The first thing that struck me when I began working with Fairney &Sons was that Bill Fairney genuinely cared about helping with the problems in my house. My basement flooded early in the year and I had called a company that I had worked with before and left messages every day for 8 days about the flooding in my basement but no one called me back. I then called Fairney & Sons because I received their flyer in my mailbox and Bill called me right back. He had someone come over the next day, who immediately drained my basement, which was an enormous relief.
He also called me back later to make sure my basement wasnt flooding again.
A few weeks later my ceiling started to leak, and based on the great service I had received, I called Bill again. His workers showed up on time, fixed the roof and cleaned up all of the mess outside because I had mentioned the importance of maintaining a good relationship with my neighbours with whom I share a path above which the roof repairs were being done.
Without me asking, Bill sent me photos of the roof before it was fixed and after, so that I could verify what had been done. The costs were exactly as stated on the invoices he provided me in advance and there were no surprises.
I will be underpinning my basement and have already started working with Bill and his team to get that done.
I dont work with people who provide less than exemplary work. I have had contractors who didnt show up when they said they would, didnt do the work that they said they would, have had to be called multiple times to return to complete work they left unfinished and did not provide correct information about timelines for completing their work, all of which can be incredibly stressful. When I deal with Bill, it is always easy, straightforward and stress-free.
