Started an unplanned basement renovation and found a sizeable hole in my brick foundation, a leaky basement window poorly installed and signs of persistent moisture in the walls. Bill and his team arrived and delivered; exterior waterproofing was completed in 2 days and they did a fantastic job repairing the foundation and window. The team was professional, completing all required work quickly and it was done right. Communication throughout was great, could not be happier with the end result. I highly recommend Bill and his team, they did a great job!

I have used Fairney and Sons for years and am never disappointed. This time they did a new concrete floor in our basement and parged the walls, installed a new bathroom and built new fencing on a second floor deck. Special high praise for Adam and Shaun (and team) who did all the basement and parging work. They were timely and left the place amazingly clean and tidy every day and at the end of the project. As with everything Bill and the team does it is first rate. Bill is always available and very responsive. He also recommended a great electrician for related work and when we had an emergency rad issue, he was able to arrange for someone to come in without delay. He is the only contractor I would recommend. 12/10 stars!

Amazing work from the Fairney & Sons! They were able to come to our to place asap to check out the leak - and booked us in much sooner than anticipated. Bill is very direct, informative and great with communication. His quote was detailed and he talked me through the process and options. His team was polite, efficient and just a great group of guys. After replacing the top part of our roof, front and back, in a day, they left our alleyway and side path cleaner than i'd ever seen it. Bill offered to consult on any other home issues and we'll be taking him up on that. It's great to feel like you someone working with you and for you!

Great, efficient work with a cheerful, polite crew - excellent clean-up. Bill is very good at communicating timelines, costs and keeping track of the work throughout. If he said that the crew was going to be here at a specific time, they either would be right on time or he would have texted/called the night before to revise the time which they would then stick to. Very easy and trustworthy contractor-client relationship.

Bill and team finished our basement in summer 2022. They were remarkably on time and close to budget, easy to deal with, and flexible around design and requests. A year and a half later everything is still great. Would 100% recommend.

Bill was quick to respond to our call and provide a quote. Loved working with him and his teams. The work involved opening finished wall to foundation and digging trench, waterproofing and refinishing section. Both the waterproofing team and refinishing crew were great - on time, tidy, kept us informed of progress, and finished on schedule. Plan to use Bill again. In fact, we asked for a quote on an outside project. He gave us a simple keeper alternative we could . Love his frank, honest advice!

Bill completed roof work (both flat roof and shingled) for our home in late November; he and his crew were thorough and kept us abreast of any problems as they arose. He also replaced our eavestroughs during this project. He provided us with photographs before, during and after the project and was very appropriate and reasonable throughout. We are going to have him come back for some dry walling and painting.

Bill quoted our neighbours roof which was leaking and reached out with an offer to do our roof at the same time. He offered a discount to both of us. I was truly impressed with Bills knowledge and his thoughtful attention to the work being done on our roof. We did both shingles and a flat roof. We were so pleased with our new roof that we called Bill to address some masonry work on our house. Again, he was so prompt and thorough with his quote. Our masonry expert was Michael who tackled the job of tuck pointing our brick, removing some no-longer-needed vents, and did a rebuild on our chimney. The masonry work is complete and looks fantastic. We are super pleased and will be calling Bill at Fairney & Sons for our next job.

Fairney & Sons have done many projects for us at our previous house and one moved into a few years ago. The most recent project was a kitchen Reno with flooring update for the main floor. The project turned out extremely well, with Bill and his team paying close attention to details and bringing our designs to reality. All the trades people are very respectful, keep a clean work area, and all do exceptional work.

Bill and his great team at Fairney and Sons renovated the front of our home including some difficult stairs and front porch. They made a very constrained site work and delivered a wonderful looking job on time and with the outmost professionalism. Bill is a great communicator and his team where curteous in handling some difficult neighbours. The added bonus is how clean and tidy they left the site at the end of everyday.
