazing. The attention to detail was outstanding. The flooring we chose had alot of variations of color. Todd and Daryl made sure that every piece blended. Every vent and stair nosing were crafted on site. The vents blend so well it is hard to see where they are! They went above and beyond on the installation. We had our entire home painted prior to the floor installation and Todd, Daryl and crew made sure they never marked a wall, were tidy and completed the job early. When the job was almost done we decided that we wanted to clad our island wall. We contacted Connie and she spoke with Todd to ensure we had enough product left. There was not a lot of waste and Todd said no problem. The finished product is truly a piece of art. The entire experience was nothing short of our expectations. An amazing company from the start to finish. Masterpiece Hardwood proved that there are still people out there that take pride in their work as well as a passion for their skill that shines through. Connie, Todd and Daryl are rare jems. We are thrilled with the end result and have no hesitation in recommending them and will use them again when we finish our basement. Thank you Masterpiece Hardwood for providing us a space that we are proud to show to others. We love our floors and have received many compliments on them.

Main Floor Replacement
Dealing was Connie and Todd was a delight from start to finish. Connie was pleasant, informative, professional and quickly answered all of our questions. Todd came to our home as scheduled and completed the installation on time and on budget. No surprises. Our floor is beautiful! We love it!

Hardwood Floor
It’s an absolute pleasure to write a review for Masterpiece Flooring. Truly, exceptional service straight from the heart! I began the process of looking for a hardwood installing company a year before my start date, I read every review of the most “standout” hardwood companies in Calgary, and when I came across Masterpiece, I re-read and read the reviews at least 5 times. When you’re beginning a massive renovation project in which you are putting forward a substantial amount of dollars it didn’t make sense to not do through research. Six months before I settled on Masterpiece, I met with Connie. Connie, responded to my inquiry right away and went through all my questions patiently. Once, I was confident that I wanted to proceed, she came by my property and measured each area and gave me a quote. She went through each budget line thoroughly and asked if I had any questions. After I placed the deposit for services, Connie was still available to speak with me for the many questions I had. The renovation, didn’t actually begin until 6 months after my initial deposit and one year after I began my research. This was intentional on my part, as I wanted enough time to be prepared with the magnitude of the renovations. I highlight this point only because, I wasn’t Masterpiece’s “current” customer, I was a job pending, yet they treated me with respect, answered my many calls, and helped me prepare for the install. The installation was completed in July 2015. I’ve been eagerly awaiting to write this review. Todd, Tye, Darryl and team were extremely professional during the install and showed great integrity in their work. They kept the work area clean and updated me on the progress of the renovations. My elderly parents often would be at home during the renovations, and all members of Todd’s team, treated them with compassion and catered the renovations with their specific needs for using particular spaces at that time. Often, when the fridge was unhooked one of Todd’s team members would offer to “rehook” the fridge temporarily for my parents to each lunch. This is above and beyond and is certainly not what I would have expected of them. I’m a person who values being on time, and I was very impressed that Todd and his team arrived at the exact time each morning and kept me in the loop if they were staying later or if they were going to be a few minutes late. The install of the floor and baseboards is spectacular. It is obvious that Todd and his team took great care when cutting and laying the boards. Many people have commented on the floor and how beautiful it has been crafted. The final price, was in line with the quote without any surprises. I am ecstatic that my nightmares of a possible horror renovation proved to be false. It has been an amazing experience contracting Masterpiece Flooring, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Hardwood Installed in our home
After reading 113 reviews (yes I read every one of them) about the services provided by Masterpiece Hardwood Flooring; my husband and I decided to contact them about installing hardwood in part of our house. We first met with Connie. She made the decision process very easy (I felt overwhelmed by all the possible choices of flooring). Todd came out to do the measurements for the quote within a few days; he was here when he said he would be. Todd and Darryl came out to do the installation of the hardwood within a few weeks. The transitions (6 of them) are so much better looking than my husband thought they would be (that was one of his major concerns about the hardwood floor installation). Todd did a beautiful job on all of them (transitions from porcelain tile, carpet, and linoleum). The product we selected was a solid hardwood maple 3/4". We wanted select quality and a good warranty (35 years). It might be a little more expensive than the "Big Box" stores; but we feel we bought better quality. We are glad that we will be dealing with Todd and Connie should any warranty problems occur. Connie and Todd truly know what good customer service is; both of them are so easy to talk to and answered all of our question/concerns. Connie responded to all my emails quickly. Next year we are looking forward to having hardwood installed in our living room/dining room and will definitely be contacting Todd and Connie to do this for us. We did have a minor concern and contacted Connie via email and Todd came out the following Monday (after a Friday install) to see us. Thanks again Todd and Connie. We absolutely love, love, love our new floors and are so glad we were able to find you. We highly recommend you contact this company if you are looking for superior workmanship from a group of people that really do care.

Hardwood floor installation for stairs and lower level
We highly recommend Masterpiece Hardwood Flooring to anyone considering their services. From initial contact through to job completion they were professional in approach, friendly, provided excellent service with top tier work and they paid attention to all the details. During our initial consultation, Connie provided valuable assistance in helping us decide which product was best suited to our needs and added her thoughtful comments regarding color and finish to match our decor. In our case, we needed to have some additional work completed due to part of our concrete basement floor sinking which required involving another contractor for this specialized work. We certainly relied upon their knowledge and expertise which resulted in the job being completed within the initial time frame estimate and trusted that they helped us make the right decision. Todd and Darryl were professional and true craftsman who are concerned about the quality of their work which was evident from the way they worked and it certainly showed in the final results. They showed up on time, were respectful of our questions, friendly and have a strong work ethic. We have nothing but positive comments about their services and without hesitation provide a high recommendation for them; thanks guys!

Main floor and stair flooring rennovation
Masterpiece Flooring; what a gem, from beginning to end. Our 13 year old home was in need of a makeover, our original hardwood floors and carpet were just....worn out. Before we began to contact any companies for quotes, we did our research, and spent several nights reading reviews on HomeStars. The company that really stood out regarding hardwood, was Masterpiece Hardwood Flooring. We did get other quotes, but felt Masterpiece had the product we wanted, and their customer service was exceptional. We booked a private viewing at the showroom, with Connie, the sales manager, where she explained all the differences in the products. She was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We didn't feel rushed at all, and we had LOTS of questions. When she arrived at our home to measure for a quote, she was friendly and genuine; offering lots of suggestions, answering all of our questions....again. It made us feel very comfortable and we never felt pressured or rushed to make a decision. After we had received the quote, we felt confident they were the company to move forward with, and we decided to go with the Du Chateau product. Todd, is the installation foreman; as likable a guy, as you could meet and a master at his craft. It was very obvious to us that Todd and his crew take real pride in their work. Before they began installing, Todd came over and even laid out a box of flooring, to make absolutely sure we were satisfied with the product, and how it would look. We were. They did a fantastic job of installing, and floor looks great. There is an art to it as well, as the flooring we choose has a variety of wood colours and it really takes time to do it right. When you are ready for new hardwood, make sure Masterpiece is on the short list, they were the best company we worked with on our home renovation. Shorts: 1. They showed up, when they said they would. 2. Communication was excellent, Connie kept us well informed on shipping/arrival dates, and made sure we knew she was available to answer any questions we had moving forward. 3. Todd and his crew were very respectful of our home, and finished their day around OUR lifestyle needs, not theirs. 4. They care about making the customer happy. Great company to work with. 5. They finished on time. 6. Follow up was excellent, to make certain we were satisfied. Great job by Masterpiece. Connie you were right, we love the flooring more and more, thanks for all your input
