    Home Alarm

    From the moment that I called United Alarm for a quote for my personal residence it was an instant relief. I had purchased a house and was looking for a reputable company to make me feel comfortable and safe. That is exactly what I received right off the get go. The staff are highly trained and extremely professional, a true example of how every company should be ran. The services and product that I was quoted, are exactly what I have received. They were very prompt in coming to install the state of the art product that they offer, I can now finally operate my alarm from any smart device with ease. I was pleasantly surprised that even the installer that they sent to my home was an exact match of the product that I was receiving; professional, clean and informative. Adrian was his name and I highly recommend this gentleman. In the past I have dealt with many different alarm companies and this was far superior than I have ever experienced before. I would like to say thank you for keeping my family safe 24/7! United Alarm will always be my first choice in protecting my home or business!

    Alarm System with cameras

    The technician Adrian who did our install did an amazing job, he was very efficient and was able to install our cameras with no problems, even though other companies told me it couldn't be done given the age of our house. The sales person Bob was also excellent and really tried to get to know our needs and actually tried to down sell us! I would recommend United to others for sure!

    United alarm

    This company is terrible to deal with, more interested in threats than actual customer service or customer retention. They charged me for an entire year after I moved out of province and are still trying to charge me now after the contract expired. Brutal management!!! This is exactly what a company does with a bad review or your inquirery on the phone. I'm unhappy with United Alarms, I made every effort to make them a deal, offered the equipment back, offered to cover my end of the arrangement. I fulfilled my contract. Nobody ever made a comment that I didn't. Then a representative that clearly hasn't been trained in customer satisfaction or retention jumps on here and cites approval rates and blames the customer. Just what I said, a company that you don't want to do business with.

We do our best to meet and exceed every client's expectations, so it is disconcerting to hear that you are unhappy with your experience. We have been in business for over 23 years and have a 99.9% approval rating among our multitudes of customers. Unfortunately, when you sign for a contract and receive the goods and services, you are responsible for fulfilling the agreement to the end, or have the option of buying out the contract. This is no different to a cell phone agreement, even if you don’t want to use the unit, you would still be liable for payments as stated on your agreement. If you no longer want the services from your cell phone provider, you need to cancel the account or it will continue to be billed until notification is sent to the company responsible. Your contract is no different; you had a year left on your agreement and didn’t wish to buy it out. It is unfortunate that your experience was less than positive, our staff would have taken the time to explain your options out of the contract.

    Alarm Installation

    Called around to a few alarm companies to get information. I came across United Alarm and their reviews seemed to be good so I gave them a shot. They had an excellent promotion on a system that included alarm, fire monitoring, flood sensor, cold temperature sensor etc. We decided to go with them and had them come out to do the install. The installer was quick, clean and explained everything. Since having the system installed, we have been quite happy. We have accidentally set the alarm off a few times and the company has called us within one minute each time to make sure everything is ok. Overall, highly recommended. Note that the cost above is the per month contract amount ($30) for a 38 month term.

    Alarm System

    United Alarm's Customer Service is a big problem. Beware of all the 'positive comments' on this review site, as company's often post their own reviews. I wanted to cancel my service, because there was a 'communication error' whereby the system was not communicating with United Alarms. This 'communication error' happened twice before. They had to come out and fix it, which took a while. Now that I want to cancel, they want 60 days notice - for a service that isn't working. Satina dropped it down to 30 days. I said - why am I paying for something that doesn't work? She said - it's in your contract. I said the contract also requires the system to be working - which it isn't. She said it doesn't matter. I asked to speak with her supervisor. She refused. She said - if you go to KFC and you have a problem with the chicken do you ask to speak to the Colonel? I'm not a happy customer and would never recommend United Alarm to anyone.

    Elbow Park Alarm System

    Very competative pricing and exceptional service. United Alarms has been our alarm provider for several years and when we purchased our new home, they were quick to move our service and advice us on security needs for our new home. Highy recommended.

    Home security/alarm

    Very poor service and manager is very unprofessional. We had an appointment for a technician to meet at my house. After waiting for 1 hour and 30 minutes, the manager asked us to wait for another 30 minutes with no valid explanation or apologies. Definitely unsatisfactory service and NOT RECOMMENDED.

    Complete Alarm system installation.

    Sanita at United Alarm Inc., is the person you want to deal with when you are needing someone with perfect knowledge, experience and who is able to communicate clearly and concisely what you are getting and what to expect. A generous discount from the company for senior's is very helpful and the smoke alert does get you a discount on your home insurance policy that will end up adding even more value to your security system. I can now rest easy knowing that my sweet companion and our residence are protected day and night. Thanks United Alarm for your efficient and friendly service! Love the keypad and how easy it is to navigate. I have seen some keypads that are a nightmare to figure out and this one is so user friendly. I would recommend United Alarm to anyone. From first phone call to final installation they are highly professional, on time, deliver a quality product and do it all with such genuine caring and good will. Pleasure to deal with everyone at the office. You can hear the smile in their voices!

    New alarm installation

    Recently had United Alarm home security installed to replace our out-of-date AlarmForce system. Customer service and quality was exceptional. The installer was very professional and very helpful in determining our homes' needs. Would definitely recommend to others!

    United Alarm

    I was with DATA-4 before, and I have decided to switch over to United Alarm, since all my friends and neighbors are using United Alarm as their home security system and their monitor centre is awesome. Vince, the sales rep is very knowledge able and the technician who did the reprogramming for my home security is very technical too. I am very pleased and happy with the United Alarms services. I would highly recommended to everyone who is looking for home security system and also for those who already have home security should switch over to United Alarms.
