    Best movers ever !

    I picked Around Town Moving & Delivery because of their simplicity and flexibility. Competitive rates, no hidden fees, no small charaters, etc... They seemed simple and they are ! When they showed up, on time (fantastic!), I felt right away that everything was professionally taken in charge. Such a stress relief! They know their business. They really know and understand the stress of moving which they manage super well. They're dynamic, professional, polite, they're diligent with your stuffs. Basically, they're the best movers for your stuff and for yourself! I will surely recommand you. Thank you Devonte !

    Moving 2 bedroom apartment

    Around Town & Devonte was a life saver for me. I moved a 2 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor to a 2 bedroom basement apartment in a house. I had originally booked another mover to move my girlfriend and her mom, but was unhappy with the contract, when I asked the company to revise it and resend it, they never did, nor did they take or return any of my numerous calls. I happened to come across Around Town on homestars and called them 2 days before they had to move! I spoke to Devonte personally and explained my story of how the original movers bailed on me. He immediately said he would take the job and being able to read me well he even said "you sound like a nice guy so I'll help you out and do your move". I was relieved that he was able to fit me in on short notice. He quoted me a reduced rate of $60/hr plus 1 hr for travel time - no additional or hidden costs. And true to his word there were no additional or hidden costs. Moving day came and Devonte called to inform me that the move right before our move had delayed him as the client had nothing packed properly. Lesson to all - please help out your movers and your wallet by having all your stuff properly boxed and labelled and setup so that the movers can just pick it up, load and go. I was glad that he called me - shows alot of professionalism. They showed up and did exactly what Devonte had explained over the phone. They assessed the pick up location and I did not have to sign any contract or pay any deposit before they lifted a single box. They loaded the boxes and furniture with alot of care and wrapped the items that needed to be wrapped in moving blankets. The delivery at the new location was a breeze and unloaded very quickly. At the end of the move there were no major damages to any of my stuff or broken glass. Which I'm very grateful for. I also did not have to sign or pay any additional fees for them to unload. As a testament to their high quality/excellent pricing and efficiency we hired them on the spot for the very next day to help us move some additional boxes that did not make it in the first move. They came the next day on time and did exactly what they said they would do. Again with no additional or hidden fees. Honestly speaking Around Town is the best moving company I've used. And I've used a few in the past. They are reliable, honest and trustworthy. There are no deposits, no additional or hidden costs. Just a solid company with great people behind it.     Several Movings - From House to Apartment and House to House for two days total of 17 hours

    Devonte and Jonny did a great job. Very professional and friendly. They were ontime. I highly reocommend their great services. That's why I asked them to move the stuff of my parents house to new apartment. They have strong positive attitude no matter how tire they are. Devonte himself has lots of experience in moving and he knows how to move your stuff safely. Again thanks for your great job. Very much appreciate your help. Ashkan

    Move from a 2+1 large condo to a house

    Devonte and his team did a great job for our Move. They know their business and work really hard to do the move as fast as possible. We had so much stuff that we had to do the move in two trips but still were able to finish it in less than 8 hours. I highly recommend him and would call him for sure for my next move. One thing that I personally liked as well was that there was no hidden fee and he charged us exactly what he told us before. Thanks a lot Devonte!

    moved a 1 bedroom

    We were very pleased to have selected Around Town to move our daughter into her apartment. From the initial contact to the end of the move, Devonte was terrific. He was professional and efficient. Extremely personable, he was willing to do anything to make the move successful. Our move included multiple stops for pickup and delivery. Devonte and J worked very hard to ensure that everything was done well and in a timely fashion. I would definitely use them again for another move.

    Move from 1 bedroom condo to townhouse

    These guys are really great. I highly recommend them, and I will definitely be calling them the next time I need to move house. I had what turned out to be a difficult move. Not too much stuff, but the new place didn't allow the guys to park very close, and it had a LOT of stairs (four sets, three of them narrow and twisty). We started late, due to the people the guys moved before me not being able to get their keys on time. This was out of the movers' control and not their fault at all. Devonte let me know about the situation in advance and even gave me a discount to make up for it. It ended up being a long night; the guys worked quickly and efficiently under tough conditions--for seven hours straight. They finished at 3am. Even after such a long day, they were completely professional and hard-working the entire time. I was really, very impressed. Nothing broken, no hidden fees--just a job well done, and for a very reasonable price. I am so glad I chose these guys; I kept thinking how badly it could have turned out if I had hired another company that wasn't as capable, determined and professional as Devonte and his partner. On top of this, I was called a few days after the move to make sure everything was fine and to offer to come by and help (free of charge), if I needed anything heavy moved to another part of the house. You should definitely call them if you need to move. I promise you will not be disappointed.

    Move within Toronto

    I hired Around Town based on their positive reviews here on HomeStars, and I couldn't be happier about my choice. These guys are amazing! Devonte and his crew were fast, friendly, efficient and professional throughout my move. They worked quickly and without complaint during a hot, humid day on the Canada Day long weekend, handling tight stairways, narrow streets, and my large collection of books and bookshelves. They even managed to haul my heavy mattress up and over the third story balcony to my bedroom -- nicely wrapped, of course, to keep it clean and safe. There were no scratches or damage to either apartment, or to any of my belongings. I will absolutely use Around Town for my next move, and will be recommending them to all my friends. Great work, guys! Thank you!!

    Around Town Moving and Delivery

    I called Devonte to move a refridgerator and table from North York to Broadview and Queen. He was here the very next day. Polite, on time and very personable, he and his partner easily moved the items to their truck. The receiver on the other end called me an hour later and said "Where did you get these guys? They were great!" They moved the fridge into her kitchen and moved her old fridge out to the door for Hydro pick up. Cost was reasonable and I will definitely use them again!

    Moving My Condo

    Devonte and his team did an outstanding job in executing my move. They were efficient, professional, polite and took extra care not to damage any of my belongings. I would recommend them without hesitation. They were fabulous!!

    Moving

    Devonte and his team has done an excellent job in helping us move. They have truly provided us with great service and has ensured that as customers, we have achieved the highest level of satisfaction. We really liked the fact that they were willing to help with every aspect of the move, starting from ensuring that all items (large or small) were wrapped properly, were safely transported to the new house without even a single scratch and disassemble everything with utmost care and efficiency at the same time. They are extremely reliable, easy to get along with and patient with customer requests. These are attributes that come at one of the most reasonable prices in town. I will most definitely hire them for all my moving in the future. I strongly recommend them to any family, couples or singles that are considering a move.
