Water service pipe replacement (torpedo method); sump pump and backwater valve installation
Dmitry and his crew did a great job on our basement, replacing our lead water pipes and installing a sump pump and backwater valve. Dmitry was great to communicate with and was very accommodating when we had to make some last minute adjustments to the work plan. Highly recommend him and would hire him again any time.

Backwater valve installation and stack repair
Dmitry installed a backwater valve two years ago and, more recently, repaired the stack in our house. Both times we found him to be extremely good to work with: very professional and efficient, comes when he says he will come, covers up the floors around the area that he will be working in. His prices are reasonable. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the work done.

1) Main drain plumbing roots, pipe replaced.leak repair, main drain
Dmitry takes pride in his work, has reasonable prices and can handle any size of project. I have been using A To Z Plumbing for all my plumbing needs for over eight years and recommend them without hesitation.

Backwater valve and sump pump installation
We had a sump pump and backwater valve installed. I had called a few companies and actually had someone from a certain popular home renovation app who was supposed to complete the work - however, they said I had to remove a bunch of existing shelving in the area and get the concrete poured myself after to cover the hole in the ground. I am so glad I didn’t go with them! I called and reached Dmitry right away and he answered all my questions. He came the same day and gave me a quote which was very reasonable. Once we agreed, the job was completed within a few days including the city inspection. No need to remove shelving and destroy the room! I am so impressed with how responsive and professional they were and how quickly and neatly the job was completed. I would highly recommend!

Leaky hot water pipe
I contacted Dmitry on short notice to fix a leaking hot water pipe that I was unable to fix. I was very happy with his work and that he was there first thing in the morning. I would recommend Dmitry & A-Z Plumbing. Thanks Dmitry! Mike

2 Jobs in Our Basement
We've hired Dmitry and his team twice over the course of the last year. The first project was to install a sump pump and flood proof our basement. We were pleased with the work he did on that project so he was our only choice for the 2nd project, roughing in a 3 piece bathroom and laundry room in the basement. Dmitry and his team are professional, clean, and honest. We also really appreciated that Dmitry frequently communicated what was going on with the project and stuck to the both the estimate he provided and the timeframe for completion. Highly recommended.

Sump Pump, Backwater Valve, Pipe Replacement, and Sink Rough-In/Install
We are very happy with the work completed by Dmitry and his team. First, Dmitry went above and beyond by visiting our home to provide a quote on the day that we called since he happened to be nearby. We had a sump pump and backwater valve installed in our older home in East York, as well as having some older galvanized steel pipes replaced and plumbing for a laundry sink added in the basement. All the work was completed efficiently, with very good attention to detail, and for a reasonable price. All work areas were left neat and tidy. Dmitry is also knowledgeable about the requirements for the City of Toronto Basement Flooding Protection Subsidy Program and reviewed the paperwork with us when the work was complete (submitted and now waiting on the city). We would not hesitate to contact A to Z Plumbing & Drain for future projects and highly recommend this company to others.

Basement Drainage rough in, Sump pump, Backflow valve
We hired A to Z plumbing to do a number of jobs in our basement renovation. Digging and installing new drainage rough in for toilet, vanity drain and shower drainage, along with venting. They replaced a 6' section of clay pipe and the kitchen drain/clean out. They installed a backflow valve which needed about 5 feet deep digging to access the main pipe. Lastly, Dmitri assessed the source of a small leak in my concrete floor, and recommended a solution (installing about 20' of weeping tile in the interior, connected to a new sump pump). All of this work was done quickly, with them answering questions and providing their recommendations. Dmitri is a professional and I'd hire them again!

clogged sewer drain.
I recently had a clogged drain in the basement bathroom. I tried everything to no avail. I researched Homestars as well as websites deciding to contact Dimitry of A TO Z PLUMBING. Dimitry's website was the reason I decided over the others including Homestars reviews. Dimitry arrived on time and was very easy to talk to as he described in detail what he was going to do. Dimitry snaked the drain and the clog wasn't in the basement it was actually 50' from the bathroom. Dimitry located the leak in the driveway and explained that he had to get clearances from Call One before starting to dig. Dimitry called and within days arranged a time to start the job. They were early and after snaking the line one more time the digging started. This was a hard job as it was in December and the ground was clay as well as large boulders that they had to navigate to locate the clay pipe. Dimitry's locate was right where he marked which meant the hole in the driveway was very small. Dimitry's crew replaced the clogged sewer line as it had a 90% blockage and replaced the clay piping with PVC piping. Dimitry also snaked the line right to the sewer which was clear. I highly recommend A TO Z PLUMBING.

Temporary Plumbing works
We got some temporary work done to install a dishwasher. The guys I dealt with were professional, quickly, and installed exactly what we needed : a temporary drain and new supply pipe/valve. They got the dishwasher connected and even started it up for us. Overall I happy with the job.
